* Shingami turns a golden gaze up to Nataku, watchign him, the great warrior of justice, shudder

<Shingami> Back to the monostery... you and Sand Rock keep up your attack.
<Shingami> with the strom hes created this will look like a natural dizaster, dakara, your dragon will make them all seem crazy. all who need to die are dead, now to gain my freedome
* Shingami takes off into the thunderstrom SandRock created to start their fight and heads in the direction of the monostry
* Said monastery, of course, being about 100 miles upstate from Manhattan.
* Mondo_Gecko is back on his bed now. He's streatched out, softly strumming his guitar...wondering where that girl went...will she come back?
* Shingami pulls off one of thsoe cool space foldign menuvers, basicaly openig nportals as she goes to cover more .. airspace faster
* Mitch is... in limbo, he's got a backlog of scenes to attend to :P
* Shingami circles the monostery a few times lookign for a clear place to land
* Shingami eye's glow gold color now, rather then cobalt blue everything abotu her now is totaly different from the shin everyone else knows. for this reason none of the other guardians dare interfear.
* A few candles glow in the windows of the monastery. A cool breeze rustles the tall pines.
* Shingami lands in one of the cortyards, folding her wings behind her. Her skin is staiend with blood, it drips omr her wings, her face holds no emotions, oen single cut beneath ehr left eye still bleeds
<Shingami> Haruo!
<Harou> Silence.
<Shingami> HARUO! Get out here!
* Mondo_Gecko sings softly "And you bring me to my knees...yea.. all the times when I could bed you please. All the times when I felt insecure..and I lay..my burdens at your door..
* Continued silence, though one of the candles reaches the bottom of its wick and blows out*
* Shingami starts walking aorund serchign for Haruo
<Mondo_Gecko> All this time that I felt like this won't end, was for you... And I taste what I could never have..it's from you. All those times that I tried, my intentions full of pride. And I waste more time than anyone
* Shingami draws a sword keepign itout as she serches
* Shin passes several monks, none of whom acknowledge her.
* Shingami stops and turns to the monks
<Shingami> *in japanese* You there... where is Haruo?
* One of the three monks turns slowly and gives her a reproving look, then shuffles over to the other two. They disappear into a doorway off tothe right of the courtyard.
* Candles flicker from teh shrine room. Several more monks are kneeling within.
* Shingami goes adn peeks in at the shrine
* An aura of silent, inward peace is settled in the sacred space. The scent of incense complements the ancient oak, stone and pine breezes that sift through the room.
* Shingami snorts and closes the shrine door then goes to stand in the cortyard, sword still in hand, the occasional soud of blood dripping form the tip of the blade the only thign betrayign ehr silence
* Haruo is standing in the courtyard behind her when she turns back.
<Shingami> Ah.. Haruo... I told you I'd come back.
<Haruo> And what is it you want of us, now that you return bearing blood?
<Shingami> I came to ask to be set free of the bond you ahve created that ties me here.
<Shingami> and i come to you As your precious Spirit Woman... I coem to you as the Shinigami...
<Shingami> Haruo... why did you bring me to this place.... was it for WHO I am... or WHAT i am?
* Haruo gives Shingami a scrutinizing look. "The two are one."
* Shingami laughs
<Shingami> baka... we reside int he same body but i asure you that we are no the same
<Shingami> the woman you want is not one who does well in captivity, she has a deep sence of responsability, duty... and strogn emotions that tie her to the Asylum and its inhabatence.
<Shingami> She follows her heart and protects thsoe who it reaches out to

<Shingami> I do what must be done. thsoe who threaten the ways of life of the people i have sworn to protect must be delt with.
<Shingami> Do you have any idea how...wonderful the feel of flesh agsitn this sword is? the rush of battel and the pure joy of victory?

* Shingami pulls her braid aorund front and rests it on the blade of the sword

<Shingami> but if you choose to keep her then you must remove her freedome from her totaly

* Mondo_Gecko gets up and sighs
* Haruo meets her gaze calmly, a little coldly. "It is as you wish."
* Haruo bows stiffly.
* Shingami nods... then with a quick tug.. cuts a foot off her braid, and it bleeds...
* Haruo watches without apparent reaction

<Nataku> *lands on the roof above the cortyard and just watches*
* Haruo walks off, going to the shrine doors and stepping within.
* Shingami blinks confused
* He returns a moment later, Shige trailing him.

* Shige's eyes light up at the sight of Shingami.

* Shige watches, eyes wide.

* Shige and Haruo bow to the two spirit-creatures.

* Shingami kneels and offers the severed braid, head bowed
* Mondo_Gecko goes through his things and finds the best spiked collar he has and snaps it on

* Shige takes a deep breath and trades cross for braid, which he holds with something between revulsion and fearful respect
* the instant he touches the braid it stops bleeidng, becoems alsmto metalic but still hair.. it feels liek ti contians a great hiden pwoer jsut in tha tpiece, and gives off a warm glow, since it is a piece of the shin everyoen knows, the carign side
