| Today is my first day on the new section. Let's start things off well. Tidus is in Zanarkand to start the story. Zanarkand is his home. Tidus is preparing for a Blitzball game. He is signing autographs when these kids ask him to teach them how to blitz. This strange kid tells him that he can't that night. When Tidus is going to the game, a radio announcer is talking about how Jecht, which is Tidus' father, disappeared ten years ago. Tidus begins to play his game, when he sees a giant sphere of water shooting at Zanarkand. Auron is with you after the city is partially destroyed. Auron looks up and sees a black fish type looking thing flying. He says 'We called it 'Sin.'" You fight a weak battle against Sin after Auron gives you a sword. You escape. Auron looks up and says "You are sure?" He then looks down at Tidus, who is hanging off of a cliff, pulls him up and says "This is it. This is your story." Note: At the introduction to the game, all of the people are sitting around a campfire and Tidus walks off and says "Listen to my story. This may be our last chance." Tidus finds himself all alone when he gets attacked by a fish that tries to devour him. He narrowly escapes, and ends up in some abandoned area. He says "I had made it out of the frying pan, and into the freezer." He finds stuff to build a campfire, and builds one. When it starts to go out, he is attacked by another monster. In the middle of the fight, some people show up and help him defeat the fiend. He cannot understand the language they speak. They knock Tidus out after the battle. When he wakes up, he finds himself on a ship. He finds out from the English speaker of the group that they are Al Bhed. He talks to her and he tells her that he plays Blitzball for the Zanarkand Abes. She tells him that it isn't possible because Zanarkand was destroyed a thousand years ago. (You wonder about the dissapearance of Jecht, eh?) Sin attacks the ship, and Tidus floats to shore. He ends up in a town called Besaid. He meets Wakka and shows off his moves. Wakka introduces himself. "I'm Wakka, cap'n and coach of the Besaid Aurochs, brudda." Tidus asks Wakka about Zanarkand, and Wakka confirms that Zanarkand was destroyed one thousand years prior to the conversation. Tidus an Wakka later go to the temple. The guy at the temple says "She hasn't come out in over a day," or something to that effect. Tidus runs up the stairs and is about to enter the room, which is against the rules of Yevon. Yuna, the summoner that everyone is talking about, comes out. The deal is that if you pray to the Aeons, and they come and answer your prayer, you become a summoner. The Aeons answered her prayer, and she can now summon Valfore. So, Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu (One of Yuna's guardians), and Kamahri (another of Yuna's guardians) get on a ship to go to a Blitzball tournament. At the tournament, Yuna gets captured by Al Bheds. Tidus has to go find her, and in turn, misses the Blitzball game. Note: The Besaid Aurochs haven't won a game in like 25 years. Tidus rescues Yuna. He sees a TV and watches the very end of the Blitzball. There is thrity seconds left in the game. Wakka gets the ball, makes a tackler miss. He shoots and scores with no time left. The Besaid Aurochs win. Wakka announces to them team that the upcoming game will be his last. Tidus will take his spot for the first half. This game, you control the outcome. Sin then attacks the stadium. Seymour Guado is present at the attack. His Aeon, Anima destroys all of the Sinspawn (remnants of Sin). |
| 1/5- Tidus and Yuna eventually end up on a high road where excommunicates of Yevon are planning to use forbidden Machina to defeat Sin. The Crusaders plan become the first non-summoner party to defeat Sin. Sin comes back every so often, because Sin is the people's punishment for using machina, I guess. That is why they are forbidden. Sin puts up a shield and then kills all of the Crusaders fighting. |
