The Bae'queshel are an ancient order of bards,
spellsingers who banded together for profit, working
as one to create a place for bards seeking help, or
perhaps just companionship.
They started when three very skilled bards founded an organization, to help inexperienced or down-on-their-luck bards by training them. This tradition kept, but changed somewhat-- or rather, was added to. By a secret art, they created magic instruments, things that could play beautiful music, even if the one playing it was not the best of bards.
The tradition of having three guildmasters continued. Whenever a guildmaster was dying or retired, he would choose his successor based upon their wisdom and skill. The current three guildmasters are Tel'thar, a Felinia, Entar, a High Elf, and Yrro, a Dark Elf.
Tel'thar, a Felinia, is a roguish sort of a fellow. He has a quick and darting wit-- not to mention hands-- and this is often directed at other people, with friendly practical jokes. He is quick to soothe the object though, made all the easier by the fact that his jokes are never malicious in nature. He is a skilled fighter, and his songs are wonderful and exotic to hear. He worships the Goddess of Night, his love of night and darkness showing through.
Entar, a High Elf, takes his art very seriously, and is often solitary in his room, practicing his music or writing a new song. He is somewhat serious compared to his fellow guildmasters, and his songs are often very solemn or tragic. He worships the Goddess of Seasons, realizing that song is like to the seasons.
Yrro, a Dark Elf, is very charming and beautiful, which she uses to her advantage whenever possible. She is a bit more on the Evil side than Tel'thar or Entar, worshipping the God of Death. She is, however, a very skilled Bard, a great dancer and singer. Her fighting skills are up to par, also.
When a person that follows the Path of the song wants to be in the Bae'queshel Guild they have to go through two levels. When they get accepted in, they are called Bae's. Once they gain experience and become a Bard they move up to the Bae'quesh level.
