The great beast falls to the ground, its last breath taken. The smell of blood, gore, and death fills the air, causeing you eyes to water. You fight back the urge to run from this nightmare and drown the memories in drink. You shake-off this thought as it slowly hits you... You have triumphed where others have failed. You have defeated the evil scorge which marred this land and killed the people who dwelt here.With new resolve you walk to the tail of the fallen Manitcore. Pulling your knife from its sheaf you cut the vemon dripping stinger and wipe it off, admiring its size and deadly beauty. Examining it in the light you relize the stinger is longer than your arm and would go staight through any man and fill him with lethal poison. Perfect, you think, the stinger will prove the beast is dead by your hand and will be mounted above the fireplace to speak of your victory.As you walk toward the rising sun back to town, you can already see the people assembled waiting for you, their hero. As you get nearer you are spotted and a cheer like you have never heard rises into the morning heavens at your arrival.
