Final Fantasy is a game created in 1986. It was first released to Nintendos 8 Bit playing console and three games was made for that console. But only one of them was moved and developed in the US. It was Final Fantasy I. When the console called Super Nintedo was made a little while later further three games was made. They had special attributes all of them and was different from each other. Final Fantasy IV became Final Fantasy II in the US and they skipped the Final Fantasy V and made Final Fantasy VI as the number III in the US. That was for Super Nintendo. Square planned to do a Final Fantasy VII to the new console called Nintendo 64 Bit but quitted their alliance with the Nintendo Corporation for the Final Fantasy Series and made the game FFVII to the sony console Playstation. While having alliance with Nintendo they also made a few Final Fantasy games called Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Those too became stopped after the third. It became confusion in the US when Final Fantasy VII was in stores since they only had I, II and II. Square made it so that all countries have the game from 7 and so on to not make more confusion. Final Fantasy VII was launched in the 1997. At 1999 came a Final Fantasy VIII and at the late 2000 a Final Fantasy IX was launched too. Some fans was very disappointed on Square since they think that FFIX is a mixup from the old games. While making FFVIII they made a game called Final Fantasy Tactics wich was launched everywhere exept Europe like other titles they made. In the 2001 Final Fantasy X was launched and is supposed to be launched in the early 2002 in Europe. Its on the new console Playstation2 wich has much better graphic than the ordinary Playstation console. Of course so did Sony develop this console. Square have already given pictures to the Final Fantasy XI wich is said to be a complete on-line game. Also so has they said that the character developer is the same as in FFVII and FFVIII. We have to wait and see what it will become...

 

Diablo is a game created by Blizzard and was launched in the late 1995. It is a RPG-Action game wich you only have to kill and get down a few levels. On the way you can do some quests to gain some extreme items if you want. Diablo was a hit on players since you could play it in multiplayer mode to. Later in 1999 Diablo2 was launched and with a 8 player ability wich made many players be together at one time. Stronger enemies and more places to explore made the Diablo players feel more things to do. Diablo2 became more RPG looking since you had to do a lot of quests before coming to your real enemy. After a half-year, a year the expansion called "Lord of Destrucktion" came and made another world to explore. Much more items could be found and much more. Since the multiplayer ability made them play on the Battle.net they had their characters there and could use them when they needed. But if not used within 90 days they should be deleted. Blizzard has many games on their neck wich have a lot of fans such as Starcraft, Warcraft and their followers so Diablo too became a big hit. Diablo is a PC game but the first one in the series was launched on the Playstation but didnt became a big hit there.

 

Command and Conquer was realeased at the 94 and was a Dos or Windows 3.11 game. But when the Windows 95 released they created a Command and Conquer 95 Edition. Also a expansion called Covert Operations. But before this game of sucess an earlier game called Dune 2 made more people continue with Command and Conquer when it was released. And a little while after 95 edition and Covert Ops, Red Alert was released. It was a bright sucess and many players enjoyed this masterpiece. It was surely the most popular strategy game until Blizzards Starcraft invaded the PC. But still players stuck on to Red Alert. Also two expansions came out called Counter Strike and Aftermath. Wich had 7 new units to break havoc on the battle field. In difference to Command and Conquer 95, Red Alert was storied with the Allied versus the Sovjet army. In Command and Conquer 95 it was a terrorist group called NOD wich fighted against the good guys called GDI. And there was a plant from outer space called Tiberium in Command and Conquer 95 wich wasnt in the Red Alert game. So this tiberium...became the head for the next game, wich was called Tiberian Sun wich was the continuing after Command and Conquer 95. Some call it for C&C 2. Badly the game was later then its realese date and people started to complain but it was over when the game was out. An expansion called Fire Storm was released to Tiberian Sun but I dont have the actual date for that expansion. And in the 2000 Westwood made a Red Alert 2 after their Dune 2000 came out but with no popular rating exactly... Red Alert 2 got a lot of fans after it again as Red Alert and later at the 2001 a expansion came out called Yuris Revenge wich had a totally new country with massive new units and other new units to the other countries as well. And now Westwood made another master piece called Command and Conquer Renegade. Its storyline is how GDI and NOD actually made war against each other and how they came to the world. It is totally different from the other Command and Conquer titles since it isnt a battle fireld overwiev anymore. Now YOU are playing at the battle field in first person mode. Wich allows you entering building, building from there and controlling units such as the marvelous Mammoth Tank from beyound the steering wheel. Dont mock that one. Before the Renegade Emperor of Dune was made but as I know those Dune games werent a hit as the original C&C titles are. So now it is too see what lays beyound Command and Conquer Renegade and what the Tiberium really can do...
