 | Welcome to Shadow Acres! We are a private stable that offers a modern facility for our four-legged residents. Some of the major features of Shadow Acres are described below. Our Barns Shadow Acres has two main barns. The first provides a home for the horses in our breeding program. Our breeding stallions are handled as colts, so their manners are inpeccable. Our broodmares keep a richly nutricious diet all year round which helps produce healthy, lively foals. The second barn is home to our horses in training or competition. An average work schedule for one week consists of at least one major workout, one medium workout, one light hack, and one field day. They are fed appropriate diets for their discipline of riding and are always prepared to strive for the best. Our Pastures As you drive down the driveway, lush pastures enclosed by black four-board fencing spread out on either side. The pastures are kept rich and fertalized. Horses are turned out at least 8 consecutive hours every day. Throughout the year, the horses are rotated between the paddocks to prevent overgrazing. |  |
