Acquiring Level 4 Manuals

Cloud Strife:
You can find the Omnislash manual for Cloud at the Gold Saucer in the Battle Square. After acquiring 32,000 battle points, you may then buy the manual as an item.

Barret Wallace:
Getting the Catastrophe manual requires stopping the train, carrying huge materia, from crashing into Corel on the second disk 2. Once the train has been stopped enter the house closest to the inn on the upper floor. Inside is a lady who talks about her husband. She then gives you the manual.

Tifa Lockheart:
To get Tifa’s Final Heaven manual you’ll need to be on disk 2, after Cloud comes out from his coma. Then get Tifa in your party and head to Nibelheim. Head to Tifa’s bedroom and play the piano tune that had been played in the flashback. ( For those who can’t remember it goes like this X, Square, Triangle, R1 + Triangle, R1 + Square, X, Square, Triangle, R1 + X, O, X, Square, X ) Afterwards Tifa should say something about the sheet and you’ll get the manual

Aeris Gainsborough:
Getting Aeris Manual is a waste of time but if you want to get it must be done on disk 1. You’ll first need to get up to the Gold Saucer and receive the buggy. Take the buggy back to Costa del sol and drive into Costa del so.( Do not get off the buggy ) Go down to the docks and talk to the sailor. He will let you go back to Junon for 100 gil.
When you get to Junon got outside and you’ll have the buggy with you.
Head in a northeast direction and when you come to a shallow spot cross it and go east. There should be a cave, and inside is an old man. ( He doesn’t talk to you unless you have the last 2 numbers of all your battle fights the same. eg 11, 22, 33, 44, 55 fights etc..) When he talks to you he gives you an item. Sometimes the item is a Bolt Ring other times its Mythril. We want the Mythril. If he doesn’t give the Mythril go outside fight 11 battles and talk to him again until he gives you the Mythril. Continue the game until you reach that house close to the sea it’s where you find out about the keystone. After the man explains about the keystone you have the option of talking about something else. When he talks about his weapons he’ll mention he doesn’t have enough Mythril. Give him the Mythril and he will give you the chance to take an item from a chest as a prize. Go up the stairs, and left. Open the box to receive the Great Gospel manual

Red XIII:
You can get Red’s manual in disk 1 when you first go to Nibelhiem.
To get the manual you’ll have to go inside the Shira mansion and open the safe. When you open the safe you should fight a Boss called ost Number. After winning you should receive the basement key Odin materia and Cosmos Memory manual

Yuffie Kisaragi:
To get Yuffie’s All Creation manual all you got to do is to do the Wutai sidequest. After challenging all the masters of Pagoda you’ll get leviathan materia and athe All Creation manual

Cait Sith:
Has no manual

Vincent Valentine:
To get Vincent’s Choas manual you’ll need the submarine or a black or gold chocobo. With either of the above head towards the cave behind the waterfall with Vincent in your party. If you don’t know where this is get the airship and go to the place where you found out about the keystone, it’s the house near the sea, near the Gold Saucer. From their follow the lake beside the house and your there. Enter the cave and a flashback should occur. After that get into 10 battles and go back to the cave. You will then receive his Chaos manual and his best weapon.

Cid Highwind:
Cid’s manual is in the crashed Gelnika. Just get the submarine and search for it. Cid’s Highwind manual should be in one of the chest.
