Android 17 was one of the two devastating androids in the future. But when Future Trunks went back in time, 17 was released again but even stronger. He was absorbed by cell but soon wished back afterwards. After that he lives in the woods alone but soon came out again. 17 is the most arrogant and evil of the androids. He seems to have no feeling and kills anything in his way. He also seems to be a leader for the androids.
