As you begin the trip to the Battlecat Barracks, you see a board, so you pause to read it.
Since there are so many battlecats out now I'm going to have to put a limit on how many each tarlin is allowed to have. I will limit your battlecats by your rank in an army.
King and Queen: As many as they want.
Nightstars: 10
Wizards: 5
Sunflars: 4
Colonels: 2
Soldiers: 1 if allowed by commanding officer.
Battlecat Barracks
This is a place devoted to battlecats. Coming here means you have in mind either getting a 'cat or you wish it to be trained. Below are courses and other stuff you might wish.
Getting a Battlecat.
If you wish a 'cat then ask, either for a full grown 'cat or you will be given a cub. When you get your 'cat you will be told what sex, color and age if you do not ask these thing of the Keeper.
Training courses
Here at the Battlecat Barracks we will train you Battlecat in the fine arts of war. You must ask for the course you want or you will not get it.
Hunting
There are two different hunting courses to choose from. Elf Hunting: Is where your 'cat can be taught to capture elves for slaves.
Food Hunting: is where your 'cat will be taught to hunt prey and bring it back to you.
Remember your 'cat can turn on you if you don't watch them or treat them right so pick one or the other at one time because you can come back later.
Battle training
Now here is the fun part, war! There are four different courses to choose from, but remember Hunters can only learn two of these so choose wisely.
Elves: Have those pesky elves killed another of your prized horses? Or maybe a friend? Well train you battlecat to protect you as well as get rid or them.
Wolves: Damn K-9's! Won't they ever learn that 'cats are the better choice, well we'll show them.
Unicorns: What a tasty treat! But first you have to kill it before it gets you.
Dragons: Now wait a minute, not so fast. This is a special course and you can't have any other under battle training if you want this one. Even with the training you still might not be able to get any blows on those flying lizards. Only a few 'cats can have this couse.
If you take any courses I will give you a sheet with what they shall learn for the course picked.
Breeders
We don't do much with them but if you have a few left-over cubs that have not found trainers you may give them to me to keep. Leave their stats so they can be adopted at a later time.
Don't want the hard-to-handle female breeder tearing up your sheets? Well, you can send them here to give birth. We have many nice makeshift dens ready and waiting for the mother to birth in.
Can't find the perfect male? I just might be able to find one for you. Want your male breeder to be useful? Let him wander around here awhile, a female will eventualy come around here.
Job openings
Looking for a tarlin to keep track of bloodlines and breedings, even draw up a family tree if need or want be.
(computer opening: Want some one who could draw the mighty beast if asked. Send sample drawing to Til or Khat. Computer graphics or hand drawn accepted)
Thanks for reading. Battlecat Keeper.
