Class Restrictions:
Armor- May wear no armor greater than chainmail.
Helms- A Ranger may not wear any kind of helmet.
Tracker- Trackers are the first and most basic class in the Path of the Ranger. They know little of the wilds save the basics of tracking.
Skills Gained:
Tracking- Be able to follow and track just about anything.
Forester- Foresters are a now at home in the woods and are beginning to understand and appreciate the Path of the Ranger. Not only can they track but they can avoid being seen and are damn near silent in the woods.
Skills Gained:
Blending- Foresters can use their natural surroundings to conceal and hide their movements.
Silent Approach- A Forester can approach with barely a sound.
Hunter- A Hunter is more at home in the wild than in any kind of city. He knows many traps to catch his food and knows how to avoid just about any trap set in the wild.
Skills Gained:
Set Trap- A Hunter can devise and set just about any kind of trap he wants in the wild.
Avoidance- A Hunter can spot and avoid nearly any kind of trap set in the wild.
Path Finder- A Path Finder is close to total harmony with nature and is completely devoted to his chosen path. The forest holds no secrets from him, and many paths that are closed to others are open to him.
Skills Gained:
Guidance- A Path Finder is never lost and knows many short cuts. (Travel one extra square.)
Animal Companion- A Path Finder can bond with an animal to accompany him in his travel.
Ranger- A Ranger is the master of the woods and is totally in harmony with nature and all that animals. He can read the subtle signs of nature and knows when an enemy approaches, and can even communicate with the beast of the wild. In addition to this he has overtime grown to favor a weapon and masters it totally.
Skills Gained:
Connection- Through his connection with Nature the Ranger can read the subtle signs and will know when an enemy approaches.
Animal Empathy- The Ranger has a strange understanding with animals and can communicate with them almost effortlessly. He can even call them to aid him in combat.
Weapon Focus- The Ranger may choose one weapon that he is a total master of.
