Dinning Hall

You begin to enter the space between the pillars....

As you walk through to the other side of the refecoty you see a large fireplace directly in front of you. Several stools are standing on a red rug in front of the fireplace. At the north end of the room is a table with benches around it. At the south end of the room is another table but this one has a chess board lying on top of it. Two people are sitting near the board, contemplating their strategies to beat one another.

As you moves your gaze across the giant hall, you get a warm, welcome feeling as several people smile at you. The people here are simply enjoying their meals and conversing. Several people are clustered together on the stools while a woman stands in front of them reciting poetry from a book.

Soon your gaze moves back towards the pillars and you note someone you had not seen when you came in. A tall man with long soft blonde hair pull back in a ponytail is leaning against the northern pillar, enjoying a tankard of mead. He clothing is blue and white and made of a little fancier materials than what you are normally allowed, telling you he is of slighty higher station. Upon his hips rests two scabbards containing weapons. The first, a long green scabbard and the second, a short silver colored one.

In the middle of his chest is a key in the shape of a setting sun, dangling from a brass chain around his neck. On each arm he bears a band. The one on his left arm is green, trimmed in silver. You note that its mark is that of a clenched fist. The other is an armband made of silver, engrave with a tree. As he lifts his tankard for a sip, you note a gold ring on his finger that seems of some importance.

Suddenly his eyes shift and he gives you a curious glance and smile. In a gentle low voice he introduces himself, "Hello. I do not believe we have met before. I am Harabec." With that you respond with a "Hello" and "Well met."

You then turn and walk towards the north table where you are to have a seat. As you glance back towards to pillar you notice that Harabec is no longer standing there. You glance around the hall and do not see him, just the friendly faces of those around you.
