    -Those who are magically gifted follow the Path of the Mage. They are commonly called Mages, Wizards, and Sorcerers. No matter how strong a warrior is, not many things can compete with their magical skill. Many people don't trust magic and fear it completely.

    Restrictions:
    Weapons- Any Pole Arms and any blades under a Dirk. Nothing else.
    Armor- Nothing above Studded Leather
    Helms- Nothing greater than a Leather Cap
    Shields- Can not use anything greater than a Small Shield

    Apprentice- An Apprentice just knows the basics in magic. Most apprentices don't know how to even cast a spell. They learn ingredients, potions, and learn the basis of magics to further theirsleves later. Most Apprentices train under a master at an Academy of the Arcane.

    Skills Gained:

    Alchemy- An Apprentice can mix herbs and spices to make potions for good things and bad.

    Identify- Apprentices can see something and know if it is magical or enchanted.



    Mage- Mages are ready to use spells, but still under a watchful eye of their master. They have mastered chemicals and potions, they now use it to their advantage with their low level spells. When an Apprentice advances to a Mage they recieve a spellbook with many spells. But they can only decifer and use the spells of their level.

    Skills Gained:

    *Create Potion- A Mage can create new potions and chemicals.
    Animal Companion- A Mage must bond with an Animal to travel with through their life.
    Mage Spells- A Mage has been given a spellbook with some spells to use at their will.

    Wizard- A Wizard is through with his training and has the power to leave the Academy of the Arcane. He has a choose to either stay and train with fellow Mages or train in the world and adventure. Wizards have mastered the low level Mage spells and can read and use higher spells now.

    Skills Gained:

    Wizard Spells- A Wizard can now use and read higher spells in their spellbook.



    Archmage- An Archmage is now beginning to master the art of magic. They are pretty powerful and know much of magic combat. At this time, most Archmages stop adventuring to settle down and read their beloved spellbooks. Instead of constant adventure, they grow more powerful by studying.

    Skills Gained:

    Combat Casting- An Archmage can cast in combat easier without losing their concentration. Archmage Spells- Archmages can decifer and use more spells now in their spellbook.

    Sorcerer- A Sorcerer is the master of magic. They are few and far between. Sorcerer's are mostly found as masters of Academy of the Arcane with their Apprentices. By this time they have mastered their spellbook and get to choose from many schools to learn more powerful spells with.

    Skills Gained:

    *Create Spell- A Sorcerer can create spells through great concentration and long hours. Sorcerer Spells- A Sorcerer can now use all spells in their spellbook. Silent Spell- Sorcerers can now cast a spell without using words.
    Scroll Lore- Sorcerers can read any and all scrolls and take their spells from them.



    *Note: Just as a Mind Render, Psionic Warriors, and Bladesingers can create custom powers, a Sorcerer can come up with custom spells. All custom spells must be cleared by GM.
