* Mondo_Gecko is standing ontop of the building.. he's fairly drunk.. polished off most of a bottle of red wine himself.. wearing a white collared shirt, only two buttons done near the top and a pair of black slacks, boxers peaking over the edge..

* After a few minutes, she's leveled out and they give the A-OK

* `Mitch , feeling less than hot, consults a ring-binder in his lower arms, flicking through a thick sheaf of printouts as he carefully plots out points on a giant piece of paper spread across the far wall

* Elyce's eyes flash open, almost a hungry look. "Twins? Children?"

* Mondo_Gecko pulls Kuroi upstairs

* Shingami heads back to the roof to continue her kata

<Mitch> Quietly. "Hi, Aria..." He cranes his neck, leaning over and grokking the wall clock. "One in the morning... hope I didn't wake you..."

* Revelyn blinks and arches his brows, then narrows his eyes a little, watching her warily* ...aye...

<AriaStormsinger> "How come you don't sleep?"

* `KuroiTenshi leads mondo to his bed and pushes him onto it

<Elyce> (fiercely) So many worlds...take their children for granted...

* Mitch shrugs. "I catch up... get a few hours here and there... never been a heavy sleeper."

* Revelyn nods a bit...* Ah...aye...not the people in this place though...there has been too much loss to not care for and cherish their children.

<Mitch> "How're you feeling?"

* Elyce nods.

<AriaStormsinger> Better. Weak. It's sore to breathe, but it's okay.

<Elyce> When will the little ones be home?

<Revelyn> I believe another month or two...they came early...they needed to be cut out of her in order to survive...

* `KuroiTenshi climbs on top of him, stradling his chest. she takes his head in both hands, using her power to cool his blood like a cold compress

* Elyce winces slightly and turns away.

<Mitch> "Yeah... can't blame you... you got anything you want me to tell the Asylum?"

<Elyce> Revelyn...when the time comes...

* AriaStormsinger blinks. "Not yet."

<`KuroiTenshi> *w* you ok, gecko?? what made you drink so much? u celebrating something??

* AriaStormsinger watches him, curiously, but not the kind of open curiosity he's so familiar with

* Revelyn watches her, listening, brows furrowed...* ...aye...?

<Mitch> "Okay..." He glances up, blinks suddenly, rubs his neck as his eyes go a little vague. "What part of Brazil you from again?"

<Elyce> If there is another opportunity to strike at a being like Soo'ah, would you accept it?

* Revelyn nods...* If it means preventing more pain...aye...I would.

<AriaStormsinger> The northwest. Near Muracao. I can show you on a map.

<Mitch> "Near... uh... can you spell that?"

* Elyce gives him an approving look.

* Revelyn smiles a bit, a bit of sadness to it

<Mondo_Gecko> no time like the present to start killing yourself slowly

* Revelyn arches a brow and nods* Aye...why?

* Mondo_Gecko puts it in the ashtray

* AriaStormsinger 's look goes suddenly sad, and open again, and relieved, and concerned.

* `KuroiTenshi sighs

<Mitch> Quietly. "Not all..." He sighs, shaking his head and switching to Spanish - really. "Aria... very few parts of the city are healthy. Some of the disease has stayed with me. There's a cure, but it's not a simple one. It's taking time, and pain. I won't be at peace for a long time. Even if the cure succeeds... the symptoms will remain."

* Mondo_Gecko starts to gently run his hands over her sholder, one leg bend up..one straight out against the headboard of his bed

* AriaStormsinger looks close to tears.

<`KuroiTenshi> it's ok, though. i've always been sort of a night owl.

<AriaStormsinger> <w> What's the cure?

<Mitch> "To bring fear to the disease."

<Mitch> "To make it believe that to infect me would be its own damnation."

* AriaStormsinger 's eyes light up and she gives Mitch a quick, wondering look. "Is it a dark being?"

<Mondo_Gecko> Then you and Eki will get along just fine

<Mitch> He blinks. "A what?"

* `KuroiTenshi runs her fingers through his hair, freezing it in place to make funky spikes

<Elyce> I...have new power...or new use of power...it has been restored to me.

* Elyce lays a hand upon her lower abdomen, over her hara/center, wondering expression, half-grief half-awe.

<AriaStormsinger> A dark being. Like the one that was in Javier, and the others that died.

* Revelyn furrows his brows, nodding a little, kinda taking on that distant look to look at her aura

<Mitch> .oO(Could he...? You got a ghost in you, Tyler?) .oO(Nah... remember, Mitch, we got human monsters too. You ain't never seen him busting out with witchy-fingers. Just hostile takeovers.)

<Mitch> He shakes his head slowly. "No. Not like that."

* Revelyn nods a little, brows knit* <q> I see...

<Elyce> I know not what they do. They were my birthright -- but under Soo'ah.

<AriaStormsinger> Elyce....

<Elyce> I'd like to test them in a safe place.

<AriaStormsinger> Let me know if I can help? *pats Mitch slowly with a hand*

* Revelyn nods...* Aye...we can go to the roof, if you wish...i do not know of many open places in this city...

* Elyce nods. "Tomorrow night, perhaps?"

<Revelyn> Aye...

<Mitch> .oO(Of course I'll put you in danger! Right after, y'know, I jam my head into this tank of POISON ANTS.) "Yeah..." His lip twitches.

* AriaStormsinger closes her eyes.

<Mitch> "Rest, Aria..." He turns the hand over, squeezing hers for a moment - then blinks. "Meeting? We?"

<AriaStormsinger> <q> Mmm. It's --

<AriaStormsinger> ...I'll let you know more later.

* AriaStormsinger looks up with half-open eyes.

* Elyce bows to Revelyn. "Good luck with your training, friend. I thank you for your assistance..."

* Mitch frowns a little, but doesn't push it. "...okay. You gonna be all right?"

<AriaStormsinger> I'm very all right.

* Revelyn bows in return* It is not a problem, m'lady. Rest well.

* Elyce nods and heads out, climbing the stairs to the room she was given. She pauses at Shingami's door, then shakes her head and moves on.

<AriaStormsinger> Have you seen Diana yet?

* Mitch nods, pushing himself up a little tiredly - that bed was growing on him.

* Revelyn goes back to training for a while before heading upstairs himself...showering before joining Ryu for the night

<Mitch> "No... I was gonna check on her next... she'd better be asleep, though." He looks down at her. "You too, y'know. You need to rest..."

* AriaStormsinger nods carelessly.

<AriaStormsinger> Maybe you should sleep with Diana tonight.

* Mitch just kind of blinks, then correlates the sentence with its source and puts it aside. "Nah. There's only one bed in there."

<AriaStormsinger> You could get hte nurses to bring you one.

<AriaStormsinger> Besides...you're resourceful.

<AriaStormsinger> I'll bet you'd sleep on the floor...

<Mitch> "Yeah, I guess. I don't wanna make trouble, though."

<AriaStormsinger> oh...

<Mitch> "I'm gonna head back to the Asylum after that, really... so I'll see you 'round..."

* AriaStormsinger nods weakly, bandage on neck coming loose.

* Mitch half-smiles, a little tired, a little stiff, a little troubled, before slipping out - assuming she didn't just spring a leak or something

* Mitch heads over to Site A: Diana's Asleep Or Something

* Diana's asleep (or something) <G>*

* Mitch spends a few minutes shamelessly reading the chart - he's finding those things are handy - and communing, sending get-well-dammits in her direction

* Diana's sloooooooooooooooooooooooowly sloooooooooooooooooooooowly getting better...chart should reflect that <G>*

* Diana sure dooes look pretty sleepin' though <G>*

* Mitch , a little stubbornly, remains altruistic, sitting by the bed and looking down at his glasses

* Diana sleeps serenely*

<Mitch> .oO(If you just had your memories... Christ, you could go vampire and heal that way. I'm sure there's some power you've got. Roll a fucking Red Cross.)

<Mitch> .oO(Damn, she's serene. Focus. So she lost her memories on the astral plane. There's got to be a way to bring them back. Maybe... shit, I don't even know if I could hook up right.)

<Mitch> *sighs* .oO(Dammit, Kimora-san! You had to go and tell me that she'd feel it. That it would help...)

* Mitch shakes his head, flicking open the glasses and pushing them on... he stands, touching her hand gently, and slips out

<Mitch> .oO(Once you're rested. We'll see.)

* Diana's...hand twitches a little, brows knitting lightly when he leaves*

* Mitch heads to Site D! Almost typed Side D.

* HappyLittleMoron 's sitting up with Brenna, watching the twins and soothingly rocking her daughter

* Mitch pushes open the door, poking his head in. Quietly, "It's damn near two in the morning... go to sleep."

* HappyLittleMoron grins tiredly* <q> I was...Brenna had another nightmare...the trials of motherhood...

<Mitch> "Another?" He slips in, door closing silently behind him with the edge of one palm.

* HappyLittleMoron nods, stroking the little girl's hair, Brenna purrs very lightly, looking exhausted, barely asleep...

<HappyLittleMoron> <q> Flashbacks of her time with Teirnan I think...

<Mitch> *nods* "Uh. I don't wanna wake her, but you want her back at the Asylum?"

* HappyLittleMoron shakes her head, grinning tiredly* <q> Nah...don't want her away from Klork and I anymore...thanks though, Mitch...I really appreciate it...

<Mitch> *shrugs a little embarassedly* "Yeah, don't blame you. Klork doing okay?"

* HappyLittleMoron smiles* <q> Yeah...guy's worn out, but he seems really happy...

* Mitch nods, craning his head to look in on the twins...

* they both be sleepin'! <G> riiiilly tired...etcetcetec*

* HappyLittleMoron grins softly as she watches him and the twins

<Mitch> .oO(What're you tired for? What've you done, huh?)

* Takeo yawns and opens his eyes a little...gazing up at Mitch and blinnking...*

* Takeo gives him a look like "Who're you and what're those weird things on yer face?"*

* Mitch straightens up... quietly, "I'm gonna get out of here before I wake anyone up... anything you wanna pass on to the folks at home?"

* HappyLittleMoron shakes her head* <q> Sides "hi" and "get better" to Nox and crew, no...how're the other hospital folk doing?

* HappyLittleMoron reaches in to gently stroke Takeo's belly, trying to sooth him back to sleep...which he does after a few moments, his soft purr filling the air

<Mitch> "Aria's off the lung... she's breathing on her own now... guess she wants to talk to the Asylum along the line. Evy's in and out of consciousness... Diana's..." *slight shrug* "...getting there."

* HappyLittleMoron nods...* Well...at least they're recovering slowly, right? That's a good thing...*smiles to Mitch* Thanks for running around and keeping tabs on everyone so well...it helps more than you'll ever know...

<Mitch> He shrugs, a little embarassedly, looking down at Brenna. "It's the least I can do... y'know, really the least."

* HappyLittleMoron nods, smiling a bit* It doesn't go unappreciated, though...trust me, Mitch...you're weaseling your way into a lot of hearts around here...

* Mitch just kind of stiffens at this. "...I'm gonna get going."

* HappyLittleMoron nods..* Take care....

* Mitch slips out, tugging the cap further down on his eyes. .oO(...maybe he was right... Christ... I'm not doing this to get on anyone's good side, goddammit! I'm just... I just want to... god...)

* Mitch , more than a little disturbed by this, heads on back to the Asylum
