Betrayal and Redemption
After the battle on Dark Sun, Chakrin locked himself away in the gravity chamber to train, as his pilot rocketed the BANSHEE through space, towards the green planet, Namek.
Experiencing 10x gravity was more than a struggle for Chakrin. So, he once again set the gravity at 10 G’s and trained steadily for the next seven days until he had reached Namek. Exhausted, Chakrin spent a full three days recovering in the rejuvenation tank before he was finally able to step out of his ship and take in a deep fresh breath of Namek air. Coughing profusely as the air reached his lungs he could immediately tell that something was wrong. Throwing out a bunch of orders, Chakrin stepped back on his ship and took of in search of fellow Namek warriors.
Weeks have past since then. Countless battles and run-ins with the undead soldiers of Anton's army. Somehow the warriors of Namek have defended their posts, even come together as one army to fight for the safety and recovery of the ever-elusive dragon balls.
~Excavation~
The night was unseasonably cold. The clear black sky did little to keep that day’s warm sunlight from escaping the atmosphere of Namek, turning the night into the deep reaches of space. Cold, dark, and silent. Looking up, anyone could see the many stars and planets that covered the galaxy. Bringing in a surreal sense of loneliness to the viewer’s eyes as they could only imagine what else was out there.
Through the darkness a lone figure made his way through the camp. Ducking guards sneaking past fire lit walk ways. To be seen as an enemy in this place would mean certain death, but it was a risk that had to be taken. If not by him than by someone else. It was a matter of life and death before he choose to infiltrate the camp. Now it was merely a task of surviving.
Stepping lightly, making sure to use as little ki power as possible he made his way through the camp one step at a time. Silencing guards before they knew what became of their former lives. All this work for something that only came around once in a great while hardly seemed like it was worth it. That was until the planets guardian, Piccolo, foretold the horrid possibilities of merciless death. It was made clear that in no way possible were the demons to succeed in their plans, for Chakrin, he was willing to do everything in his power to make sure that never happened.
~Days Earlier~
The masses were still celebrating the victory over the demons and the recovery of a few of the DragonBalls. Sacooru had taken leave and was marinating in the fluids of the rejuvenation tank while Worm wandered by every now and then to make sure he was ok. Though the air was uplifting with random shouts of glee and excitement, the undermining drone of imminent battles and danger ahead for all of them, kept the festivities in check.
“Wow! This is great! We’ve got 4 of the 7 DragonBalls and a couple of the teams plan on searching for the rest tomorrow. Everything is gonna be ok! Sheng’s voice was somewhat overjoyed at the thought that the Nameks would be ok after all.
“I know. I can’t wait for my brother to wake up! I’ve been dying to ask him what it was like in the next dimension. What it was like to train with a new Master, even to train with Zidane himself!” Unaware of his voice rising and speeding ahead Raeko finished as he struggled to catch his breath.
“It’s far too early to make such bold predictions Sheng.” Leaning against a post a silhouette could be seen from the firelight before the figure stepped forward to reveal his identity.
“Makeo? I thought you would have been in the rejuvenation tank by now, what’s up?” Raeko was oddly confused and suddenly gripped by reality as Makeo continued.
“4 is not 7. In order for this war to be finished we must have all 7. Not 5, not 6, but ALL 7 DragonBalls. Until that day comes we are unable to stop those Demons from taking over…from destroying everything that you have known and come to love and cherish.” Turning in the direction of Sacooru’s current residence, Makeo left the young warriors wondering why exactly had they taken such a huge risk in the first place.
“Well then that killed the mood. I’m gonna go for a walk you gonna be ok man?” Sheng stood up slowly as he flipped the bird to Makeo’s back. “You want anything to drink or something?
“Nah, I’m good. Thanks though.” Waving off the hospitality Raeko sat silently as Sheng disappeared in the shadows.
“Good to go?” Leaning against the doorway Makeo offered little more than words to assist Sacooru.
“I think so,” Still attesting his exit of the rejuvenation tank Sacooru finally got out and grabbed some clothes still talking as he got dressed. “Were you out there?”
“Yeah, why?” Moving to the tank Makeo pushed a few buttons and watched as the tank closed and commenced its cleaning cycle.
“Just wondering about moral I guess.” Tightening his belt Sacooru waited for an answer.
“I’d say it’s a little too good.” Letting the tank finish its cleaning cycle Makeo stepped in. “Have a chat with your brother; someone needs to set him straight.”
“I’ll do that, well, I’ll see you when you’re done. Enjoy the rest it may be the last we get for a long time.” Exiting the room Sacooru’s bare feet walking into the hallway were followed by a hiss of steam and a metallic clank as the rejuvenation tank started again. Making his way to his room Sacooru finished getting dressed and headed out to find his brother somewhere in the midst of the celebrating crowds.
~Found I~
Chakrin had followed the dragon ball trail for nearly three days. Stopping only when the marauders stopped, eating only when they ate, and sleeping only when they slept. He moved silently behind them like the shadows that followed them in the day and the darkness that surrounded them in the night. He was the definition of stealth for three very long days, but his efforts had paid off. They came across a dragon ball buried deep underground and it was apparently decided by the seemingly roaming caravan that this would be the place for camp, the site for the excavation of a dragon ball.
After many hours had passed and the digging was well underway, only then did they send out a lone undead soldier.
“He’s got to be going for reinforcements. I can’t kill him that would just get him there faster.” Thinking the conundrum over in his head he decided that he would just severely knockout the demon. Quickly he jettisoned himself into the air he gave chase to the demon warrior.
Gaining quickly on the demon Chakrin did his best to keep his distance minimal yet still far enough to away if he needed to retreat. He followed patiently for what seemed like hours for a change in direction, or even better, for the demon to land.
Stopping suddenly in mid-air the undead turned around quickly with daggers pulled out and ready to throw.
“AH SHIT!” Stopping quickly Chakrin waited for the demon’s next move. “Well, what’s it gonna be?” Reaching over his shoulder Chakrin grasped the hilt of his sword, waiting to reveal it to his opponent.
“It’s Chakrin, right?” Knowing the answer before the question was asked the demon continued. “I’ve been watching you for almost six hours now and really I am impressed. If it wasn’t for your tail we never would have known about you.”
“TAIL!? What in the blue hell are you talking about Shit Break?” Scratching the back of his neck trying to conceal his sword’s whereabouts before he brought his hand back down.
“We’ve been watching a Namek warrior for sometime. What gave you away was the fact that he wasn’t following us. To be honest with you the only way we knew of your existence was the fact that after we set up camp and had started digging, only then did he see our location. It was more than clear that he had been following someone else,” Smiling as if he had just solved the puzzle, the demon finished his Sherlock Holms speech. “You.”
“How did you know my name?” Moving slowly into a fighting stance Chakrin waited for a reason to attack.
“Long story really. This may be different for you, but if you really want to know than you’ll join me.” With that said the demon dropped from the sky.
“Few people know my name. It’s gotta be a trap, but he may know something of my past.” Reluctantly, Chakrin debated the idea over in his head before he finally made a decision about what to do.
~Namek Stronghold I~
“Hey there.” Waving a hand to get Raeko’s attention.
“Oh! Hey Sacooru, want to sit down?” Scooting himself down before an answer was given Raeko made room for one more.
Shrugging like he had a choice in the matter. “Sure.” Taking a seat he grabbed a stick and started poking at the fire. “So um, Makeo tells me that you’ve got a few things on your mind.” Holding the stick over the fire he slowly turned it to let it blacken as the flame licked at the sticks nourishing fibers.
“…yeah.” Tossing another stick in the fire. “Do you think we’re gonna make it out of this alive? I mean we only have 5 dragon balls. We barely hold our own against the demon attacks and worst of all…” with tears forming in his eyes Raeko let emotion take over, “I almost died!” Taking a deep breath Raeko did his best to calm his nerves.
“I know it seems like the only end to all this IS death, but you must believe that there is a better way. We fight to save our home. To put an end to the horrors that have been brought to life. Raeko, if we don’t do everything in our power to stop these transgressions, this pillaging of our planet, than we have already died.” Watching the stick slowly catch on fire, Sacooru held it a bit longer before tossing it in.
“I understand…I think.” Standing up Raeko looked up into the night sky, “it’s amazing isn’t it?”
“That out of all those planets and stars and endless galaxy that we have been chosen to defend Namek?” Standing up next to his brother, Sacooru looked into the night sky longingly as well.
“That there is so much and that out of the billions of people alive it comes down to us saving the universe. I sometimes wish that I wasn’t here to deal with this burden.” Looking back down Raeko watched a figure running toward them through the long line of tents.
“Sheng? Hey man what’s wrong? Slow down!” Sacooru stepped forward to help stop Sheng’s sprint.
“We got a problem! A scout came back with some disturbing news!” Sheng was already turned around and headed back before he even finished.
Following closely behind they all reached the location of the scout who was still breathing heavily when they arrived.
“What’s wrong?” Raeko was jumping as he hurriedly spit out his question.
~Found II~
Chakrin followed the demon creature to the planet surface. He watched closely as he approached the ground looking around for an ambush or for some sort of trap, but to his amazement the only thing around was the demon. Standing about 10 paces away from each other Chakrin soaked in every detail that was possible to gather about the demon.
Looking down at his wrist he checked the power level and saw an impressive 5,000 read out. Averting his eyes back to the demon he took in the sight that soon had him second-guessing himself.
The black boots that seemed to be the latest fashion design for the undead were laced up to mid-shin with the pant legs tucked neatly inside them. Various pockets of different sizes could be seen on the outside of the pants. Moving up Chakrin could see that the figure looked somewhat scrawny for the clothing size, yet, somehow filled it just fine. Attached to the waist belt were small dagger like knives that all seemed to glimmer in the disappearing sunlight. Moving up from the waist, the straps coming over the shoulders crossed the stomach before attaching to the belt. The shirt covering the arms of the demon warrior was torn and battered, a sure sign of a battle worn soldier. And finally, Chakrin’s eyes made their way to the demons face. The eyes were sunk into the sockets showing the glaring yellow pupils to look back upon Chakrin. Its mouth was shut, but the razor like teeth gleamed hungrily at Chakrin as they protruded below the jaw line.
“God you’re a hideous fuckin’ piece of shit! You know that?” Unable to hold in his thoughts on the matter Chakrin released the tension from his lips as he let the insults fly.
“You always were a dick weren’t you?” Shaking his head the demon turned its back to Chakrin and walked over to a small creek.
Following slowly, Chakrin ever hesitant, made his way to the creek. Watching in awe he saw the demon shed its skin. Losing all it’s clothing, it’s skin, and even its face. Chakrin’s stomach turned as he saw the beginnings of this metamorphous take place. Soon he realized that this demon…wasn’t.
Standing completely nude next to the creek the Thing washed off the remains of its previous skin. Watching in awe the ripples of water from the waves of the moving body in the creek seemed to dance in the sunset as a beautiful woman stepped out of the river. Her body glistening in the last rays of sun as drops of water ran down her body sparkling in the light as they made each curve of her body seem endless and excruciatingly abrupt at the same time. Picking up a change of clothes the new figure dressed herself before continuing with an explanation of what had just transpired before Chakrin’s eyes.
“I am Julianna Lynn.” Grabbing a silver colored stick from her bag of goods she whipped her hair into a bun with the flick of a wrist.
“The hell you are! I just watched an ass ugly demon from hell turn into one of the most beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on! What the fuck kind of water is that?! Tapion could use some of that!” Searching for a flask to fill with water Chakrin was unsuccessful. Still amazed at what had all happened, Chakrin somehow finished his thoughts and let Julianna continue.
“I have made my way across the galaxy disguising myself as various people to make it through life. It was only recently that I heard of your win on Dark Sun, one that I must say was very interesting. It was like you had someone talking to you telling you what was going on.” Smiling she sat down and made herself comfortable.
Intrigued at her knowledge of the voices that seemed to be getting stronger as he himself grew in strength, Chakrin took a seat across from Julianna. “Why have you sought me out? Why have you taken me away from the demons excavation site for the dragon ball?”
“I am seeking refuge. I am tired of running and I would like a place to call home.” She looked at him with perfectly green eyes that seemed to look straight into his very soul.
“You are seeking more than what I have for myself! And you are definitely looking at the wrong person to bring peace into your life.” Almost letting his short temper take a hold of him, Chakrin managed to push back his frustrations to try and get more out of this seemingly resourceful woman.
“The dragon ball, I know, is very important to your cause, but it does not have the answers that you seek out. You want a past, a reason to live on. That is something that a ball cannot give you.” Never showing any sign of emotion she only answered Chakrin with aggravating words.
“You know nothing of what I am searching for, what answers I seek or anything of my past!” Unable to hold it in any longer Chakrin let his anger take over and put the woman in her place as he stood on his feet in a swift back flip.
“I know that your mother’s name was Jeanette and your father’s name is Dylan Inghart!” Bringing her hands over her mouth she sat with wide eyes watching Chakrin stop his very breathing at the words that she spoke.
“…what did you say?” In something less than a whisper Chakrin asked his question slowly as he dropped to his knees.
“…her name was Jeanette…” Looking into Chakrin’s eyes she watched closely as his hands moved to his face, Chakrin unable to fight back the tears finally broke down.
~Namek Stronghold II~
“Dionon, we need to form a search party now!” Taken back by the utter urgency in his voice Dionon stopped everything he was doing and listened to Sacooru. “Chakrin seems to have jumped ship. He was spotted by one of our scouts,” Letting his head fall in shame, “he’s joined the demons.”
“This is bad, really bad. Who do you want to take on this mission?” Dionon’s sudden shift in attention brought Sacooru back to the present.
“If you are willing to go than it would be helpful. I have a strange feeling that I need to stay with the others and help them guard the dragon balls. You can take whomever you wish just leave Raeko, Worm, and Minioshia with me.” Walking away Sacooru returned to the growing crowd of disturbed Nameks as they awaited orders.
“Makeo…he’s such a dick though…” Walking towards the ship Dionon gathered his gear before he went to find Makeo, who was still basting in the rejuvenation tank.
Banging his hand on the tank glass Dionon woke Makeo from his slumber. From the look he was getting it didn’t look like Makeo wanted to be disturbed. Pushing a few buttons Dionon let the tank unhook from Makeo and open so that he could tell him what was going on.
“You son of a bitch! It echoes like a bitch in there! Don’t ever do that again!” Showing his malcontent towards Dionon; Makeo got out and dressed himself as Dionon explained what was going on.
“So basically, Chakrin knows exactly where the dragon balls are located here. He also knows the whereabouts of another dragon ball. The one he is currently obtaining?” Summing up Dionon’s speech Makeo made sure the details fit the puzzle.
“Right.”
“And we are to go and get Chakrin…and bring him back here?” Scratching his head Makeo thought through the process once more and was still questioning the mission.
“Yes, we have to get Chakrin, now preferably, you know before he comes back with re-enforcements. Are you listening at all?” Dionon wasn’t about to let this trivial matter upset him and he was doing a very good job at not letting it show on his face, but somewhere inside he knew that the story didn’t sound all that clear either, but he wasn’t leading this operation and if catching Chakrin would mean an explanation to everything than that was what he was after.
“Well, you comin’ or not?” Standing in the doorway, Makeo waited patiently for Dionon to come back to reality so they could head off to find Chakrin. “We’ll stop and pick up Sheng on the way out of camp.”
~Found III~
“Listen I don’t have time for this right now! I’ve got to get that dragon ball. The future of this planet depends on it!” Realizing that this date of his had taken more time than he would have liked, Chakrin got in gear and prepared himself for a battle of utmost importance.
“Wait! There is no way you’ll make it in that camp alive! No without becoming a prisoner yourself.” Standing in front of Chakrin as if trying to stop him.
“I’ll be fine. You need to go back to your ship or something, somewhere safe. I don’t really know and for some reason I almost don’t care right now. What I do know is that if you don’t get out of my way I’ll move you myself!” Glaring down at Julianna, he made his intentions clear.
Looking back up at him she could see that he really didn’t want to fight with her, but it was also obvious that this dragon ball he was searching for had an important role in his life. Stepping back she told him that she had nowhere to go. Reluctantly, he told her to gather her things so that he could show her the way to the Namek base.
Together they traveled back to the mountains that surrounded the demon’s excavation site mere hours before the sunrise would conquer the horizon.
“Just head due east for about an hour and then south for about a day. It’s a long trip, but it’s a safe haven.” Finishing his directions he bit his lip as he watched her turn towards the brightening horizon.
“Chakrin? Would you object to a small token of my thanks?” Sounding somewhat distant Julianna raised a final question to him.
With a confused look on his face he simply shook his head. Facing Chakrin she held out a coiled rope.
“What’s this?”
“A friend of mine from earth gave it to me after a movie we did together. He told me that he wouldn’t need it anymore and that I could have it. He even signed it.” Letting it unravel she held it in her hand and showed Chakrin the signature.
“Harrison Ford”
“Who the hell is Harri…” stopping himself quickly he smiled and thanked her for the gift. Chakrin pointed Julianna in the right direction of the base. She left with a smile and a quick scan of his body. Quickly and silently, Chakrin made his way towards the demon’s location. He was now alone again to deal with the demons and the recovery of the dragon ball.
~Deadly Evasion I~
Using death-defying acrobatics and his heightened speed, Chakrin was now on the run. Holding tightly to the dragon ball he struggled to find a way out of the base.
“This was a great idea Chakrin!” Talking to himself as he spotted a way out of the excavation site he continued on with his motivation. “Hell of a way to get some attention!” Dodging his attackers he headed hard and fast for the exit. “Just gotta get out of here alive!”
At a full sprint the green, 210 pound, muscled Namek was a freight train. Barreling his way through his attackers he made it through the first couple demons without a problem. Rendering the few that had dared to stop him unconscious with quick kicks to the back of their necks or to their temporal lobes. Despite his best efforts, Chakrin was slowly becoming surrounded by demons. Thinking quickly Chakrin finished off the second wave of attackers and set the dragon ball on the ground. Stepping forward through the circle of demons the leader made his presence known.
“Return the ball and your life will be quickly ended. Keep it, and we will kill you slowly.”
“Oh gimme a break! I stole this fair and square!” Placing a foot on the ball he rolled it back and forth under his foot as if it were a soccer ball. “Let’s work something out, we both have things that the other needs. I want out of this damned shit hole excavation site and you want, apparently world domination.” Making bunny ears with his fingers, Chakrin mocked the demons that had surrounded him. “Now then,” rolling the ball in front of him as he walked forward, “I can make that happen…IF!” Sliding his foot under the ball as it rolled back he quickly kicked the ball into the air high above his head.
“If what!” Bellowed the demon leader as he watched it sail above his head, his nostrils flaring in anger.
“If you can catch the ball…” Grinning widely Chakrin barred his fangs as the demon answered back with a puzzled look on his face.
Looking up again the demon watched the Dragon Ball continue to rise into the night sky. With this distraction working to full effect, Chakrin quickly gathered energy and stepped forward with his fist in a wide arc following swiftly behind. Sending the energy to his left hand he watched as his knuckles as they started to spark as they nearing the demons raised jaw.
Before the demon could react he was struck across the right side of his face with a tazered fist. Immediately the victim sailed back into a few of the lesser powerful soldiers, knocking them into the dirt and over the edge of a nearby pit.
As if shooting a gun at a race, the surrounding forces were mobilized to attack. Back flipping over the attackers Chakrin kicked out of the flip hitting a demon squarely in the back. Landing on his feet he watched the demons collide as the bowling ball of the group flew into the rest, taking out a good number of demons.
Walking forward back into what was left of the attackers he defended himself remarkably well as a dozen at a time charged and fell at Chakrin’s feet. Keeping his fists and feet charged as best he could he was able to fight and shock his way to victory. Making his way through the crowd he could feel his power draining faster as he kept his tazered fists charged. Stopping this flow of power he relied strictly on his fighting ability.
Moving to his preferred stance he did a quick movement of his hands before he let his aura explode around him. From an aerial view a deep blue light erupted from the middle of the excavation site. The resulting release of power from Chakrin forced the demons to back off allowing him a few more precious feet of space.
“Let’s end this now!” Charging up to his full potential he unleashed his aura in a dust cloud of swirling confusion before launching an offensive on the other world creatures.
Glancing up to find the Dragon Ball, Chakrin slowly, but surely moved the whole battle to follow the descending arc.
Slowly, Chakrin took out the demons that hadn’t yet realized that he was much higher in strength than they were. Pulling the whip out of his belt he used it with uncanny expertise. He tripped, hung, and otherwise incapacitated his enemies.
Finally Chakrin had reached the point where his massive soccer kick with the Dragon Ball would end up. The demons were still coming at Chakrin, but he was slightly gaining the upper hand as he thinned out the fighting crowd. As he grabbed a demon by the throat he smiled widely showing his radiantly white set of teeth to his enemy before he looked up and then back at the demon.
“Your outta herre!” Just as he finished his statement the Dragon Ball made its appearance. Smashing down on the demons head the ball crushed the thick skull splattering the brains and blood over everything in a fifteen-foot radius of the impact.
Immediately the demons stopped attacking and began to question how they would defeat such a worthy foe. Then, with Chakrin holding the Dragon Ball covered in brains and blood of the last demon he tossed the ball in the air towards the demons.
Their eyes widened as they watched the ball come closer. You could almost see their eyes change into small little orange balls, until it stopped.
Holding the end of a very long rope was Chakrin. This same whip that had played a role in a few earthling movies was now helping Chakrin win his battle. It was wrapped securely around the Dragon Ball stopping its forward progress and forcing the ball to drop to the Namekian dirt.
“You didn’t think I was just gonna give it to you did ya?”
These words seemed to be the last draw for these otherwise weak demons. As the hissing and snarling began it was soon ended as the leader of this group recovered from his paralysis and stepped forward.
“You’re strong. If we didn’t have this next trick up our sleeves we might have let you walk.” Grinning, the demon could only chuckle as his face was still slightly numb for his shock therapy.
In unison, the demons paired up. No sense of strong or weak determined the match up, they just moved together. Then they gave themselves room to move and it even looked like the ranks had grown a few stronger.
“I’m sure you know by now that two is stronger than one. I’m sure you also know that a technique makes this possible. Fusion.” With that said each pair of demons began their own individual movements. Moving methodically, rhythmically, they danced. Chakrin could only watch in horror as the ballet continued as each set of demons ended the dance and chants with the touch of an index finger from both hands.
“You see young warrior. My pitiful army that you so easily tore through earlier is now half the man power it was…and twice the strength it used to be.” Stepping aside the leader gave Chakrin a view of his new adversaries. Each with new strengths and each slightly larger more defined than the original two.
“Well this could get worse I suppose.” Slightly pulling on the whip the Dragon Ball once again became airborne as it traveled back into Chakrin’s grasp.
~Search Party I~
“Sacooru were ready. I have also gathered 20 other warriors that are willing and able.” Dionon stood in front of Sacooru as he spoke quickly and to the point.
“Good. Raeko, Worm, Mini, and I will stay incase of an attack. The scout said that Chakrin was about 30 minutes away at his full speed. I think that your search party should be able to make the trip in 45 minutes to an hour.” Sacooru spoke loud enough for everyone to hear before he pulled Dionon aside to speak with him privately.
“What is it Sacooru.”
“I know that the demons are getting stronger. You must at all cost, retrieve that Dragon Ball and Chakrin. We need to fin…” Trailing off Sacooru closed his eyes. “Someone approaches the camp.”
“Sacooru! Someone is trying to make it to the base.” The yells came from the guards as they looked on. “It doesn’t look to be a demon.”
Grabbing a pair of binoculars Sacooru searched the area. He found the woman. She looked to have been traveling a long way and looked like she was extremely tired. Stumbling every step she continued to march forward towards the camp.
“Send some people to help her.” Sacooru hung the binoculars back on the wall as he continued to talk to Dionon.
“Things may be slightly different now. Let’s question this new face for motives, before you lead that search party.”
~Home I~
“I have seen Chakrin. He hasn’t turned on you at all.” Grabbing another leg of beast of the table Julianna filled her mouth and drank it all down with some homemade Namek wine.
“Our scout says otherwi…” Sacooru who was questioning the woman was quickly interrupted.
“AND I SAY HE’S FIGHTING FOR A DRAGON BALL FOR YOU PEOPLE AND YOUR TOO DAMNED STUPID TO SEE THAT!!” Slamming her hands down on the table she rose to her feet in defiance. “He’s in a demon excavation site right now. If he hasn’t already been found out than he is fighting for his life!”
Taken back by the woman’s bold and almost “Chakrin” like attitude, Sacooru sat down in a chair unsure of what he should do next.
“How far is it?”
Sitting back in her seat she replied without hesitation, “Just on the other side of that mountain range where I was coming from when you found me.”
“It’s settled than. I’m sorry for having doubted you, please…forgive me.” Standing to his feet he left the tent and Julianna to eat in peace.
~Search Party II~
“We have to go through Mt. Enzar pass to reach Chakrin. If we go around than it will take us three full days to reach him. I’m afraid that it’ll be too late for him by then. I know this brings a lot of doubt and even fear into your hearts. If are having second thoughts, please back out now. No one will think less of you for doing so.” Standing before a large group of Nameks, Sacooru explained the situation. “I will not be going on this search with you. I feel the need to stay here is just as important as it is to find Chakrin. Please, follow Dionon and Makeo they will guide you through the pass.” Stepping down from the podium like structure he turned away and went into the solitude of his own tent.
Looking around Dionon took the reigns.
“This is it. Stay if you like or come with us. Regardless of your choice, no actions will be taken against you by any of us. We leave in five minutes, if you’re going assemble at the front gate. That is all.” Walking away from the group Dionon made a path through the Nameks that had gathered. Making a small parting in the group as he did so. Following him, Sheng and Makeo also walked past the Namek warriors towards the front gate.
~Deadly Evasion II~
Checking his scanner, Chakrin looked on in shock as the read outs of each of the new demons was severely increased. The majority of the demons were at a remarkable 12,000, some less some more. Looking over the group Chakrin picked out the two sets of demons that had failed to us the fusion correctly. Walking into the midst of the demon group Chakrin held the Dragon Ball in his hand. Standing in front of the two demons he smiled slightly as he tilted his head.
“I am Chakrin. I will kill you in less than ten seconds,” turning his head to the other demon, “both of you.”
Laughing and demonic snorts of all kinds erupted from the group. The leader quickly approached and ordered the demons to give them space so Chakrin could prove himself. As a circle formed around the three figures the demon laughed as he pulled out some sort of time keeping devise and held it in his hand.
“Let me know when you are ready to die Namek.” The leader whom Chakrin was unable to get a clear read out from was waiting patiently for a signal to start the time.
Dropping the Dragon Ball, the demons watched it roll over the whip stopping as the whip was only so long.
“You may start the time.” Grasping the whip in his left hand he stood motionless for a few seconds.
Closing his eyes he listened as the demons tried to move silently to his sides. Grinning, still with his eyes closed, Chakrin yanked on the whip. Ducking quickly the Dragon Ball flew over his head nailing the demon in the face, crushing it with ease. Looking at the fight, the demons watched as the Dragon Ball rested in the demon’s head. Chakrin spun on his heel, knocking the feet out from under the other demon. Quickly he launched himself into the air shoving his knee into the back of the demon. Immediately, a horrible crunching of bone and painfully eerie screams came from the demon. As it rose into the air Chakrin pulled out his samurai sword and cut the demon’s head off. Returning to his original place and stance he tugged in the Dragon Ball. The suction from the blood and brains of the demon made a sickening noise as the bloody Dragon Ball flew in front of Chakrin nailing the still falling demon between the legs. Pulling back on the whip he caught the ball in his hand before the two lifeless demons hit the ground.
“Time.” Standing silent Chakrin waited for a reply.
“Seven seconds. Not bad Namek, not bad.” Applauding Chakrin for his deed the demon leader walked around the circle before exiting, leaving Chakrin to deal with the bulked up army of 18 demons.
Holding the now crimson dripping sword in one hand and the scratched and bloody Dragon Ball in the other, Chakrin looked very powerful.
“Who’s next?”
~Search Party III~
Leaving the front gate, Dionon looked on as only a handful of warriors took up arms. Still set on finding Chakrin, Dionon pressed on as a few of the Nameks followed behind him. Sacooru looked on from his tent as he could see Dionon, Makeo, and Sheng lead a group of roughly six or seven warriors.
“Good luck my friends.” Turning away from the window Sacooru decided to stay near the Dragon Balls as much as possible to keep them safe.
“All this work to get Chakrin? The bastard probably doesn’t give a shit about us anyways.” Sheng spoke under his breath, but in the deadly silent night everyone heard him.
“Keep your thoughts to yourself.” Makeo replied quickly. “Or I’ll shut it for you.”
Dionon scanned the area as the approached Mt. Enzar. The wind around these mountain peaks blew forcefully as they came closer. Soon snow was falling, the wind gusts becoming more of a hazard.
“We are gonna have to hoof it.” Dionon guided the team to a cliff on the mountainside.
“Keep your guard up. Wild beasts of all strengths live in these mountains; you would be wise to watch your own back.” One of the Nameks that decided to make the trip spoke up warning the team of some of the dangers of the mountains.
“We will keep that in mind, thank you friend.” Dionon began the hike up the mountain. Flying where he could to save time. “To think that this is faster than going around.” Continuing onward the team made there way to a small cave.
“Dude, this sucks.” Sheng was now breathing heavily as he and a few of the other warriors rested.
Makeo was standing at the entrance of the cave. His clothing moved in the wind like water in a stream.
“Ok from here on out if you fall behind just backtrack and head back home. We don’t have time to dilly-daddle around. It sounds harsh, but slowing us down at this point could prove to be fatal to Chakrin. Gather your things and let’s go.” Heading back out into the cold air Dionon lead the way.
~Deadly Evasion III~
They attacked all at once. They moved with increased speed and had the stamina of a Kentucky Derby racehorse. Over and over again they charged at Chakrin and each time he was able to defend the Dragon Ball and inflict some damage on a different demon. Rarely did his sword or the swinging of the Dragon Ball touch the same demon.
“How long does this fusion last, 10, 20 minutes?” Thinking to himself Chakrin could only hope that he could hold off the demons until they split back to their original forms.
“You bastards aren’t getting a fuckin’ thing from me! Do you hear me?!” Yelling at the demons in anger and hate Chakrin once again fought off an attack.
Knowing that the breaks in the attacks were becoming shorter and shorter he took the time to ready an attack of his own. Waiting for the demons to once again ambush him from all directions, Chakrin let his power become known. Exploding in the dark blue aura filled with electric currents and the occasional lightening jumping away from the expanding mushroom of power, Chakrin let the demons have a taste of electricity.
Though he wasn’t nearly as strong as the demons he had somehow managed to inflict great amounts of damage on those that weren’t able to stop in time. Holding this filed of electricity for a brief moment was enough to give him a breather from the attacks. As he let the power go he could see and hear the bodies of smoldering demon corpses at his feet.
“Three more.” Taking count in his head Chakrin knew that using that much power would never work to get out of this mess in one piece. He needed to think of another way to defeat these demons before they killed him.
~Search Party IV~
Traveling on the outside of the mountains proved to be fatal, as they had lost two of the Namek warriors. One was killed by an avalanche and the other by an attack from a pack of White Fangs. Together the remaining six members of the group continued forward to the cave of Mt. Enzar.
Making it into the cave they proceeded on from the horrendous winds of the freezing mountain air to the amazingly creepy silence of the cave. This cave, carved right through the mountain over thousands of years by the rushing waters of Elder’s River. The river flowed through the caves of Mt. Enzar until they broke free from the bindings of rock and ice. The waterfall, where the Elders rested came from this very river. Its unknown source came from somewhere within the mountain.
“Ok, here’s the deal.” Climbing up on a rock so that he could see the other five members of the group, Dionon told them what needed to be done and the urgency of the task. He informed them that as long as they stuck to the bigger passages that they would make it to the other side with no problem. Wrapping up his motivating speech he pointed in the direction they needed to go and took up the rear as Sheng lead the way.
For the most part they had little in the way of obstacles that slowed them down. Occasionally, they were attacked by a wild beast looking for food, but they fought them and continued their journey.
Makeo kept to himself, while Sheng was more open about his thoughts. The Namek warriors that had joined in the search for Chakrin stayed silent, as they did not want to disturb the Elder’s rest. Though Enzar was less and less taboo to the natives it was still considered a very holy place and in so, they treaded lightly as precautionary measures.
Dionon was taking readings of the cave when he was surprised to see a blip on his radar.
“A Dragon Ball, in here?”
Immediately the group stopped and turned to Dionon, who was still unaware that he was talking out loud.
“Hey, Dio. What are you blabbering about?” Sheng spoke up first and asked the question that seemed to be on everyone’s mind.
“Hmm what?” Dionon looked up with eyebrows raised. “Oh! The Dragon Ball? Yeah I was taking some readings and got a hit why?”
“Well is it close by or can we pick it up on the way back or what?” Sheng was starting to get a little testy as he questioned Dionon.
“It looks like it’s down that way.” Pointing down a winding cave that seemed to go on forever into the blackness, he let the group know where it was.
“We should really go find Chakrin first. I have a feeling that it’s well guarded by some creature that doesn’t like company a whole lot.” Laughing a little Dionon got the group moving again as he marked the way on his makeshift map.
Traveling on for another 20 minutes they could see a small beam of light as they rounded a corner. To their great relieve it was an opening. Fresh air poured into the cave entrance as they stood silently to breathe in the air.
“Well, lets get the fuck out here already!” Jumping into the air Sheng blasted his way through the opening shooting out into the open air.
“Dumb ass.” Testing the air for any scent of an enemy, Makeo then left the cave.
“Well let’s go get Chakky then.” Smiling to the other Nameks he took off after Sheng and Makeo.
Together the six warriors moved out from the cave and shot down the side of Mt. Enzar, renewed with strength and vigor they traveled to the excavation site which was now in view on the horizon.
~Deadly Evasion IV~
The task to fight off the demons had proved too much for Chakrin. Slowly but surely the demons were wearing him out. He was struggling to keep himself standing, let alone to swing his sword or the Dragon Ball. Closing his eyes he listened as the demons closed in on him. Every now and then a demon would venture too close and Chakrin would have to force himself to scare it away. He was becoming too weak to put up much of a fight and the enemy knew it.
They continued to move closer to Chakrin, snapping at him or swiping their huge hands through the air to provoke him, for Chakrin his time was running out. Giving everything he could to attack a demon he reached out with his sword only to have it knocked out of his hand.
He watched in shock as the sword flew end over end until it rested with the blade sticking into the ground. Well out of reach for Chakrin.
“You sons of bitches will have to kill me before I let you have this!” Holding onto the Dragon Ball as best he could he struggled to get to his feet. Hunched over the Dragon Ball he drew in quick breaths of air as he tried to defend himself and the ball.
Snarling at him the demons closed the circle on Chakrin. They stood shoulder-to-shoulder leaning in at him they slowly moved closer and closer. Soon one of the demons stepped in the circle of death and charged at Chakrin. Unable to move out of the way Chakrin turned his back to the demon. Within seconds the demon was on him tearing at his back. Screaming in pain, Chakrin held on to the Dragon Ball. From somewhere deep inside he found the strength to retaliate. Spinning around he clocked the demon in the side of the head with the Dragon Ball. Letting the momentum carry through in his swing he fell to the ground. Opening his eyes he was staring right at the demon. It didn’t attack him or growl or snarl. Looking at its eyes Chakrin could see that they had glazed over. He had killed the demon.
Sitting up still holding onto the Dragon Ball like it was a football, he fought his way to his feet to mouth the demons once more.
“You brutal-disgusting-bottom-feeding-trash-bag-ugly-lookin-pieces-of-monkey-fuckin-ass-goblins!” Stopping to take another breath Chakrin continued. “I’ve seen better looking pieces of shit in the toilet!”
The demons were completely silenced by these comments. It was odd to see prey like this, still insulting them before it was killed.
“Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Did I studder or something? A minute ago it was like Tapion’s house on a Saturday night! Now it’s quite as a church.” His cocky attitude was enough to keep the demons confused for a few more brief seconds of life.
Untying the whip from the Dragon Ball squatted with it in his hands between his legs before jumping into the air and bringing his hands up into the sky releasing the Dragon Ball. Landing on his feet in a crouched position his left hand’s fingers touching the dirt with his right hand in the air behind him, he looked up, welcoming the demon’s attack.
“Come and get it you mother fuckers!”
~Search Party V~
“There!” Pointing in excitement Sheng saw the site that Sacooru had told them about. Quickly, he dove in his fist ready for the excitement of battle.
“Everyone, this is it! Let’s get Chakrin out of there!” Dionon followed Sheng in his dive. Catching up to him he told Sheng about the Dragon Ball that was still rising into the sky.
“Go get the Dragon Ball and stay out of sight till it’s over.” Racing past Sheng, Dionon saw the true Chakrin.
Surrounded by demons and obviously beaten and bruised he could see Chakrin giving his all as he tried to fight off the demons. Though his efforts were in vein Chakrin never failed to swing his arms or kick his feet.
Makeo was taking his time to reach the site. He could see that it was more than flowing with potential blood donors. To him there was no need to race to something that wasn’t going anywhere.
Following behind Makeo and soon passing him were the other three Namek warriors. They too, could see that Chakrin was in over his head and raced onward to help.
~Rescue I~
Knocked on his back Chakrin looked up to see something high above him grab the Dragon Ball.
“Wha…?” Laughing quietly to himself he mocked the demons as they pinned his shoulders and feet to the ground. “You’re all dead.” Laughing louder Chakrin’s voice heard over the demons. Soon the leader who had been watching the fight stepped through and towered over Chakrin.
“What are you laughing at?” Kicking Chakrin in the side as he forced out an answer.
“You all are dead and don’t know it yet.” Turning his head he coughed up some blood as he lay in the dirt.
Picking Chakrin up with one hand he held him out in front questioning his further.
“And just who in the hell is gonna kill us?”
“We are!” Answering for Chakrin was Dionon’s fist. His decent into the battle surprised everyone as his speeding fist plowed into the leaders face with enough momentum to break the leader’s neck and spin his head around so that it was facing backwards.
Jumping back the demons watched their leader drop to his knees as his body tackled Chakrin to the ground. The leader was dead.
Dionon quickly moved to Chakrin and gave him a senzu bean. Quickly Dionon fought off an attacking demon as Chakrin slowly chewed the bean, swallowing the nutrient rich bean he once again felt energy flowing through his body.
Slowly Chakrin pushed the corpse off of him and got up. He saw his sword still in the dirt calling for him to use it once again. Running between the confused demons Chakrin grabbed his sword and returned to face them.
Soon the three Namek warriors joined in the battle. Chakrin now fully healed was ready once again for action. Charging into the middle of things he sliced at demons with the sword, jumping on top of them stabbing them through the skull to kill them. Dionon and Chakrin quickly dealt with the weaker ones. Using teamwork they would distract a demon while the other moved in for the kill. Soon the 17 remaining demons had been cut down to only 12.
“Leave some for me!” Rushing in past the two warriors was Makeo. Slicing up four demons in one pass he made a path through the chaos.
Sheng had done his best to stay out of site, but being in the sky with no cloud cover made it a little hard to complete the feat. He had been spotted by one of the demons and was being chased. Doing his best to out run it, he was in a losing battle. The demon gained on him quickly. Grabbing his foot the demon yanked Sheng out of the sky, throwing him to the earth. Somewhere in the attack Sheng had lost hold of the Dragon Ball and could see it falling towards the battlefield.
Two of the warriors caught Sheng in his fall and brought him to safety on the blue soil of Namek. Telling them that he had lost the ball they moved through the slaughtering of the demons to find it resting in Chakrin’s hands.
“It’s cool baby!” Pulling off his best Conan O’Brien impersonation, Chakrin seethed his sword before reaching down to grab the whip. “Oh yeah! It’s go time!”
Tossing the ball into the air Chakrin used the whip to wrap around it to use as a weapon once more. Shaking their heads in disapproval with his use of the Dragon Ball they let Chakrin continue with his plans.
Swinging the ball above his head Chakrin did the dance of “Sheng Biao” slowing down the demon’s attacks with ease. The spinning of the Dragon Ball around Chakrin, the pure discipline that the art requires, all executed perfectly by him.
Makeo, Dionon, Sheng and the three Nameks all fought together. Fighting the demons they slowly killed them off until the demons quit attacking.
“What’s going on?” Dionon asked calmly as his punch was denied by a demon who was trying to retreat.
“They’re scared of us!” Sheng was quick to take advantage of the helpless demons, moving in for a few hits he knocked a demon to the ground and stood above him with his foot on his chest.
Makeo putting his sword away ruined Sheng’s good time. “Actually it looks like they are coming apart.”
Dionon watched as black beams of light started to come from the demons. They began to growl and claw at their bodies trying to keep the light from escaping. It proved useless as they started to split back into the original forms. Weakened by the fusion the demons knew that their end was near.
“Attack now! They can’t defend themselves!” Dionon powered up his fists and began tackling the demons as they split apart, killing them before they had a chance to regain any strength.
Sheng looked down and now say two demons looking back at him. Before he could react they both grabbed his leg and locked their teeth into his calf. The scream from Sheng was a new sound in the splattering of blood and cracking of bone. All the fighters turned to him to see what was going on.
“You dumb ass! Kick em’ in the head!” Chakrin blurting out some helpful information went on to kill more of the demons.
“Serves him right.” Makeo who was still blood free was hacking his way through the demons with his sword cutting off their heads before vaporizing their bodies with a quick ki blast.
Sheng finally able to break free ripped one of the demons heads off and without looking threw it into the air over his head. Attacking the demon that was still biting his leg, Sheng was finally able to free himself.
“Shit! Damned ankle biters!” Ripping his sleeve off he quickly patched up his ankle and stood to see what was left of the enemy.
In the silence, only a quite chuckle from Chakrin could be heard. Eventually the chuckle became a laugh and then finally an all out knee slapper. Pointing at Makeo once more Chakrin could only laugh as Sheng finally saw what was going on.
Makeo had made it through the entire battle without so much as a drop of blood getting on his clothing. It was not until the end of the battle, after all the demons had been killed that Makeo finally got dirty. Right in the middle of his back were the remains of the demon’s brains and blood that Sheng had thrown over his shoulder only seconds earlier.
Wiping his sword on a demon’s pant leg Makeo cleaned his sword before dropping it into its sheath. Appearing right in front of Sheng was Makeo. The flaring nostrils and completely pissed look on his face said it all.
“Oh shit.” Sheng’s voice was quite as the only words that came from his mouth ended his talking for the rest of the trip.
“I’ll deal with you when we get back.” Walking past Sheng who was now a very light shade of green, Makeo headed back to the mountains to search for the Dragon Ball they stumbled across earlier that day.
“What took you guys so long to get here?”
“Well, we kinda thought that you had jumped ship and so we had actually come to kidnap you really.” Dionon watched Chakrin closely as he explained what had all happened.
“I want to know the fuck that damned scout was! He’s gonna get an earful when I get back.” Taking flight Chakrin followed the now distant Makeo towards the mountains.
~Cave of Wonders~
Together the team took a break at the mouth of the cave. Sheng checked his bandages while a few of the others meditated on the events that had transpired thus far. They kept the mood light by making fun of Makeo’s bloody clothing or telling jokes. After everyone seemed like they were ready Dionon brought the map back up in his system and lead the way.
Finding the branch in the cave that would take them to the Dragon Ball was quickly spotted and they proceeded to travel towards the blinking dot on the scanners. Lighting the way with small white balls of ki energy they traveled deeper into the mountain. Nothing out of the ordinary was taking place in the cave. Stalagmites reached up towards the ceiling while the stalactites desperately reached for the floor. Small streams ran through the cave cutting out deep grooves in the walls along the path. As they traveled deeper the temperature rose ever so slightly, nothing major, just enough to be noticeable. Crawling, swimming, ducking, and jumping their way through the cave the party finally came to a huge opening in the cave. The massive cavern looked like it was 300 feet high and at least 500 feet wide. Checking his scanners Dionon didn’t find anything with a power level to worry about so they pressed on.
“Wow, this thing is huge.” Dionon was the first to speak up, sharing his thoughts with the group.
“Wow, this thing is huge.
Turning around he eyed the other five warriors that were with him.
“Dude, it was an echo.” Chakrin shot back at Dionon in a shove it kind of voice before waving his hand at Dionon to continue leading the group.
Stepping over a large rock and then sliding down the face of what seemed like a cliff they arrived at the end of the tunnel.
“According to the scanners the Dragon Ball should be right in front of us, but I’m not seeing it.” Puzzled, Dionon turned to the others without much more of an explanation.
“Let’s look around.” Sheng had made his way past everyone else and began to search a section of wall looking for the Dragon Ball.
Following Sheng’s idea they all went to separate parts of the room to search for the Dragon Ball. Turning over rocks, even smashing a few of them to see if the Dragon Ball was somehow locked inside the rocks they all came up empty handed.
“Seriously this is starting suck ass.” Sheng was now sitting on a rock with his leg propped up to better check his wound.
“Stop picking at it or it’s gonna get infected.” Replied Dionon as he continued to search his area and even the wall.
Laughing loudly Sheng came back at Dionon, “You sound like someone’s mom!”
“Mrs. Dionon.” Laughing Chakrin leaned against the wall to keep his balance.
Dionon knew it was a joke and in so he shot a small ki blast at Chakrin who dodged it easily. Exploding as the ki hit the wall, Chakrin had to cover his face so that the debris didn’t find a home in his.
“Ouch. You know those small rocks hurt when they hit ya.” Dusting off Chakrin went back to searching.
Makeo had watched the whole thing and was curious about the wall that was hit. It seemed to him that the wall wasn’t supposed to be there.
“Chakrin, move.” As an only warning Makeo shot a larger ki blast at the wall. Barely ducking away from the blast Chakrin stood up and immediately flipped off Makeo.
“Fuckin’ shit man! It was a joke for god’s sake!”
“Hey! It’s a hole!” Pointing out the obvious Sheng ran and limped over to the hole that was made in the wall.
As they gathered around it they each could see what was on the other side of the wall. A Dragon Ball. Perfectly positioned in the secret room on a pedestal, it sat in a beam of light with the tiny stars sparkling slightly as the beam of light was filtered through the ceiling.
“Excellent! Let’s grab it and get the hell out of here.” Chakrin was the first to start pulling the wall apart to make a larger opening. Dionon checked out the room and it too was empty aside from the Dragon Ball.
Pulling away the final boulder like rock the group stepped into the chamber. High above them was an opening in the room. Before anyone moved for the Dragon Ball the checked the room over for traps. Sheng flew up and checked out the opening at the top of the cave and came back with some not so great news.
“It’s the size of my fist.” Holding his hand out for a visual.
“Well, a hole means a weakness in structure so we can use that to our advantage. We just have to make sure we can break through it.” Looking up at the light Dionon came up with a plan.
Makeo was to grab the Dragon Ball and race to the opening incase of a trap. Sheng, Dionon, Chakrin, and the three Nameks would all use their most powerful attack to blow a hole in the ceiling allowing Makeo to get out.
“Now we have to have this timed perfectly. If we shoot too late Makeo collides with the ceiling. If we shoot too early, Makeo is going to get buried in rock. We have to be able to blast it open just as he is reaching the hole so that the rocks are shot out giving him a clear exit from the cave.” Explaining the severity of the plan Dionon set the positions of everyone and calculated the speed of Makeo to the distance to the ceiling. With everyone in the perfect place for the break out, Makeo hovered to the pedestal with the Dragon Ball on it. Waving his hand he let them know he was ready.
“Start charging you power.” Slowly, they all brought the auras to their full potential. Forming energy in the palms of their hands or above their heads they continued to charge the attacks. As a few reached max levels they held it as best they could not releasing the power, but struggling to keep it steady as a few others just reached the maximum.
“Makeo NOW!” Yelling down at him Dionon gave the go ahead. “Guys on my count fire away!”
Grabbing the ball firmly, Makeo powered up for maximum speed and rocketed himself in the air. Immediately the pedestal dropped into a black hole. Followed by the surrounding floor of the room. From the walls nearly thousands of thousands of arrows came from all directions. Starting at floor level and moving up the walls behind Makeo.
“3!”
Makeo knew that the trap was trying to claim him as its new victim, but he was able to pour more energy into his speed and slowly made some distance on the arrows.
“2!”
With the power starting to burn through their bodies the warriors continued to hold it in longer as they slowly raised the ki in strength.
“1!”
Eagerly awaiting Makeo’s arrival the warriors watched him close in on them with the now millions of arrows following him as he came closer and closer to the exit.
“NOW!!!!”
Releasing the blast at once the warriors unloaded on the ceiling. At first the blast just seemed to stop at the small hole, but eventually they started pushing chunks of the ceiling away.
“MORE!”
Pressing harder into the blast they all felt the fatigue kick in as the ceiling finally broke free releasing the blasts into the air and forcing the fist sized hole to become the size of a large truck. Shooting the earth and rock high into the air they stopped with their blast and made a break for the exit, just as Makeo flew out through the middle of the hole. Cheers quickly followed as the warriors checked for further injuries and to make sure that everyone was still alive.
Drained of energy they group traveled slowly from the opening to the plains in the distance. They stayed quite for must of the trip back to the base as it took a lot more energy to stay in the air after having used so much to break open the earth.
~Home II~
Arriving close to three o’clock in the morning the search party returned victorious. As they explained what had happened and how they defeated the demons to the others the night slowly turned to dawn into morning. They were exhausted from the trip and now that they were home they could rest and recover from the wounds they had received.
The base never suffered an attack while the search party was gone. Sacooru had meditated on the issues and even had another chance to talk to Piccolo. Things seemed to be working out for the better of the Namek planet and for its peoples.
~Days Later~
“So who was the scout that followed me?” Chakrin had found a bullhorn and was yelling in it at 7:00 a.m. “Wake up you green bastards! Who was it?!” Walking up and down the rows of tents and houses Chakrin’s voice boomed through the horn as he threatened the poor scout that had followed him.
“It was I”
Turning around Chakrin saw a very lean warrior. His upper body was defined with taut muscles that he flexed to try and intimidate Chakrin from continuing his current manhunt.
Grinning slightly Chakrin approached the warrior.
"Next time you follow me its gonna be worse.” Eye to eye Chakrin stared down the Namek.
“Worse than what?”
Kicking the Namek between the legs Chakrin explained what he meant, as the Namek grabbed for his package Chakrin hit him with an amazingly supreme uppercut. Sailing through the air the Namek crashed hard in the dirt.
“Next time I cut em’ off!”
