Valentine's Day
For Febuary's Feature, I decided to keep within the spirit of Valentine's Day and have information on the love between the characters in Final Fantasy. Love between characters for the most part, began with Final Fantasy 7, therefor this feature is dedicated to 7-10.
Final Fantasy 7
Cloud... the love interest of both Aeris and Tifa. Cloud's relationship with Aeris is through love. Aeris loves Cloud, but Cloud is kinda just silent. On the otherhand, Cloud's relationship with Tifa is more of a close childhood friendship based on trust. Tifa seems to think that Cloud is her true love, but Cloud thinks otherwise.
Final Fantasy 8
The relationship between Squall and Rinoa is one of the most detailed relationships ever seen in a game, let alone in a Final Fantasy. Their relationship starts out slow but then becomes more serious as the game progresses. They also has some memorable moments such as the ballroom dance. This is definitely the best relationship in Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy 9
Zidane was only supposed to capture Princess Garnet, not fall in love with her. In the beginning, Zidane loves Garnet. And as the story moves on, Garnet falls in love with Zidane too. This is a really good relationship, but it both of them were to shy to really come out with their feelings for each other.
Just a bit of additional information, Freya is one of Zidane's many exs.
Final Fantasy X
This is another good relationship. Tidus and Yuna seem to grow feelings for each other at the same pace, and both of them hold those feelings back. Although Tidus does show feelings of jeliousy when Yuna is around Seymour. Tidus and Yuna also have some memorable moments, such as the one at the spring/lake.
