Riyaleer landed once again on the ground. Evolving back to Hokava, the golden eagle sighed and landed on Evan's shoulder. Looking over to the others, he shouted out. " Hey! Shouldn't we be going somewhere and not just staying here. We're getting no where!" Turning away from Giselle and her bleeding unicorn, Taran faced Evan. Locking her eyes on his, she replied," If I'm not mistaken, you arrived here much later than needed. Actually, we don't need you and your duck. So, if you can't make any helpful contributions rather than just talking, could you stay quiet?" Evan was taken back. This haughty girl had the nerve to stand up to him. Though Evan wasn't a very dominating person, he knew when to step away from trouble. Raising his hands up, he stepped backwards in a defensive position. "Hey. I didn't ask for any trouble. All I said was that maybe instead of staying around like sitting bulls, we should actually go somewhere and finish off what we came here to do." Taran was on the brink of an attack. Her body was thrust forward and she was just about ready to let go when she felt herself being jerked backwards. Looking back, she saw that Moro had grabbed a hold of her pants. " Taran. You do not want to do this. We must not fight for we are a team." A flint of anger flashed through Moro's eyes. Then whispering to her she continued. " Now if it were that worthless rug over there.... then things would be different." Hokava tensened. " DOG!" He yelled. " If you have anything important to say, say it to my face and not like a coward!" Soaring up into the sky, the eagle let out a scream. Moro let go of Taran and immediately launched herself into the air after the eagle. " I AM NOT A DOG!" she howled. The second Taran was free, she propelled herself into Evan. Knocking him down, she rammed her hands into his shoulders and held him down. Her hair was ruffled and she breathed in ragged gasps as she kneeled over him. A couple yards behind her Moro had clawed out to slash at Hokava's wing yet she couldn't quite reach. Falling back to the ground, the pallid wolf landed noiselessly with better reflexes and gracefulness a cat could never achieve. Ignoring what Hayden said, she answered back to Riley, "Well at least Hayden is being useful to the group." Then pointing to Taran Erica said, " She's just pissing everybody off, it would be a plus if she and her puppy dog that thinks its a wolf were kicked out of group. Anyway who are the other people here????????" Seeing Evan's problem, Hokava dodged Moro's attack. Angle-ing his wings, the eagle descended towards Evan. The eagle crashed into Taran, knocking her off Evan. Evan got up as the eagle landed next to him. Erica stepped in-between Eagleboy and Wolfgirl and said, "Do you really have nothing better to do than fight? And if you don't, then GET A LIFE! Oh, and WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHO THESE FRICKIN PEOPLE ARE? Evan brushed himself off, and Hokava landed on his outstretched arm. With an exasperated tone, he replied, "I'm Evan, and my companion is Hokava." Evan walked over to Riley, since she seemed to be the only person who didn't get into fights. Taran cursed at the interfering girl under her breath, and said, "It's Taran, not wolf girl, and she's Moro," before walking away. "We really have to STOP fighting!" Riley yelled. "this is the like, what, the 10th battle? We're a team and we better start acting like one. And Evan is right. We should get moving." She sighed. "Okay, Erica, the girl over there is Keiara and Tyano. The other girl is Giselle and K’Mara. I know you've met Hayden and the horse is Akkara or Hovara. The other guy is Luke and Sieno and the fox, my companion, is Tiais or Caliana." "You all really should stop fighting," Keiara agreed. "And we should leave tomorrow when its light out." She walked over to the new girl. "Hi, I'm Keiara as Riley told you. "I just got here too but I think the others have been here for a bit longer. The panther's Tyano, my companion." she smiled at the girl, her amethyst eyes shining. The panther stared at the mop-like creature, "What the heck are you?" he asked disapprovingly. "I eat things like you for breakfast." He gave the creature a disdainful look. Hayden glared at the new girl. "Why should we listen to you? You just got here which gives you no right to boss us around. I'll leave if I want and fight if I want." she turned to Erica. "Same goes for you. I'm not listening to anyone especially two little preps like you who think you're all that." Riley sighed. "Not again," she thought. "Hayden, can you at least try to cooperate? I know this sounds sappy and that you've heard it a million times but we're a team. We have to save Savoya together. It won't work with just one person; we need everyone." She turned to the group. "We're going to need a leader. Any suggestions?" "Like I even care about what you want or don't want to do, you could go kill yourself for all I care. You couldn't tell a random person from a prep if the words prep were branded on the latter one's forehead." Erica said while looking straight into Hayden's eyes. 'What a bratty talkative pipsqueak. So this is what those people who talk a lot without any clue what they're saying are like. I hope she'll take a hike. ' she thought to her self, turning her gaze back up from Hayden younger figure to Keiara. By her side Kyriana muttered still thinking about Tyano, "Like he's even seen 'things like me' ". "Some way to make friends," Erica replied to the new girl. Then not wanting to start more fights added, "I'm Erica and this is Kyriana a cavy," she smirked at the panther. She couldn't know how the panther had any idea what a cavy was, being that they didn't even share the same habitat, but maybe things were different in Savoya or wherever the companions had come from anyway. "You're right about staying here for the night, but if your stuck-up companion here doesn't treat my companion graciously, were two more you won't be making friends with." Erica turned to Kyriana apologetically, "I would choose you over a stuck-up panther any day. I didn't see him fight a moment ago". Kyriana just replied, "Look it doesn't matter, you'll probably be hearing that a lot, so please just learn not to care about it, it'll turn you into a better person than you are, and than they are. So please try and be just a little bit nicer." Erica sighed and nodded. Kyriana was right, but from the twinkle in her companion's eyes she could tell the rabbit was smiling. Erica turned to Riley, "You? You seem to get into fights the least." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Kyriana nod in agreement. She thought, "If Hayden or Keiara is picked leader, I'm leaving for good, who cares where." Hayden jumped on top of the older girl. "I don't give a damn about whether or not you die either so why don't I just kill you," she growled. She kneed her in the stomach and punched her in the face. "This is the thanks I get for saving your stupid mop? I should let her die next time." Akkara sighed. "Deja vu," she thought. Once again she dragged the girl off of Erica. "Hey, what's wrong with me? I didn't do anything." she glared at the other girl. "I was trying to be nice. Tyano might have been a bit mean but he is a panther and I can't blame him. I had no idea what your companion was and panthers do eat creatures like that." Luke sighed as Hayden got into another fight and once again the fire-horse stopped it. He turned to Riley. "I think you should be the leader. You've haven't gotten into fights and seem to be the peacemaker. Plus you've been here the longest. Sorta." he grinned. ""oh, stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!" Giselle squealed. "All of you! This is awful! Violence is not the answer." she sounded very sappy indeed there. "You all think YOU have problems? You're arguing over silly things like, 'You're a prep and I'm a punk and you don't know the definition of the word prep and rah dee da!!!' Look at me!!!!!!!!!" she did look terrible, her arms all torn and her hair a mess. She was being very childish just then, but she was sort of shaken from the fight. Teary eyed, she continued, "Everybody, if we can't shape up, we'll all do the snap cup again. I love the snap cup "Hi!!!!!!!!!" Giselle said randomly to Erica. "I don't think I ever got a chance to say hihi 2 u!!!!!!!! Well, hi!!!!!!!!!" she grinned happily. personally," she said. "But I wish we could all just stop...fighting over silly things." Riley turned to Erica and Luke. "Do y'all really think I’d be a good leader?" she asked, not quite sure. "Evan ,Giselle, Keiara, what do you think?" Erica stood up quickly, but glanced at Kyriana. They exchanged smiles, and Erica still smiling with raised eyebrows simply said, "'Cause you can't. Also, didn't you just say yourself that you didn't want any thanks for it? Plus, it's cowardly to attack someone when there back is turned. Since I've arrived you’ve been in about five fights, and if you attack me again, Im not going to hold my temper either". She turned to Keiara and thought, What a stupid person, cavies couldn’t even survive in the same habitat as a panther., but she just replied, Im sorry, that was stupid of me to break my temper out on you, she said non-sarcastically, though she did glance at Hayden quickly. But do you really think you can defend your companion, but if he insults my companion, I cant? Turning to who Riley had said was Giselle, she had to grin, Hi, she replied, but Im not quite ready to meet any more people right now,. Talk to you later though, I hope. Annoyed very much, by the people in this new place, Erica left. She appreciated that Kyriana stayed, knowing she only wanted to be left alone for a while. She walked to some fruit trees ahead of her, and ate peacefully. The wind blew, and she thought with closed eyes, this would be perfect for windsurfing. Though she did like rock-climbing, her favorite sports were cross-country and windsurfing. Up above, stars had already taken their place in the sky. Swinging her self higher, she wanted to get closer to them. She finally rested her back against the trunk of the tree, and listened to the wind sighing. She sang softly to herself- a song she had heard herself sing on the radio back at home. It was about the sea. Kyriana said, "Speaking for Erica, HELL YEAH, not that either of us have met all the others yet. But can you be allowed to stop other people fighting or shut them up, when you become leader? " "STOP FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!" screamed Giselle. "Nobody should be killing anybody here: we all work together." then she added offishly, "Does anybody have a hairbrush?" "Oh and by the way, I can't move until I get a hairbrush," said Giselle brattily. Hayden rolled her eyes. "Oh yes, we all have hairbrushes that we're happy to give you," she told Giselle sarcastically. "Get real. We all were suddenly transported here. Do you think we brought a brush?" "She's right you know," Riley told Giselle. "I'm going to find Erica." She ran through the woods until she found the other girl. "Hi," she told her. "I know you probably want to be alone or something but we're a team and you can't jsut run off. I bet you haven’t had the best impression of us though most people are really nice." she smiled at her. ""Well I was only WONDERING," whined Giselle. "This is great. This is juuuust great! Now, I have to comb my hair, usually so gorgeous with my FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!" she snarled. "K'Mara, do you have some..uhm...magic power that could help make me at least presentable?" she was clearly very distraught and not used to being such a mess. "If only," sighed the unicorn. "Get on my back, Giselle, you look sooo tired." ""Let's get moving," commanded Giselle as she mounted the beautiful animal. "If we're lucky, we'll find someone with half the decency to give me a hairbrush and some..." she stared in dismay at her now ruined miniskirt. "Clothes. This is sooo different," she sighed, "But it's an adventure anyway!!!!" brightening slightly, she commanded, "Let's go, everyone! Why don't we all sing a song?" she then burst into "My Heart Will Go On." Erica stared. As mean as she and the other girls had been, she had never met someone who was so nice. She began to wonder if nothing would ever stop her from being nice. Not meaning that in a bad way of course, because she was beginning to like Riley very much. She turned her stare into a smile and climbed down, putting the song off for another time. When she reached the ground, she replied, "I wasn't going to be gone for long, but I guess your right. I haven't been the nicest person either. Sorry. Has anyone else said anything about you being the leader, because you really should be it." Here she paused, then added thoughtfully, "By the way, fruit isn't the best for quenching thirst, is there a river or something nearby? I suppose no one has any drinks on them here." Taran straightened and cleared her throat. "Now that we decided on a leader, maybe we should make/find some shelter, in case it rains, and get some sleep. With humorous irony, it began to rain. As the rain sprinkled on Moro's coat it seemed as if the tension lifted off her body. She leaped into the air, snapping at the rain in delight. Throwing herself back, she pawed at the air. "Moro you look like a puppy, quit it!" But, Taran, seeing how happy her companion was joined in leaping and howling. "Aroooooooooooooooooo!" As the rain fell, Erica said to Riley, "This is perfect, now I don't have to find a river anymore." Half-serious and half-jokingly, she raised her head back, trying to catch some rain drops on her tongue. Looking over to the group she saw Taran, the girl she had been fighting with earlier, and Moro dancing in the rain. "That's something you don't see everyday." Her feelings of hatred toward the two were lifting, and she was moving into a good mood still smiling. She saw Giselle looking distraught on top of her unicorn companion K'mara, and dashed towards them with a call of "C'mon!" to Riley. Slowing down as she approached the girl, she said, "Hi! I'm sorry about earlier, are you okay?" But before Giselle had time to answer, Erica spotted a white flash streaking towards her, and only realized it was Kyriana when it stopped under the unicorn. "K'mara, you don't mind if I stand under you, do you, water is very bad for my coat, and it's easy for me and rabbits in general to get sick from the rain. I'll have to find a hollow near the bottom of a tree or something!" ""Of course not!!!!!!!!" said the unicorn. "I sympathize, although the rain enriches my own coat beautifully." K'Mara shook her mane with considerable pride. "I'm okay, I just wish I had a hairbrush," Giselle sniffled as she stopped singing. "OOOH! I can dance ballet!" Just then, she leaped into a series of terribly complicated ballet movements as mud squelched underneath her feet and droplets of rain washed the dirt off her face. “We learned how to be...graceful when I was training ot be a model," she explained, and once again began singing. "How can we sleep when we're watching ME doing ballet?" said Giselle half jokingly. She flipped her hair, tattered as it was, and attempted to comb through it while in the middle of a pirouette. "Oooh, ick, it's so muddy here!" she giggled. Evan was really tired by now and he swayed dangerously on his feet. Opening his eyes ever so slightly, he looked down at his watch. 10:30 pm. Hokava jumped down from his shoulder perch and waddled over to a clump of over-hanging trees. Evan chuckled. The eagle threw a nasty glance at him. " I'm not meant for such meager means of transportation." After sighing and shaking off the rain, the eagle went on. Spotting a clump of reed like plants, he hop-skipped over to them. Taking a group in his talons, he was surprised how strong yet. Surprisingly, they were very supple. Tearing them from the tree, the bird complained. " Aren't you going to help?" Evan sprang to assistance and soon enough, there was a large pile of reeds at his feet. Spreading his glistening wings, Hokava lifted slightly from the earth. "Now Evan, grab some of those plants and follow me. I am going to bring together some branches and you will tie them together at the center so they form a canopy. This way," he ruffled his wings," I can stay dry." Pulling branches together from two different trees, Hokava waited as Evan tied the branches together. Shaking them, he was pleased that they were sturdy and withstanding. Doing this again, he made a tree branch canopy that was large enough to fit everyone under. Cupping his hands around his mouth he yelled out," I got our sleeping place ready!" Giselle stopped dancing long enough to look over in the direction of the boy's calls. "Good job!!!!!!" she squealed delightedly. "Now if only we could find a mall around here so I could buy some new clothes for tomorrow!!!!!!" K'Mara said to the rabbit, "Here, you can find shelter underneath our sleeping place." The unicorn, who found delight in the rain, stood with her head gazing skyward outside the makeshift shelter, tossing her velvety mane. Erica turned to Evan, "Brilliant! Though, don’t you think we should have two? I mean there probably wont be enough room to fit us all, and if there is, we will probably want to have 2 anyway, one for boys, and one for girls." Kyriana thanked K'mara and streaked under the newly made shelter. "Personally, I don't mind it," Luke replied, grinning at Hayden. Hayden gave Luke a disgusted look. "Sick pervert," she answered. "Oh yes," Riley told Luke, "You really hate her." She smirked. Luke grinned at Riley, a mischievous look in his eye. "Why do you care so much, Riley," he teased. "Are you by any chance jealous?" Riley stifled a laugh. "In your dreams, lover-boy." "Come on," he joked, "Aren't you a little jealous that I like Hayden and not you?" "Aha!" Riley cried. "You admit it. And I don't like you. Get over it." Luke put a hurt look on his face. "Fine. Be that way. I don't like you any way." He tried to hide a smile. Riley grinned. She walked away from the others and sat on a wet stump. She turned her face toward the sky and closed her eyes. "I love the rain," she muttered to herself. “Why don't we put this to a vote, who wants to have the boys sleep seperately? "What is Evan and his companion don't want to make another shelter?" Riley asked, coming back to the group. "They are the only one who knows how to make it. An easy solution is girls on one side and boys on the other seperated by a companion." "Right, but stay on your own side, or get kicked out to sleep in the rain," she glared threatingly at Luke, then went to join Kyriana. "Hey, babe, don't worry. I'm not the least bit interested in you." he smirked and smiled at Riley and Hayden. She saw Riley grin and Hayden roll her eyes. Keiara laughed then sighed. Luke reminded her so much of....." No. Don't think about it," she scolded. "Kei, let's go," Tyano commanded. She winced at the name. "Keiara not Kei," she replied coldly. "Kei was what HE called me," she thought. Erica laughed, "I have better guys on my mind back home, so should we turn in?" "And don't call me babe". She tried to fight off a thought haunting the corner of her mind, but instead of going away it came with full force. She burst out laughing again. "You remind me of someone I once knew, who was really quite...... interesting." This was not true. The person she was thinking about was just plain..... stupid? Oh well, she thought, no need to waste any more time. "Hey, Keiara......, are you alright?" Erica was going to ask what she could call Keiara, but realized this was not the right time for that question, with one glance at Keiara's face.
