History

1. In the fall of 2015 philledelphia mysteriously burned to the ground (the whole city) the government blamed it on terrorists, but those who know about such things suspect supernatural involvement, and there was talk of a giant snake made out of fire.
   

2. Late summer 2016 the city of newark new jersey was caught in a freak blizard, at the same time large numbers of magic users, particularly sorcerers began dieing in mysterious explosions. the newark blizard lasted several days, after which residents report seeing a giant tiger made of ice.

3. Winter 2017 the resistance in spain scores a major vicyory with the fire bombing of lady vashti's pallace in Saville (i'm sure i spelled that wrong...), there was a simultaneous gas main explosion on earth at the same location (coincidence?)

4. Spring 2017 Lord ashtart somehow becomes insanely powerful, in a single day he dose the following: Kills moloch, transmutes the entire city of hell's gate harbor (new york) from gray stone and iron to gold and marble, transmutes all of his (moloch's) armies (hounds, hunters, etc.) and their weapons from black iron to gold (stats still the same they just look different), and creates a marble highway 500 yards wide from hell's gate to typhoon (chicago) and then from there to Devil's City (LA). The naxt day lady lilith surendered (he beheaded her and her avitars) and ashtart lead his armies (and lilith's) to attack lord magog in a pncer manuver which utterly wiped out magog and his army. but leaving his home city of hell's gate harbor undefended, the resistance took it over and dug in. Ten days later Ashtart returned to Hell's gate harbor (after transmuting typhoon and devil's city to match his new look, and posting minions in those places) he again displayed his phenominal power by utterly wiping out the resistance forces who were trying to keep him out (he did it all by himself). reports of the few who escaped by hiding state that after returning to his pallace (empire state building) he came back out raving like a lunatic and destroyed sevearl citty blocks before he calmed down. there have been no new displays of power by ashtart since.

5. Summer of 2017, there is a new president 'gregory harper' the first non-preserver party candidate to win since dark day. he is also the leader of a religion known as the wariors of peace (they teach passivism and power of positive thinking mostly...).
   There are rumors among the supernatural community (wizards, psychics, nightbanes, etc.) about an army of hounds led by a wizard attacking resistance fighters and anyone else they come across. According to the rumors injuries caused during these attacks never heal.

6. Early fall 2017, the rumors of the weapon that cannot be healed from still persist but there have been no reliable sightings of it in about a month or two. Those who claim to have been struck by it still have their injuries, even if they were nightbanes, and there is no known cure for them. The nightlords and their minions are searching for the weapon, the search seems to center around the Adorondack mountains and their nightlands equivalent.

7. Late fall 2017, there was an assassination attempt of vice president Christopher Zecheriah. The attack was made with some form of unknown heavy weapon, which reduced those it hit to a messy red pulp. However the secret service was able to get the VP to safety, and he was uninjured. No arrests were made in connection with the assassination attempt, but the investigation was closed. There are rumors that it was closed by order of the president, although president Harper and his administration refuse to comment on the matter stating only “it was a terrible tragedy, however we have no clues as to who the assassin might have been. All we can do is hope he does not try again.”

8. Early Winter 2018, Rumors circulate about an assassin known as ‘The kiss of death’. Little is known about this assassin and the rumors vary greatly, however most the rumors agree that the kiss of death is a woman, that she never leaves any witnesses alive, and that she always leaves behinds a business card with a kiss on it in blood red lipstick. Less reliable rumors claim that she has killed over 200 people (although sometimes that number is said as high as 100,000), that she is extremely beautiful (or terrifyingly hideous), that she always uses bladed weapons (some rumors say a sword), and that she is utterly invulnerable (the means by which she became invulnerable varies from rumor to rumor). The one thing that no one claims to know (although is speculated about widely) is who she is working for. There is some speculation that the kiss of death is actually several people, although the rumors all claim she is one person.

9. Early summer 2018, a nightlord City has been conquered by forces from earth, the city was the nightlands mirrior of Washington D.C., and has been renamed “Zion” by those who now live there. Rumors are running wild about how this feat was accomplished, however there are however a few facts that are known about the battle; a powerful nightlord attacked the nightlord who was ruling the city and killed him during the battle. Towards the end of the pattle all of the city’s hounds and hunters joined the human forces in battle against the other minions of the nightlords (and continue to work with them afterwards). And finnally the citty is now being controlled by secret service agents under the command of the vice president of the united states.

   
   Rumors are spreading about a rogue nightlord who is working with the forces of Zion, but no one knows for certain if there is a nightlord in Zion, or if there is what side he might be on. There are also rumors that The kiss of death played a part in the battle to take Zion, however no evidence has been found to support these rumors.

10. The rumors were partialy there was a Nightlady in Zion but she was not working with the city. She was planning to over throw it. She launched and assault on the city, her main objective, to get a great power source that was found underground. This power source helped Chris out greatly in maintaining the city and its defences. One of the ladies man operatives was the infamous Kiss Of Death, soon after the ladies defeat, in a mad rush to claim victory The Kiss Of Death rushed for the power source devouring it. Only to reveal herself as Naomi, Cindy's sister! Overwhealmed by the sudden surge of raw power Naomi was incapacitated, the Group Of Trouble Shooters took her back home. She is now starting to recover and everything has started to get back to a relaxing slow pace.
