Training
Shadow Acres offers numerous options to assist in training your horse. The outside ring is strictly reserved for dressage. It is a 40 x 100 m arena with blue-stone footing. A white quick release chain outlines the perimeter along with all the letters needed to perform the perfect test! The indoor ring is mainly used for schooling your hunter/jumper. There are adjustable obstacles spread out within the arena, allowing you to create the perfect course! The indoor can be used for any discipline and provides a place to ride during the winter months when the ground is frozen. The footing in the indoor is actually a mixture between sand and a flexi-rubber material. Last, but certainly not least, Shadow Acres is home to a vast 50 acre cross-country course. There are obstacles throughout the woods, around water, and across plains that provide practice or a fun challenge for any level of eventer.
