Here I'll talk about the modelling contest that I take part of. Until now, I took part in two contests. And all came from the Planet Dungeon Siege Web site and last for one month or two and always have something to do with Dungeon Siege.

The subject of the first in which I took part was to model a character who was to represent the incorporation of a certain element, an emotion, one season, or another kind of force which is above humanity in a sence. Thus it can be the representation of evil, the incorporation of heat, the true form of beauty or something in between!
The limits of the contest was 1500 polygons and a texture of 512 X 512 pixels maximum.
Here is model ; I called it "Hell Spawn" it has a polycount of 1076. What does it represent? Evil, Hell...
I got one vote out of 24.

The subject of the second contest was to create an armour set; a body armour, and two other objects like gloves, boots or a helmet.
The limits for this contest was 650 polygons and a texture of 640 X 640 pixels maximum.
My model is based on film the Matrix it has 642 polygons. I made Neo's trench coat, his boots and his sunglasses.
I got one vote out of 22.
