Mages

Mages are able to call upon the power around to fashion spells. They can use this power to fashion both powerful offensive spells and defensive spells. Due to the fact most of thise time is studying how to control this arcane power, they cannot wear armor and can only use a dagger or staff.
Mages primary attribute is intelligence.

Mages get access to spells, based on level and Intelligence. As they level they are able to learn more spells and increase the power of some the spells they currently have. Higher Intelligence gives the mage more spells available per level.

The chart below gives the bonuses for each level.

*HP are Hit Points. This how much damage you can take before being defeated. Level and constitution dictate how many hit points you have.

*MP are mana points. These are used for spell casting. Each spell takes a certain amount of MP, when the MP is gone they can cast no more spells that battle.

*Bonus Spell is when you get to choose a spell, free of charge to add to your spellbook. You must have a free slot available to get this spell.

*AC is armor class. As you level your AC drops making it harder to be hit. Mages have the worse armor class, but their spells help make up for it.

*Spells is the number of spells you know based on level. They can be any spell as long as you are of high enough level to have access them.
