Lurea awoke to the nowhere near musical sound of Aidan screaming at Cherry and she groaned. Upon opening her eyes she found herself face to face with Titterama. Confused, she blinked quickly before sitting up with surprising speed, accidentally knocking Titterama Square in the jaw.

Her mind raced. The last thing she remembered was trying to picture her parents when they were young and happy. She knew she had been sitting on a fallen tree in the forest by a small creek, how had she ended up lying near the great tree in the middle of the clearing where she had met her quarrelsome "companions". "What happened?!?!" she half shouted, distress emphasizing the importance of her words.

Jenna heard someone singing "Tourniquet". "How random is that!" Jenna thought. Evanescence was her favorite singer; she loved Amy Lee's voice.

She sang to herself the last part, "My wounds cry for the grave, my soul cries for deliverance. Will I be denied CHRIST Tourniquet, my suicide.

Fingering a gold cross on a chain around her neck, she secretly promised her LORD to be kinder. She went over to Josaphine. "Hey, sorry about that, I should have controlled my bad mood. I'm not very good at that," Jenna grinned and held out her hand. Suddenly concerned, she asked, "Blair, Cherry, are you guys ok?"

Kaida and Nirvana canter towards the group. "You there...with the tiger...Aidan, shut up. Broken legs hurt...and Cherry, try to keep it down, they aren't so painful." The surprised at her outspokenness, she turned to walk a little ways from the group. "Good going!" Nirvana said and smirked.

Blair was surprised that Kaida would even come back to the group for even a split second and then give advise. Kaida didn't even seem the person to do that, or at least she thought.

Aidan glared at Kaida. "Broken legs might hurt but she shouldn't be screaming. She is bound to attract something and get us all killed."

"Oh..hi..." She mumbled. "I'm Kaida." Then turning to Aidan. "Yes I agree, but by yelling at her, you added to her noise, creating more of a ruckus, thus making it more likely that something would find us." She glared.

Lurea looked down at her hands, she didn’t LOOK invisible, but once again she was forgotten by everyone around her. She tried walking in front of Aidan, she didn’t notice at all. “What's happening to me?!?!” she yelled in fright. Telperion choose that moment to come bounding out of the forest.

"There you are you fool! I was looking all over for you!!! There’s something I’ve just found out, and its not good at all."

"Tell me now!" Lurea said quickly, did he have the answer to her apparent invisibility?

"You're not going to like this, but the water in the creek you were sitting by is cursed, you only have a matter of days before you become a shade. Shades are invisible spirit creatures that haunt the forests of Savoya, and trust me, you DONT want to be one."

Lurea stared, open mouthed at what Telperion had said. "Why do i always have such bad luck?" she asked to no one in particular.

"You're both right, okay?!?" Blair was getting really irritated at these two. "But you're both yelling and plus Cherry's wails, the racket you all combined are making is going to bring of the evil dragon king's creature follower thingies!!!" She stomped off to the farthest tree possible and sat, arms folded, hoping that this trip would end quickly.

Blair noticed that Telperion talking to someone but she couldn't see who. She went up to Telperion, "Are you talking to anyone in particular? Because I can help you if anything is wrong, or, at least, I hope i can."

Josaphine took a step back. "Fine, ____. Just trying to be nice! Aman!" she called. "Lets go help Blaire out." She glared at Kaida. Aman beat her wings and screeched before flying off.

Kaida looked at the girl oddly, she hadn't said anything mean to her...only that baka Aidan. She shrugged, what did she expect, people always treated her like that. The see green and black hair, piercings and tattoos and go "bit__". She walked off.

Josaphine beckoned to Kaida. "Come on!" She called. "Let's go help Blair! And sorry about what i said to you. I thought that you were talking to me before. Can we start over?"

Grinning Jenna turned glad that Cherry was getting help. Trying to make better friends she turned to Blair. "Soooooooooooooo, how did you get mixed up on this crazy adventure thingy? Oh and will everybody say what there elements are so whoever has the fire element can get there but over here and light the fire? That's if you want to eat anytime soon! Sorry about that, so what were we saying?"

Kayaro grinned and went to watch Josaphine and Kaida.

Aidan leaned against a tree and watched the others talk. It was getting late and she was starving. "Come on," she said to Titterama. "Let’s get something to eat.

The tiger nodded and the two walked off into the forest. They came back a few minutes later with an armful of fruit and Titterama was carrying a rabbit. They sat down and began to eat.

Lurea waved frantically to Blair, hoping to attract enough attention so she could try and get out of this mess. "Hi Blair! I need to talk to you." she called out.

Aidan heard someone yelling. It sounded like Lurea. She looked around but could not see the girl anywhere but her companion was standing next to Blair. She walked over to them. "What is going on? Lurea?" she asked suspiciously.

Jenna gave up on getting a fire attack and went to get some more fruit.

Kayaro, not wanting the fish to go to waste started eating it. He turned to the Barghest talking with a full mouth, he made a huge swallow, and continued, "Want some? There's so much leftover!"

Jenna came back and was about to offer some fruit to Blair, Josephine, and Cherry, when she realized something seemed to be amiss, so she waited to find out what.

Cherry saw that she was being offered food, and generously accepted, eating as though she hadn’t in years. "Thanks sooo much," she said with an open mouth, looking rather unbecoming as she stuffed her mouth full of as much fruit as possible. The injury had left her weak and, yes, hungry. "I'd broken bones in cheerleading before, but..." she whacked Lilliana out of the way ungracefully as the bird tried to steal a bite of her fruit. "You eat later, silly," she said, nearly done with a peach now.

Jenna forced down a laugh and handed the bird some berries. "So what's going on again..............?"

"OOOH, well, I'm not even sure," said Cherry, as a delighted Lilliana scooped up the rich red berries gratefully. "I kinda blacked out after I broke my leg from the fall, and yeah, I was really..." she paused for a moment, mouth full of food..."HUNGRY." Standing up for a moment, she did the splits to show that both legs were OK. "I think it must've been healed," she said, grinning, and then resumed eating relentlessly. "I don't know WHAT I'd do with a broken leg...I couldn't walk, run cheerlead, ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!"

Jenna grimaced and replied, "Right, I'll go make sure Kayaro is not pigging out." She was glad for an excuse to leave, since no one seemed to be able to tell he anything.

"Right," Cherry called after her. Rising to her feet, she flipped her hair back and wondered what was going on.

"Can anyone hear me?" Lurea said softly, meditating on the severity of her situation. "If you can it'd be really great if you could listen, just for a few minutes."

"Lurea?" Aidan asked, still suspicious. She stared at the spot where the voice was coming from but no one was there. "What happened?"

"Yup? Wait, could i throw some dirt on you so i can get an idea of where you are?" Blair asked, she smiled a little with the thought of Lurea covered in dirt. It just didn't seem like her to let someone do that, but she hoped.

"I'm not exactly sure," Lurea replied instantaneously, growing eager and happy at the prospect of someone helping her. "Telperion here says that I have a curse which will eventually turn me into a shade, some kind of shadow creature that’s invisible. But anyway, he thinks there may be a way to break it, but he doesn’t know." She looked pleadingly at Aidan, even though she knew Aidan couldn’t see her.

Lurea made a face; the idea of being covered in dirt did in no way help her situation. "Why don’t you just throw some water on me instead," she suggested. "I don't actually think that it would help because, one, you would get soaked and, two, sooner or later it would dry. How ever, if you have dirt on, you can brush it off. You see my point?" Blair hoped Lurea would understand the logic behind this.

Kaida looked rather confused. "Uh...hello? Is someone their?" The girl, presumably Blair, was speaking to something, Kaida couldn't see what, or who.

"Couldn't you just use your healing power?" Aidan asked Blair. "That would be much simpler and no one would get dirty or wet."

"What's going on?" asked Josaphine, puzzled.

Puzzled, Cherry noticed Lurea meditating, and Aidan coming to her request of someone to talk to. "What's going on?" she asked loudly, as Lilliana began to braid her hair with her talons.

Kris rolled her eyes. "You do realize that we are bring haunted by some unknown force and slowly, it will begin to overpower all of us," she said, it a surprisingly calm voice. "Lurea was first. This power will not stop until it kills us all." she smirked and walked into the shadows.

Reika groaned. "Kris," she whined. "You're not making anything any better."

"I'm telling the truth."

The thestral snorted. "None of that is true. Yes, we are being hunted but it's not a supernatural force."

"In OUR world, Thestral and Dragon and whatever else would BE supernatural."

Reika sighed again and gave up arguing with her.

Josaphine stared. She couldn't help but agree with the girl. She had been getting a feeling of uneasiness in her stomach for a long time. Even Aman was beginning to shuffle his feet nervously.

She drew away from the group. Aman followed and came to her shoulder. "What's on your mind?" she whispered.

"I just think," Josaphine replied, "that someone is following us."
