Thank you for visiting my Dragonlance website. I will be updating it from time to time. This site tells you about stuff from the Dragonlance series, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It will have stuff about the characters, gods and goddesses, races, occupations, and a poll. If you have any pointers, or suggestions, email me at the address below. I'm just letting you know that I am very proud of this site, and I hope they don't take it off the web.

Characters

Tanis
Tanis Half-Elven, the leader of the companions, is a wise, warrior half-elf. He travels with a Tas, a kender, Flint, a dwarf, Gilthanas and Larauna, elves, Strum, Rastlin, Caramon, Riverwind, and Goldmoon, humans.

Tasslehoff
Tas(slehoff) Burrfoot, a kender, (the race of thieves) is an energetic little...weirdo. Like all kender, he is a thief, who won't admit or even know he's a theif. He thinks that things just 'fall' into his pouches. He is very curious, and that usually gets the best of him. He is definatley the comic relief of the book.

Flint
Flint, a dwarf, is a good friend, but he complains a lot. He is great at weilding his battle-axe, and also is worried a lot about his friends, plus a little about himself. He always travels with Tas, and, although he won't admit it, likes him. He likes to carve wood and stone, like most dwarves. Flint is a hill dwarf.

Raistlin
Raistlin is a mage. He became one in the Tower of High Sorcery. Of course he succeeded, because the penalty for failure is death. Although Raistlin passed the tests, there was a fee. It turned his skin into a golden color, and made his eyes into hourglasses. With them, he can see not what is there, but, if he's looking at you, he sees you dead. Raistlin is very skinny, and very weak phisically, but if you get into a fight with him, he'll kick your ass with a fireball. Like all mages, once he casts a spell, the words are erased from his memory, and he has to re-learn it in his spellbook, and he is so weakened by a few spells, he must sleep.

Caramon
Caramon, Raistlin's twin brother, is a skilled fighter. He can kill 3 draconians (dragon men) with a swipe of his sword. He is also very strong. Although he isn't very smart, Caramon is very nice, and very protective of his twin brother, Raistlin. He also married Tika, a barmaid.

Strum
Strum Brightblade, Knight of Solamnia, is a very serious man. Like all Knights of Solamnia, Strum is honorable, loyal and brave. He sticks to the measure of the knights, which is basically about helping others in a time of need, and sacrificing your life to save others. He also follows the Code of the Knights, 'My honor is my life'. Unfortunatley, how do I say this, but... the measure sucks. Although Strum is a good fighter and a loyal person, he's not a very likeable character because of the Measure.

Goldmoon
Goldmoon is a Plainswoman, the chieftain, in fact! (She was the cheiftain's daughter, until her dad died) Although her people are in hiding, except for her husband, Riverwind, so being cheiftain is pointless. She is also a cleric of Mishakal, goddess of healing. She is a beautiful singer, and everyone who lookes at her gapes in awe. But don't let her looks fool you! In Dragons of Autumn Twilight, she held the Staff of Mishakal, a staff that could heal you if you were good, but if you're evil, it does a lot of damage. Anyway, in Autumn Twilight, she was swinging that staff left and right beating the living snot out of draconians and dragons.

Tika
Tika, a former barmaid from Solace, has a crush on Caramon. After watching where she was born and raised, Solace, being burned to the ground, she joined the companions to become a fighter, to kill the dragons, draconians, and Highlords who did that to her town, and also to get close to Caramon. Although she has been in many battles, and is a fairly skilled fighter whose especially good with a sheild, her most famous battle was when she beat a draconian over the head with a frying pan.

Larauna, one of the most beautiful elves on Krynn, a spectacular figher, daughter of the Speaker of the Suns in Qualinesti, and in love with Tanis, Is a smart and noble woman. In Winter Night and Spring Dawning, she is the leader in Tanis' absence. Although she is very serious, and finds very few trustworthy, she is a very nice woman. At first, she acts like a spoiled little girl (even though she's over 100), but after seeing the amount of deaths that she's seen, she is more grown up than almost any of them.

Galthanas
Galthanas is the brother of Larauna. He is a mage, although he knows little magic. He is a noble fighter as well as a trustworthy man. In Winter Night, He fell in love with a Wilder Elf of Kaganesti, named Silvara. It turned out she wasn't a Wilder Elf at all. She was a silver dragon. In fact, she was the sister of the silver dragon that Huma, the Great Knight of Solamnia loved.

Riverwind
Riverwind, barbarian, and husband to Goldmoon, is a warrior. He was sent on a mission to prove the existance of the true gods. If he passed the test, he could have Goldmoon as his wife. He found the staff of Mishakal, passed, but was still going to be stoned to death. Fortunatley, because of Goldmoon and the staff, he was taken away, met the companions, and the two of them started the quest of their lives.

Fisban
Fisban, aka E'li, aka Thak, aka Skyblade, aka Draco Paladin, yes I said Paladin, god of all good gods, is an insane, old magician obsessed with fireballs, who beats trees with sticks, and can't even remember his own name (at one point he called himself Fisbutt). He also yells at puffballs, and has a dragon that is so old, he has no teeth. And also, Fisban keeps lighting his hat on fire, or losing it, or leaving it behind, but still has it later. I'm still trying to figure out why. He is very goofy and insane, I don't know why he looks so serious in this picture.

Palin
The youngest son of Caramon Majere, Palin is a skilled mage, one of the most talented, and (depending on which future you know) was even head of the Wizard's Conclave. Palin is rumored to have developed the amazing skill at magic from his uncle, Raistlin. He soon married Usha, an Idra.

Dalamar
Dalamar was the apprentice mage of the great wizard Raistlin Majere. Although he is a dark elf, and a black-robed wizard, Dalamar is mainly a neutral character, who helps whom he pleases. Usually that tends to be the side of good. However, his actions are not always just for the good of others. Dalamar usually has a reason, something in his plan that helps him greatly.

Mina
Literally nothing is known about this young girl. Raised by Goldmoon, Head Master of the Citadel of Light, Mina ran away at the age of 13, and wasn't seen for years. Then, after the leaving of the gods (Chaos Wars), she returned during the night of a ferocious storm, to talk about the coming of a new god, the One God. Mina has a skill for healing, and is basically a magnet for anyone. Her followers are numbered by thousands, each one willing to die for her.

Gerard
Gerard uth Mondar is a Solamnic Knight. Due to a rare childhood disease, his face is cracked and hideous, his hair corn yellow. This distortion in his face revoults women; the only reason why they like him is for his money, which is why he detests them. Gerard is, like most Solamnics, an honorable and noble knight.

Here are a few villans

Takhisis
Takhisis is the Queen of Darkness, Dragon of many colors and none, the Dark Queen. She is pure evil, in fact, she is goddess of all evil, sister to Paladine. Although she is a strong force on Krynn, she cannot yet fully enter this world, so she appears to be like a hologram.

Fistandatilus
Fistandatilus is basically Raistlin, as odd as that may seem. A mage who was in power since before the first Caticlysm, Fistandatilus, like Raistlin, planned to challenge the gods so he may become one himself, and like Raist, he failed. Fistandatilus has a tendency of luring young mages to be his apprentice, only to rob them of their youth and steal their form, so that he may live forever. He tried to do the same to Raistlin, however Raistlin (supposedly) stopped him.

Kitiara
Kitiara is the sister of Rastlin and Caramon. When the companions last met, 5 years ago, they all promised to meet again in 5 years. But Kitiara didn't come, because she had a new master. That master was Takhisis, Queen of Darkness. Kitiara is now a Dragon Highlord, in control of the dragon armies, and all the blue dragons. Although she may look nice, she is a mean slut.

Verminaard
Lord Verminaard, also a Dragon Highlord, is a cleric of the Dark Queen. Unlike Goldmoon, he is evil and very mean. Verminaard controls reds, mainly. He had a red named Pyros, although he called him Ember, whom he rode when he burned Solace. Unfortunatley, he depends too much on his Dark Queen, and that created his downfall.

Draconians
Draconians, or dragon men, are creatures that appear to be human-shaped, man-sized dragons, whom are very feirce, and very mean (better described on races page)

Lord Soth
Lord Soth, a death knight, works for Kitiara. He is well... a dead, evil Knight of Solamnia. Because of a bad choice he made a long time ago, he has to stay on Krynn forever, and cannot be killed.

Ariakas
Ariakas is the lead Dragon Highlord, as well as a skilled fighter, and a dark mage. His father, a dark cleric, worked for Takhisis, and killed his mother, and as a revenge for his mother's death, Ariakas killed his father, and took his place working for Takhisis, Queen of Darkness.
