Cheni of Pern.

Cheni is a character that I play on PernMUSH , a themed roleplaying MUSH based on the Dragonriders of Pern novels by Anne McCaffrey (c) l967, 2000. PernMUSH attempts to recreate, with as much authenticity as possible, the society described in the novels. This site contains logs of recorded online sessions, by permission of the author but generated on pernMUSH for the benefit of people unable to attend.

This picture is of Cheni as a young woman of seventeen turns. She has a wry sense of humour, and often that humour gets her into trouble, much to her chagrin. She has been relatively innocent of Weyr life, but is quickly learning to adapt as she is presently a candidate at Telgar Weyr. Before she was searched, she was a personal assistant for the Lord Holder of Braddle Hold, a small but prosperous hold along the north shores of the Southern Boll Hold area.

What does she look like today?

A delicate heart-shaped face, the features soft, but refined by an active lifestyle, portrays the essence of this young woman of 17 turns. Her figure shows definite womanly curves through the light layering of muscle. Rich shimmering dark brown hair is plaited up, the odd sun-kissed golden blonde tendril escaping, to curl around her face. Cheekbones sweep upwards in gentle curves, as if a rogue wind had taken them as its own, framing deep brown eyes, under the long, dark lashes, complimenting a very fine dusting of freckles that caresses the nose and cheeks of her cream and klah hued skin.

She wears a matching tunic and trous set, fully functional and practical in nature. However, the fine details of delicate red and gold embroidery that edge the beige coloured cuffed sleeves and open lapels of the tunic lend individuality to the outfit, and the excellent tailoring draws attention to Cheni's curvaceous figure. The cut of the pleated trousers has been fashioned to elongate her legs and subtly draw the eye to her trim waist and curved hips. While her ankle boots are definitely for everyday wear, show pride of ownership, as they are neatly polished.

Green Stunning - Cheni's Firelizard

Stunning's muzzle is lightly smudged with a glossy jade green, with a few speckles of emerald. Sweeping over her eyeridges, glossy jade greens darken, accenting her eyeridges and highlighting sharp eyes that whirl with hints of calm intelligence. Lighter shades of jade graduate and fade into pale green as they go down her head and neck. Her rounded shoulders are deep jade in color, fading to a slightly darker shade of jade green at the back. Her forelegs are a flowing tide green, the shade continues until it reaches her front claws where it lightens quite a bit, giving her the appearance of socks. Her sharp and slightly curved set of jade green talons glint dangerously when hit by sunlight. Her belly is much lighter than any other part of her body, but has darker speckles. Wing sails are a very elegant and shimmering glossy jade green, however there are two shades of green that clash on the tips of her wings, glossy jade green and swirled patterns of dark emerald green. Under her wings, the green darkens to seaweed green. Her hind legs are colored by sharp coiling bands of jade green with a few small emerald green speckles mixed in. Her tail, a darker jade, gives way to the gleaming emerald tail tip.
