Matthew 87's RPGWO Art

I set this page up to be an Online Portfolio of the work I've done for RPGWO.

I'd like to hear any feedback you have on my Images and Ideas, if you think they suck I want to hear about it. Contact me at dalts_87@hotmail.com

These images (although some are just slightly modified) are mine and I don't wish them to be used unless I give permission.

BOOKS:

    Open Tomes                                 Books

I think RPGWO would be richer with books, we have the bookcases, but all we can do is stack weapons and crap on them.

My idea is that you make empty books or buy them from a Scribe, then you write on Parchment and insert it into the book as the pages, books would only be able to contain Parchment, I don't think they should be able to carry scrolls like a Bulletin Board aswell.

Open Tomes would be book items that players cannot take, you could use them to give Quests more of a story.

SIGN WALLS:

Walls with Parchment                      Walls with Plaques           Plaques

Left Side Sign Walls                    Right Side Sign Walls*

Many times I've had to shorten the width/length of my house just to put in a Sign to show people it's mine. These items would eliminate that.

You get some parchment or make a plaque with carpentry and use it on your wall and you get one of these. Then you write on it, presto you have a wall people can read and no need to leave room for a sign.

*One set is made just like the others, the other set has the signs made slightly darker to match the shadowed wall, although I'm not sure if those are even dark enough to suit it.

Here's the full set of Sign Wall pictures and the data I've written to use them.

ORIENTAL WEAPONS:

Oriental Weapons (In Progress)

Eastern Countries have some very cool weapons, I'd love to wield some of these in RPGWO but some of them don't really fit into the Weapons classes we have now. I propose a Kung-Fu skill or just Oriental Weapons skill to use these in the game.

One idea I had about these is they could be dual-use, use your hands on it and it becomes a slightly different weapon. But the problem with this I think would be the weapon would probably become repaired once use use your hands on it to change it.

(For example, some weapons  have a cutting edge and a blunt weight on either end)

(Or you can get a Tonfa/Night Stick that unscrews to reveal a chain in the middle, making it a nunchuk as well )

COMING SOON:

*More Book Items.

*More Oriental Weapons.

*An Art Skill set. (with signs mounted on walls why not paintings?)

*A Glass Blowing Skill set.
