What Vlad thinks of the Zakrello. |
Designed at the same time as the Bigro, the Zakrello was originally the planned anti-mobile suit Armor, for use to facilitate the Bigro in high-speed assaults. Sporting an even better thruster capacity and a huge, scattering Mega Particle Cannon, with targetting systems advanced enough to target a good half dozen moving targets at a time. In addition, it was given two huge cutting blades, that could easily chop a GM in two at high speeds. Unfortunately, the Zakrello had one severe design flaw - the lack of the AMBAC system installed in Mobile Suits and other Armors. While it's initial assault in a combat could be frightening, once it came under fire it found it all but impossible to dodge, and ran out of fuel quickly. The first few uses of the Zakrello in combat saw good results, but a 100% casualty rate. As it took seasoned pilots to control such a high-speed mobile armor, this design was quickly phased out in favor of the Val Valo.
