The Dream She Saw
Sitting by a lake,
you feel the presence of a beast
Although feared beyond comprehension,
You turn around!
Laying next to you,
Staring at you,
Breathing at you,
Is nothing less than a dream
Raising it's head above the trees,
reflecting the light from it's scales
You scream in awe!
slowly,
cautiously,
curiously,
You step closer for a better look
But you are swept back by the force of wind from it's wings
As you watch your dream slowly slip from your vision
there is a flash of light,
and you are awaken from your peaceful state of mind
and you feel your first touch of freedom

An Answer
Crying by a pond,
weeping with a willow,
sobbing on a cloud,
bawling to a flower.
The mind is a blank,
The friendship is ending.
What one thought would last a lifetime,
has ended.
kneeling at the cornerstone,
bowing at the alter,
staring at a cross,
thinking of a man.
An answer has been given,
A heart has been satisphied.
The soul will go on,
and the end is just a remnant of the past.

The Darkness He Longed For
In a dark room he was kept,
Sheilded from all eternity.
The only sliver of light blinded him.
Silence became his friend,
The cold walls, his companion.
His misery comforted him,
His sadness wept for him.
The lonliness he felt was his only hope.
His world is an everlasting path of twisted blackness.
Shadows of images he never saw,
sit with him
And now he stands in his little room
looking up through the cracks,
and pondering thoughts derived only from the darkness,
and awaiting death.

Awakened Sparrow
As slowly as the dawn had kept,
a friendly sparrow sweetly slept.
The eggs that nestled in her nest,
stilled within her bright red breast.
A year ago her beloved left,
and yet still now the sparrow wept.
In her heart she knew such sorrow,
wouldn't last untill the 'morrow.
The tears she had so madly drawn,
had all dried up at the crack of dawn.
Her eyes now opened to the light,
she clearly wobbled at the sight.
The Master so peculi'r in might,
had stood in her doorway during the night.
Se felt no sadness, no maddness, nor hate,
and knew this wasn't her normal state.
And now she flies through the brillient skies,
so perfectly fearless and true,
to be found with Him,
deep in His eyes.

Cold Suicide
Shattered pieces lay before me,
drenched within my vain red blood.
Tears drip from my weary eyes,
as I shake upon the dark cold floor.
I fear the heartless song of death,
and the paleness of it's keeper.
The mist of blackness surrounds my being,
and icy fingers caress my body.
Horror strikes, it's all around me,
a terrifying shriek rings about me.
The empty tune calls out with cries,
while mourners cry out their eyes.
Fading is the sun I knew,
and far off in the distance now,
the world I never knew,
goes on.
