Leaving Home Scene setter- early morning, sun is just coming up over the horizon. At Master Tapion’s house, Chakrin is packing his gear when a girl that he has been trying to impress for the longest time stops by to wish him luck. He’s talking to himself as he packs up the last few things left on the bed…
“…I get to save a wildly crazed monster from some stupid hunters! I’m going to end up getting shot or killed or both! All at once I bet! And all Tapion could give me were these horrible smelling beans! Examining them in his hand. “They smell like carrots and throw-up. Ahh that could gag a maggot!” said Chakrin as he took a big whiff of the beans. “It smells like hot-sick-ass in a dead carcass. O! Even stink would say that stinks. It’s like that smell in an apartment building when you smell other peoples cooking on each floor and you go, what are they cooking? That plus crap…!” Quickly covering his mouth trying not to barf. “Mmmhpf! What the hell do they do anyways? Screw it! I’m bringing some more stuff…lets see here, first aid kit, water, change of clothes, what else? Air mattress, portable a/c unit, 12 person tent, propane stove, pots and pans, eating utensils, fuzzy slippers, game-boy, 30 packs of batteries, hair brush, toenail clippers, shampoo and conditioner, rubber ducky, lubricant, some kick ass reading material…”
“Do you really need all that extra crap? Here take this…” came a girl’s voice from behind him. Eyes wide, Chakrin throws the reading material out the window into the garbage-can before regaining his composure and turning around to see the girl that wouldn’t even give him the time of day in public, right here in his very own room!
“What is it?” he asks very cautiously. “And how long have you been standing there?”
“Long enough to know that you need a girl…or something…” She said as she picked up the lubrication. “Your secret is safe with me,” she said smiling as she pocketed it.
“That’s not for me!” he said hurriedly. Feeling his face getting warm from embarrassment.
“Here this might help you on your trip.” She handed him a small parcel trying to change the topic.
“Ok, um thanks!” Taking the small parcel and stowing it away in his bag.
“So, Chakrin”, as she slowly walked a little closer, “would you like some company on your camping trip?” as she bites her bottom lip.
Dropping his bag from nervousness and dumping just about everything out. Completely flaberghasted, Chakrin stumbled to say something.
“…Ummmm, wow! Aren’t you…why are you… how… bu… but umm I’m confused,” Scratching his head, “since when did you take such interest in me? Did you forget that I’m the strange looking guy in town?” Watching her hips as she walks a little closer, trying to stuff everything back into the bag without taking his eyes off her.
“I don’t know I just guess that you’re not like the other guys around here…” As she stepped closer still.
“You think! I’m green for crying out loud!” cutting here off before she can say anything else.
“I know that smart ass!” Hitting him rather hard on the shoulder. “But it’s other stuff that I never really thought about until the other day when you were wrestling with the other guys. It just seemed like it was nothing for you to pick em’ up and throw em’ around. And your horrible sense of humour that never ceases to amaze me. It’s hard for me to explain it ok?” As she turned around quickly letting her hair do that cool sexy girl swoosh thing.
Looking at her with the people’s eyebrow, “yeah, I guess so…um I’m not the best at this talking stuff so um…I’m going to go before I do something else stupid” picking up the bag as even more stuff falls out again. "Too late." walking past her out the door and down the steps of the porch.
“Hey, wait!” running out of the house behind him yelling.
“Yeah?” Turning quickly to see what she wants, just in time to get tackled by her.
“Ummph!” landing hard, “A simple tap on the shoulders would have sufficed you know?” Chakrin said, as he tries to sit up.
Looking into her eyes, never having been this close to her before he notices that she has a strange glow to her eyes and he could somehow feel a weird power level change in her body.
“Is she nervous or going to shoot me?” he thought.
“Sorry, Chakrin…I just wanted to give you this…” She said slightly moving closer to him.
“Give me wha…” but before he could finish asking she kissed him softly.
“…That…” as she pins him down before giving him a peck on the lips and then slowly getting off of him and standing up. Smiling and brushing her hair out of her eyes she heads back to her house.
“…Um…. thanks?!” Trying to not hit maturity as he talked. Dusting himself off he watches her walk away until she’s around the corner before grabbing the now empty bag. “Son of a bitch!” looking down at the cluttered ground. “Screw it, screw it all!” Throwing everything onto the porch except the smelly beans and the wrapped package, looking up into the sky thinking, “Women…never gonna understand em’…” as he turns and head off toward the forest, smiling like he had just won a million zenni…
Forest 1
Slowly walking through the forest of greenery, down the familiar path of his training days, he reminisces about old times of carrying hundreds of pounds of water back to the house to use for the week. Having Tapion tell him that he could do it with one hand tied behind his back, about his first real battle with the bullies that have since befriended him. Laughing out loud as he passes the now dead patch of earth, (more on that story yet to come), Chakrin causes the birds to stop singing for a few seconds before they go back to there loud and often obnoxious chirping. In the early morning light the forest is alive with various animals gathering food and jumping across the path ahead of him.
After a few hours of walking and thinking about old times he gets a strange feeling that he’s being watched. Without giving knowledge to the onlookers he slightly increases his pace until he’s running. Jumping and ducking and flipping over and under branches ever increasing his speed until everything is a blur of green and brown. As Chakrin reaches the great waterfall he leaps as far as he can into the open air, he turns back to see who or what is behind him. Three figures were watching him fall; all are dressed in fatigues with more than just camping gear. All of them are equipped with rifles and many other explosives on their uniforms.
“I thought Tapion said they were hunters?!” squinting his eyes Chakrin looks even harder at them to see that they are joined by two more stragglers gasping for air before the leader aims his rifle at Chakrin and fires.
“Holy crap! They’re f*#@ing shooting at me!!!” With his keen since of vision he watches a bullet race toward him at blinding speeds, holding his hand out to the side he charges a Destructo disk and watches the bullet speed closer until it explodes in a massive smoky-white cloud. It’s a net! Quickly he throws the disk and slices the net in two. “Good lord that was close!” turning back toward the water as it rushes toward his face, he takes a deep breathe of air before slicing into the water and swimming straight to the bottom looking for the underwater cave.
As he makes his way toward the cave he notices something odd about the way the fish are swimming. Something is different but what could it be? The current is slowly increasing, pulling him deeper into the lake.
“The geyser is going to erupt soon,” he thought, forming a huge smile across his face as he swam faster toward the cave. “I have to make it to the geyser feed.” Eventually, he makes his way to the underwater cave and crawls up inside it for another quick breath of air before diving into one of the several holes of water and letting the insanely fast current pull him through at break-neck speeds.
Deer and other forest animals are peacefully grazing in the field of clovers completely oblivious to the geyser about to erupt. With such a normal daily activity it often goes without a glance from any of the animals. This time its different. As the geyser erupts a new “thing” is shot out into the air high above everything nearby, yelling various obscenities with the joy of such a rush. Immediately, the animals scatter into the forest as “it” falls back the ground landing hard. Slightly indenting the ground with its left foot and right knee and just slightly with its right hand (like Morphous did in the dojo fight with Neo, for a visual).
“God that never gets old! I remember when I couldn’t make it to the underwater cave and now I’m underwater for 8 minutes at a time! That small little water-world trip cut my distance in half. It should give me a few days time on those guys. Man I can’t believe this. I had to pass up a chance to possibly mess up my bed sheets with a hottie to baby-sit a freaking killing machine. How magical this will be! What a great idea…I’m glad I accepted this one. God I must be an idiot for this. Wonder what she thinks of me for saying “no” to her? O well, I’ll use my “different ness” to get out of any kind of weird questions.”
Turning toward the forest Chakrin once again heads off to protect and serve the great Wrawrck. Making his way through the forest, it gets thicker and denser with every step. Looking up he notices that the branches are perfectly positioned for a much easier route.
“Screw this, these thorns suck ass!” as he jumps into the tree. And carefully looks around. At first it just looked like conveniently placed limbs, but then it started to come together. He was in a city! “Wow, this is awesome!” Walking along the branches past various hollowed out trees with closable doors making them almost invisible to the naked eye, he starts to notice eyes staring as he passes, watching him, possibly measuring his stats. He slows down his walk as he carefully looks around him waiting for an ambush…waiting too long…
A spear is thrown from behind him. He is able to easily dodge it with a high back flip, letting the spear fly past him at a high speed. As he lands another spear slices into the branch between his legs leaving very little room to breath easy.
“All-right you bastards, come out! Show yourselves!” he yells, now getting angry with these games and the thought of almost losing his nuts.
Through the shadows he can see many figures step forward just enough for the light to make a sillouete of each one of them…many thousands of each one of them. Until the apparent leader steps forward and says,
“You are on forbidden ground.” “What is your name…what is your purpose here?” Staring at the leader taking in every aspect of him, Chakrin couldn’t believe that these people even existed. They seemed to be too thin to stand; yet they were all very toned. They all looked the same to him, except for the markings on their faces; it didn’t look like any of them had the exact same tattoo-like marks. They were very dark colored, possibly to blend in better with the trees and shadows. They didn’t seem to be wearing any clothes but it didn’t look like they needed them either. The one detail that he couldn’t ignore was that all of them were holding spears. Not one of them was without a spear.
“I am Chakrin, dedicated student of Master Tapion. I am traveling in search of a cave. He has sent me to protect Wrawrck from the hunters in the woods.”
After what seemed like an hour of a staring contest the leader of these forest people stepped forward and offered his hand in peace.
“All right that’s more like it! You people should really be more courteous to visitors” Reaching out toward his hand that weird feeling once again returned, but before he can react the forest guy grabs his hand and flips Chakrin over his shoulders dropping him flat on his back ending this smooth fluid-like motion with a spear pointed between his eyes.
“I thought we were friends?! What’s up Doc!?!” As Chakrin slowly raises his hands to show that he is willing to cooperate with them peacefully.
“SILENCE!” echoed through the forest and almost as quickly as the spear had been pointed at his face, the very same forest guy was standing at attention as though Chakrin didn’t exist…
Back At The Waterfall
“What the hell was that!” said the leader. “And where were you two?! You were supposed to catch him, what happened?” Now having anger take over in his voice.
“Sir, we did catch him!” said the first straggler.
“Yes, sir we did, for .005 seconds he was within our nets!” smiling widely as if it mattered.
“YOU IDIOTS!” Replied the leader. Raising his hand toward the two like they were children in need of a spanking.
After a few moments of silence one of the other hunters spoke up. “Sir?”
“Yes,” said the leader turning away from the two stragglers. Trying to regain some lost composer.
“We’ve lost him, he’s not on the radar anymore. I think he went into an underwater cave.”
“WHAT! How the hell can that be possible?” Grabbing the scanner from the hunter. “This lake is almost a half a mile deep! There’s no way he went to the bottom!” He yelled back angrily. “Fix this damned contraption immediately!” Throwing it back at the hunter he snatched it from.
“Sir, it’s not broken. He just showed up again on the radar. He’s about 2 and half…” Trailing off at the end of his sentence.
“He’s what?” asked the leader now getting frustrated again.
“Sir, he’s ummmm he’s about a 2 and a half days travel from here…sir.” Replied the hunter.
“No freakin’ way in hell!” Grabbing the scanner looking at it again. “Well, I’ll be jiggered.” Said the leader almost laughing at the thought of being outwitted be a mere teenage boy. “Find the quickest route possible for us, until then were gonna stop here and rest.” Walking away he kicks at the water, almost slipping.
Forest 2
“YOU!” boomed the loud voice, stand up and present yourself to me.
“…What the f*#k?” Chakrin thought as he slowly stood up glaring at the forest guy that had previously knocked him down in the blink of an eye.
“NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO PASS THROUGH THESE WOODS!” said the voice. “YOU ARE TRESSPASSING AND SHALL NEVER LEAVE THESE WOODS…ALIVE!”
“Master Tapion has sent me to protect Wrawrck and I shall not let him down.” Said Chakrin starting to get angry at the thought of never seeing the girl again.
“IF TAPION HAS SENT YOU, THEN YOU WILL HAVE THE APPROPRIATE OFFERINGS!” replied the voice. Growing louder and closer.
Searching his pockets noticing he has been robbed during the brief scuffle he looks down toward the hands of the forest guy to see a swinging parcel dangling from his hand. Quickly Chakrin grabs the bag, glaring as he did so.
“I believe I have what is needed to pass through here.” Replied Chakrin slowly, not really sure if he was supposed to give them the beans or the small parcel that the girl had given him.
“GOOD!” replied the voice. “Hand them to me.” Out of nowhere a new figure appeared right in front of Chakrin almost nose to nose with him, looking exactly like the others only taller and much older looking in the eyes. He had gray hair on his chest in a perfectly formed Spade. Staring right in to his eyes, open mouthed breathing into his face, completely catching Chakrin off guard.
“WHOA!” exclaimed Chakrin backing up a few steps. “Breath mint, dude! Jeez!” Fanning the air with his free hand.
“The offering,” said the new leader, holding out his hands, cupped together.
Slowly Chakrin stepped forward as he reached into the bag and pulled out the two beans, still ripe in their pungent aroma. Carefully placing them in the leaders hands and slowly backing up, waiting for the worst to come. Slowly the leader started to grin, moving his hands above his head until they were as far above him as possible. Then all around Chakrin the other forest people started to bow down and chant. As he turned toward the leader, Chakrin noticed that the beans started to grow very rapidly. Wrapping their vines around the leaders arms and down his body until they took root in the tree. And then the leader disappeared leaving the roots to grow down toward the branch and then to the ground 100’s of feet below. All Chakrin could do was stand there and watch in awe.
“Those seeds keep us alive.” this came from the quick forest guy that had previously flipped Chakrin. He too was watching in awe as the roots grew into an unbelievable site.
“…So those seeds are like your air?” asked Chakrin, still not quit understanding the whole thing.
“More or less, they produce a fruit that gives us immense strength. We were the only race on this planet that could handle the responsibility of such an awesome power. Master Tapion is the only one that knows how to produce them.” He said looking up at Chakrin. “The fruit grows rapidly and must be picked when it turns a deep blue color. Otherwise it falls off the tree causing the ground to die immediately. Unable to grow anything in that spot for 100 years.” As he turned back to the roots almost formed completely into a huge tree.
“I hate to be so um…pushy, but I should really be going. I need to protect Wrawrck before he’s killed by those hunters.” Trying to invoke some sympathy from the forest guy. Slowly he turns toward Chakrin, looking at his face and then into my eyes.
“It is something you do not want to do, I see. But, it is something that must be done, however. Follow me, Chakrin. I will show you the way.” Grabbing the already succulent fruit from the tree and taking a bite. Almost immediately his body increased in size. His muscles were more defined larger than before, along with his hair that seemed to just appear on his body. Smiling at Chakrin before inhaling the rest, “These are magnificent! Tell Tapion he has out done himself this time.” Looking at the fruit, wondering what exactly they do, before turning back to the forest guy in a “lets go” kind of look. Studying Chakrin’s eyes, he knows what he wants and knows that it would be almost impossible for Chakrin to handle the immense power that comes with the fruit. “So, did Tapion tell you what those beans were for?” He asked, wiping his mouth with the back of his arm.
“Nah, just told me to use em’ if I had to, he was laughing at me though.” Chakrin replied knowing now why Tapion had been laughing so hard. “He didn’t say it was to save my life!” smiling as he turned toward the forest guy. “Well, what do you say we get going?” asked Chakrin. As he headed off in what he hopped was the right way.
“Yea sure thing kid!” replied the newly energized forest guy as he quickly snagged a few more pieces of fruit throwing them into his satchel and hurrying up behind Chakrin toward the edge of the forest city. Leading the way towards Wrawrck’s cave.
Again At The Waterfall
“Sir! I’ve found a short cut! It’ll take us 1 day to catch up to him and possibly even get ahead of him!” said one of the soldier-like hunters.
“Excellent, if your lucky you just might get a promotion out of this, soldier.” Replied the leader as he threw his cigar into the water and watched it get carried along until it was out of site and over the waterfall. “Wake up num-nuts one and two so we can get the hell out of here,” pointing at the two stragglers leaning up on a rock together, drool pouring out of their mouths like two babies in a crib.
“Yes, sir,” as one of the soldiers walked over to the two that were sleeping and shoved them both into the water. Making them get completely soaked in the ice-cold water. “Wake up you two, its time to go”
“Holy King Kia that waters cold!! They both yelled at the same time, trying as best they could to stand up and hit the soldier that had knocked them over. Laughing loudly at the two soldiers misfortune the others start to make their way down the waterfall, being cautious not to slip on the wet rocks as they go.
“So where exactly do we have to cut through to make up all this time?” asked the leader, following closely behind the three soldiers.
“We follow this river for 30 miles then head due east for 40. After that it’s a race down the side of that mountain,” pointing off to the southeast to what seemed like nothing more than a hill from this vantage point. “We’ll have to use our newly made hover-boards. Hopefully they will pass their first field test.” He said, not sounding too enthused.
“Great,“ said the leader, “I have to trust another one those hairball contraptions created by those two nim-wits! Where the hell are they anyways?!” Starting to turn around to check behind him. “You have got to be kidding me…” he said looking up at the stragglers, “you idiots!”
“CAWABUNGA!” yelled one of the stragglers, followed by a, “WAZZZZZZUP!” as both of the stragglers jumped off the waterfall at full speed pulling their chutes as they did so. “See you in 30 miles!!!” they yelled.
“I think that’s the first good idea they have had this whole damn trip!” said one of the soldiers. Watching the parachutes open as the two stragglers fell towards the water.
“Nope,” said one of the other soldiers, “there to close together. The chutes are gonna get caught on each other and there gonna go swimming!” he said, starting to chuckle, almost losing his balance as he did so.
“Careful now! Don’t want to end up looking like the geniuses over there do you?” said the leader, now carefully watching his step as he neared the bottom of the waterfall.
“Where did they go?” asked one of the soldiers, “I saw em’ land out there, they should have made it to the shore by now.” He said almost starting to feel worried about them.
“Who cares?!” asked the leader, jumping down the last few feet. “At least no we can go on without anymore major screw-ups!” Feeling more relieved than worried.
Forest 3
The sun had gone from high in the sky with the added heat to a few hours before setting. The sky had gone from bright blue to a darker, calmer blue with a slight yellow-gold, and red tint as it slowly made its way to the horizon.
Moving fast now through the trees Chakrin follows his now monkey-like tour guide. Swinging, jumping, running, flipping and even hurdling they’re way towards the cave of Wrawrck. Chakrin was keeping up with him perfectly fine but he could tell that he couldn’t keep this up for much longer. After all they had been going at this pace for almost an hour.
“God this sucks,” thought Chakrin, “are we there yet?” Breathing heavily now thinking about the girl and what might have been. Not on dodging branches or even slowing down. Just that girl. Until…WHAM! He runs right into the back of the forest guy, smashing his face into the smelly fur on his back.
“Usually when someone stops in front of you, it means you should stop as well. He said, looking back at Chakrin who has now pinching his nose, tilting his head back. “We are here Chakrin. You are on your own from here on out. Be careful, ok?” asked the forest guy. Pulling his satchel out to hand something to Chakrin.
“…Thanks, I appreciate this a lot man! Said Chakrin; still holding his head back with his nose pinched.
“Here take this,” holding out one of the pieces of deep blue fruits, “use it only when you are truly in need of strength. Otherwise it will bring great pain and torment to your life.”
Taking the fruit slowly from the forest guy and putting it in his own bag.
“Thanks again, I owe you one.” Chakrin said as he slid the fruit into his bag. “What’s your name anyways?” Holding out his hand smiling.
Looking at Chakrin’s outstretched hand for a few seconds before laughing quietly. “I’m not gonna fall for it, my name is Y-ftin.” Tell Tapion that his help couldn’t have come at a better time. As he made a fist and slammed it hard on top of Chakrin’s left shoulder.
“Oufff! Let me guess, that’s how you say goodbye?” Said Chakrin, rubbing his shoulder.
“Nope, not at all,” replied Y-ftin, “I just wanted to hit you” laughing as he started to turn back towards his home.
“Wait! I almost forgot!” said Chakrin loudly. Turning quickly to cover his mouth trying to stop his voice from leaving. Y-ftin’s eyes were wide and starring sending a very clear message not to talk too loudly. Raising his hands slowly Chakrin let Y-ftin know he understood.
“What’s wrong?” whispered Chakrin, not sure how loud he should be talking.
“I brought you right on top of Wrawrck’s cave,” pointing down.
“You’ve got to be kidding me? Tapion said that thing is crazy!” trying to control his voice.
“It is, if it’s awakened from its slumber, never make any noise around here, it is almost a promise of certain death.” Y-ftin said, being more than serious enough to make his point.
“Gotcha, so anyways I was going to say that there are five hunters following me. They look like they might be bounty hunters or something, but I know for sure that they mean business.” Said Chakrin, looking around hearing nothing but silence all around him, not even the birds were singing.
“Ok,” said Y-ftin, “I will warn the others to take extreme precaution if they encounter anyone.” Slowly turning away to leave. “Good luck, Chakrin. Come back whenever you want some training, I’ll be glad to help you.”
“Thanks,” as Chakrin watched Y-ftin head back silently through the woods toward his home.
The Waterfall…yet again…
As the two hit the water and go under they immediately put on their air venalation masks, giving each other a thumbs up as they start toward the bottom.
“I can’t believe it actually worked,” said the first one checking to see if the other had his receiver on yet. Knowing his voice sounded very different through the underwater mic system.
“I know! Those fools are gonna be really surprised when we get there first!” laughing in his mask. Looking at his partner before they both head straight to the bottom in search of the cave.
“Hey, have you noticed that the current is kinda picking up?” asked one to the other.
“Yeah, I believe that it leads to something worth checking out.” Replied the other. Slightly swimming faster as if trying to start a race.
“Hey you think you’re faster than me or something? I could beat you to the bottom and find the cave before you even get to the bottom.” He stated rather matter-factly.
“O really fool?” Asked the other as he picked up his pace.
“Yea because I got this,” pushing a button on his waterproof pants causing a small rocket like booster to come out of his backpack, “NOS!” Laughing as the rocket took fire and shot him through the water towards the bottom.
“You cheating f@*k!” yelled the other soldier almost stopping completely to watch. “All right you win, you better turn that thing off before you hit bottom.” Admitting his defeat.
“I’m trying to, but it won’t! He yelled back, pushing the button again, over and over in panic.
“Well moron why don’t you try something like changing direction or goin' all over the place until it dies out?”
“O yeah,” sounding quit relieved, “that’s a good idea.” So as the other soldier swam to the bottom watching the other one being shot all over the place at lightning fast speeds leaving trails of oxygen bubbles in his wake.
As he reached the bottom of the lake, still waiting for his partner to finish off the tank of nos, he could feel the current get stronger pulling him toward the now visible cave. He could see that the water wasn’t actually going into the cave but around it and then down behind it before dieing off abruptly. Making the fish swim in a different pattern.
“It’s the fish!” He thought, “They give away the current!” He turned back toward his friend seeing small spurts of bubbles coming from behind him. “HEY! I figured out how he got out of here so damn fast! Proudly stating his new find to his friend. “Hurry up and kill that will ya? We gotta get ready to go!”
“Go where and what did you find?” asked the other as he made his way toward the cave grabbing his friend’s hand pulling him along until his rocket finally burned out. Looking at the cave entrance above there heads.
“So this is it huh? It looks like the water goes in and out of the cave.” He said, sounding kind of amazed.
“I know,” said the other looking at his friend, “the water actually goes around the cave and then down into some sort of hole behind it. I think it draws what water is in the cave out of it making the cave dry. Which is also the prime time to get in the cave and follow the water to where ever it goes.” He said, ending his lecture like speech.
“Wow, sounds good, but um how do you know when to go in the cave?” said the other, sounding like he had pointed out the flaw of having a bicycle on the freeway.
“Easy, wait for the fish to change their swimming pattern and then in we go…or at least that’s my theory.” He said, shooting his friends bicycle idea out of the water so to speak.
“Well I guess then we just wait till its ready to test.” Replied the other looking around for a somewhere to sit.
Meanwhile, back on the surface…the other three soldiers are walking along a small path talking amongst themselves on their journey towards the mountain. Completely oblivious to the fact that they were now two short and didn’t really seem to care. After all, those two “nim-wits” were the lowest in power levels between them…as far as they could tell.
King of the Hill
As the three soldiers reached the top of the mountain they looked around in awe. They made it to the top of the mountain in time to see the setting. The sky was now turning from golden-yellow to a deep purple color. Visibly in the sky behind them the stars started to come out. Shining brightly in the clear sky.
“Ok, here’s the deal.” Said the leader after checking to make sure his hover board was working properly. “Were gonna have a race! If either of you two when I’ll give you both a raise with pay.”
“Holy s#!t!” said one of the hunters, “Are you serious?” He asked in shock.
“100%,” said the leader, “but if I win…you both forfeit your months pay to me.” Sounding very confident in his wager.
Turning toward each other to have a small meeting to decide the both turn toward their leader and say, “Yes.”
“GO!” yelled the leader taking off down the hill before they were ready. “SUCKERS!”
“That piece of s#!t!” said one of the hunters as he jumped on his board and took off down the mountain followed by the other hunter.
“Your goin’ down Quentin!” yelled one of the trailing hunters.
“Eat a dick!” he yelled back laughing as he narrowly dodged an oncoming tree.
“I hate that bastard! I can’t afford to lose a months pay!” said the last hunter. Pulling out a hand held remote with a series of buttons on it. “Lets see if those two morons built this thing right.” Talking to himself as he pressed the button controlling the lift of the board. He was immediately shot into the sky above the trees. Looking down he thought, “Wow, it f~%#ing worked!” Before pressing another button, causing the board to deploy the glider wings. Still in amazement at everything working perfectly, he pushed his luck once more with the rockets. Foot straps came out of the board to hold his feet in place; slowly he lowers his body to the board just before the rockets are deployed. Reaching the top speed almost immediately the rockets shoot him and the board across the sky and down toward the base of the mountain.
Quentin looks up in time to see the other soldier fly across the sky and in front of him. “Ahh hell no!” he said angrily dodging trees and brush as he searched for his own remote. “Your not gonna win that easy Damikian!” He yelled into the sky still dodging and searching. Finding it on accident he presses the wing deployment button causing the one-foot wide board to grow to five feet across slicing through the brush as they opened up.
“O s#!t!” he yelled as he looked down oblivious to the close standing trees quickly approaching.
“Press the vertical button!” came a voice from behind him
He quickly pressed the button in a panic not knowing if it would work or not. It did. He was sent almost straight up as the oncoming trees grow larger and larger. Not knowing if he would make it he closed his eyes and put his hands in front of his face, but at these speeds it would do little in the means of protection. The trees seemed to clear out as he went up into the sky. Though he wasn’t completely out of danger he slightly relaxed his arms to see what was next in his path. One tree, that was all that stood in his path.
The tree seemed to be getting taller a lot faster than he seemed to be going up. That’s when he realized the inevitable; he wasn’t going to make it. Suddenly the board catches on the tree and sends him flying through the air still going slightly up as he cleared the rest of the trees. Seeing his subordinate gliding to the bottom no longer powered by the rockets, before he starts his decent to the splintering treetops at outrageous speeds. Falling quickly with no way to stop his decent he makes his final prayers and closes his eyes waiting for it to all be over. From nowhere the last soldier swoops in and grabs Quentin just feet above the treetops. Pulling him up as he makes room for him on the board the both lay down on it like a hang glider. As they glide down the mountainside. Grinning widely, the new leader of the race lowers his body as he nears the final 100 feet of the decent.
“At least Adthak will be glad I got here first,” he thought, “I’m surprised I made it this far myself,” as he started laughing knowing he was almost at the end of this race. Gliding to the ground he made a fairly ruff landing. Ending up rolling a few dozen feet sending his board high into the air before it smashed into the ground leaving nothing, but metal shards all over the ground in a small explosion.
Getting up, dusting himself off he looks up in time to see Adthak and Quentine heading right for him waving and screaming loudly. Ducking quickly, eating the dirt once again, he gets low enough for the other two to fly past him just over his head as they try and make their landing a little more presentable to no avail. They both end up crashing just as he did. Walking out of the smoke and fire dazed and confused they make their way to Damikian and collapse. As the three of them recover from the near death experience that they all were just apart of, they start laughing at each other. Relieved that they were all alive and in reasonably good condition considering their landings. As they get up to head towards the forest they hear screaming from high above them. It’s the nim-wits.
Water raceways
Racing through the series of tunnels the two hunters are pulled along at almost impossible speeds. The water is pulling at every part of their body tugging on everything attached to their body, even their masks. Both of the hunters can sense the impending danger of having there masks torn off while under water. Taking deep breathes of air getting their lungs ready for what could be a long time without air they take a few final breaths and unhook the mask from their face and pull the oxygen tank release cord. Almost in unison the masks and oxygen tanks take off ahead of the hunters. Holding their breath they both close their eyes and await the end of the trip…or their lives.
Almost as soon as they release the pressure from their lungs they are shot out into the sky. Looking around in amazement they can see that they are far from where they started, but still happy to be out of the water. Until they realize that they are both falling toward the ground now from a very high altitude. Screaming they both fall toward the ground. Until Timone pulls out his hover board and smiles at Pumba. Catching on to what he’s thinking he pulls out his board and the both deploy the wings and glide down the rest of the way.
Heading towards the two explosions that are now just a few clouds of black smoke. As they get closer to the ground they both lay down on their board getting lower and lower they slowly pull up on the front of their boards causing the air to catch it making them slow down a little bit. And with one quick pull they do a full loop ending with both of them looking straight up into the sky before dropping a few feet to land on the ground. Putting away their boards they see that they have caught up with their comrades. After a brief description of what has happened they all head off towards the cave. All of them with a new respect for the two stragglers.
Enter the Forest…again…
They all watch as the sunsets into the hills, as darkness takes over, as the seen now becomes the unseen. Together the hunters enter the forest and head in the direction of the cave. Each of them is more cautious now that they are this close. High above them they are watched by groups of silent eyes. Waiting for the hunters to enter the high forest to meet their deaths. After all, they are trespassers. Walking along the paths cut out by animals and other larger things the hunters make their way to the cave. Stopping only to check the current location of Chakrin and to divvy-up the ammo between each other. Walking along their path noticing the brush getting thicker they start looking for another means of travel. A path or something to make this easier, almost at once they look up and notice the branches layout in much the same way that Chakrin did. Together they all made their way up the trees into the high forest. Immediately they were attacked by a barrage of spears. All of them flying in from every direction.
“Lookout!” Yelled Quentine, as he jumped over a few spears and ducking under a few others.
“We’re under attack! Said Damikian reaching for a stun grenade.
“Hold your positions! Do not retreat!” Yelled Adthak, switching his rifle to automatic as he sprayed the forest with bullets.
Quentine was now in hiding waiting for the fight to be over or at least to make a grand entrance (like any evil bad guy would do). Hearing the cries of the attackers only made him a little worried of what was happening. Slowly rising to his feet a spear lands next to his face, followed by another one on the other side. Reaching down and pulling out a laser gun from his front hip, he slowly turns around to face his attacker. Still keeping his weapon hidden from view he sees two of them. Each empty handed, before they close their eyes and open them again with new spears appearing in their hands.
“What the hell are you?” asked Quentine slowly. Waiting for his chance to kill them.
“We are Zwuildon and you…”
“IT DOESN”T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!” yelled Quentine firing his laser as he yelled hitting both of them in the middle of the chest. Laughing as they stood their looking at the hole.
“You have signed your death mortal.” Replied one of the Zwuildon as he was suddenly blown to a million pieces from the internal laser. As the other looked to his side to see his friend long gone and plastered all over the surrounding forest he reaches back to throw his spear in anger, but as he does so he also explodes in a few thousand pieces sending the spear off to nowhere it lands and shatters and then dissolves into the tree.
“Take that you filthy animals.” Said Quentine as he turned toward the gunfire to see what he could help his men with.
In the long a bloody battle the Zwuildon fought with brave and relenting attacks, but were always killed from the gunfire and exploding grenades. They weren’t going to be able to finish off these trespassers without a high sacrifice of their own. Even with this knowledge in all of them they continued to attack with spears. Landing shots closer and closer to the hunters but never hitting them. Soon the hunters had pulled out their heavy artillery and were killing off the Zwuildon with huge blast that sent splintered trees into other trees causing the forest to slowly collapse on itself…killing the innocent young Zwuildon kids as the trees smashed into each other. In the darkness Y-ftin watched as his family and these hunters unable to do anything besides watch were slaughtering friends.
“Cover me I’m gonna get us out of here” said Timone, quickly jumping out of the way and into hiding. Checking his wrist he saw that it was 3 a.m. He pushed a few buttons on his wrist to find Chakrin and Wrawrck’s location, but somehow Wrawrck wasn’t showing up on the scanner, neither was Chakrin for that matter. Well, he didn’t have time to wonder why. Timone pulled out his external scanner to check once again hoping for better results and this time he got them. The cave was merely an hour walk from here, but there was no way he was going to walk through that battlefield. Pulling out a few high explosives and placing them against the tree, he set the first charge for 30 seconds and made his way around the city leaving the explosives in a variety of places until he was back to where he started. Looking down in his hand at the detonator Timone pressed the start button and the charges began their count down. Packing everything up and making sure it was secured he bolted toward Chakrin’s location.
“Follow me! He yelled to the other hunters, “he’s this way!” Quickly the others joined him in his sprint for life.
As the hunters started their retreat they heard the cheers of the Zwuildon race, proud and perfected over time. They heard the last war cries of what will now be a forgotten race of people…
Y-ftin had been watching this from an even higher location, when he saw the hunters heading towards Chakrin he went into action, following closely yet silently above them. Hearing their thoughts as he gracefully followed the clumsy hunters. Knowing that he would never again see any of his kind, he continued on cheering with his people in his head…cheering until he was the only one cheering.
A massive wave of heat passed all the hunters and Y-ftin before they all heard the explosion, sending everything for thousands of feet into the air in a fiery blast. That was the end of the Zwuildon race. It was nothing now but a raging fire in the forest, a raging fire in the heart of Y-ftin who would soon get his revenge.
As the hunters closed in on the cave still not knowing where Chakrin had gone they readied their weapons and checked to make sure they were loaded. And then proceeded to close in on the cave. Y-ftin had been watching them trying to communicate through telepathy with Chakrin but couldn’t get through to him; he was in deep meditation waiting for the hunters to arrive.
With a quick hand signal from Quentine the others flipped on their slick eyewear and internal receivers. “Everyone here?” Asked Quentine not taking his eyes off the opening of the cave. Still moving toward it in unison with the other hunters.
“This is 2” replied Adthak.
“3 here.” Said Damikian.
“4 is here.” Said Timone as he looked across the clearing at Pumba who quickly replied
“5 is good.”
“All right, gentleman this is it. We get this damned critter back to the base and a vacation for a month. Lets do this right and split,” said Quentine really wanting to end this miserable trip.
“SCHHHHHHCSCSSHHHHHHHHCSSDSDHHHHHH” was all that any of them could hear, stopping abruptly looking at each other in confusion.
“I’m glad you all made it…” the voice was new to all of them. Looking around with there guns trying to pinpoint the voice. “You won’t find me or my people anymore. We are dead as you will soon be.” Came the voice growing louder with each word. “Did you know that it’s quite around here for a reason? If I were you I would be a little more cautious of your surroundings.” This was the last bit of advice the hunters would receive.
From inside the cave came a loud gruff growl. An almost instant terror took over in the hunter’s eyes. This was like nothing they had heard before and it was only going to get worse from here on out.
Slowly the beast headed for the cave entrance making a crunching sound of the dead leaves and bones of past kills. This was the noise that Chakrin had been waiting for. Immediately he awoke from his meditation squinting his eyes in the moonlight. Seeing a distant fire blaze in the woods, almost as if it were alive it slowly makes its way toward the cave, toward the hunters. As Chakrin floats into the air charging up for an attack he stops when he sees a spear race through the air and land in the middle of the clearing. Quickly the hunters drop to their knees and do a quick look around them to try and find the culprit. Seeing nothing through their scopes only increases the obvious…someone is playing some mind games. A very high-pitched whistle was heard but it seemed to be from all around the forest.
Slowly the wild beast peaks out of his cave. Snarling at these new things in his clearing. With only his snout sticking out of the cave it easy to tell that he is more than just huge, he’s gigantic. His snout is one foot wide bearing razor sharp teeth and a snake like tongue that never quit flicking in and out of his mouth; it was always tasting the air, sensing the 5 hunters. His skin is scaly like a snake’s. The front of his nose is marked by a past wound. Three scratches from a dead enemy were his only signs of battle; at least those are the only scars visible so far.
Seeing this much of the beast was more than enough for Quentine to want to kill it as soon as possible, carefully he raises his gun, taking aim on the beast. His laser sight directly on the nose of Wrawrck. Slowly he moves his finger down to the trigger, carefully moving it around the trigger to get a full grip on it. Slowly he starts to tighten his finger, gently squeezing the trigger and just before he applies enough pressure to fire, a ki blast hits his rifle, completely melting the end of the barrel, sending the beast back into his cave for a brief second. Immediately a spear is thrown toward the hunters. Impaling the gun of Timone, deeming it useless for further action.
“What the hell?” said Timone rather stunned at seeing a spear go through his gun. “That’s impossible!” still looking at the gun completely oblivious to the monkey-like figure standing right behind him.
“Not if you throw it hard enough.” Replied Y-ftin, waiting for Timone to turn around in wonder before planting his foot in his face sending Timone flying through the air towards the cave entrance, just close enough to receive a swipe of Wrawrck’s retractable razor sharp nails. Ripping the backside of Timone's fatigues to shreds before he can react to safe his ass from further abuse.
“You are responsible for killing the rest of the Zwuildon race and now it is your turn to face your own demise.” Said Y-ftin quietly before powering up in a dark blue aurora before charging at Timone. Seeing his friend in trouble Pumba springs into action setting his rifle to freeze and firing a swiping shot toward Y-ftin. Hitting everything opposite of his location, causing it to stop moving as if it were frozen in time. He even managed to nail Timone between the eyes freezing his face in a horrible pose of certain death watching his attacker unable to do anything. Y-ftin was quickly approaching his target when he was first hit by the freeze bullets. At first it only made his body cold, not restricting him to motionless ness immediately. Then three more bullets going up his side hit him. This time the effects were almost immediate. Frozen in space, as if defying gravity, Y-ftin was suspended in mid-air in the middle of his attack on Timone.
“Take that you piece of monkey s#!t!” yelled Pumba, at the now statue like Y-ftin. “A little target practice for me.” Raising his rifle to steady his shot, switching his bullets to a more simple yet messy setting.
“Pumba we don’t have time for that crap right now we need to kill this damned monster and jet!” yelled Damikian as he pointed his rifle back toward the cave in search of the huge beast that disappeared from view in the brief scuffle.
“It’s still in the cave…I think…” said Quentine. “I’m not for sure on that one though.” Not sounding at all like he was sure of anything at that moment. “Where’s Adthak!” said Quentine looking around for his newly lost team member.
“What?” said Damikian looking to where Adthak had been just seconds prior to that very moment.
Slowly falling from the sky a piece of clothe made its way down to the hunters. It was black in color, much the same as the hunter’s uniforms. It looked like it was made of the same material that their uniforms were made of. Looking around quickly trying to find Adthak in the dense forest, they hear a shrill cry of pain and agony followed by complete silence. He was dead, killed by the mad beast that they were supposed to subdue.
“SHOT TO KILL! F$@K THAT DAMNED ANIMAL, I WANT IT DEAD NOW!” yelled Quentine, knowing he just loss his best member and was down another from the freeze bullets fired by Timone.
Moving silently through the trees Chakrin advanced closer to the action wondering what would happen to Y-ftin. Suddenly he was snapped back to reality as an insane amount of noise erupted out of the last three rifles. The noise was so enormous that his ears actually hurt afterwards.
“What the hell was that?” he thought, trying to figure out what was being killed. Looking closely at Y-ftin to see if he was still in one piece.
In the clearing Pumba and Damikian had somehow combined their weapons to form a very powerful cannon. They were shooting it into the forest in the direction of the cries from Adthak. After they fired the second time and were in the process of loading another shot Wrawrck charged out of the forest without any warning to the hunters. With teeth bared and claws extended Wrawrck leapt through the air to pounce the helpless hunters. They were grinning from ear to ear; all of them were completely safe at their distance. As Wrawrck neared closer, extended arms, claws ready to kill; the beast was stopped dead in its tracks. Quentine shot a stun-net from the side. The net froze the beast before sending an immense amount of electricity through it. Roaring in great pain there was nothing the beast could do. The net had completely subdued Wrawrck. Now Quentine was sending random charges to the net laughing a loud as the beast cried in agony.
Leaping from behind the brush, Chakrin charged in from behind with a ki blast charging in each hand. Noticed only by Y-ftin’s frozen glare, Chakrin neared closer to the hunters until he was spotted by Damikian, but it was too late.
Quickly throwing a ki blast at him Damikian barely dodges it, but Pumba doesn’t. Hitting him hard in the shoulder, the blast knocks him back 20 feet rendering him unconscious. With the other ki blast Chakrin turns toward Quentine and lets him have it. Seeing Chakrin interrupting his fun he easily evades it, and even turns to watch it explode in the trees. Quentine did however, drop the big stun gun. Quickly Chakrin picked it up and charged another ki blast. Smiling as he cut the cord with a quick slice of his hand before throwing the stun gun in the air and shooting it to oblivion.
Quentine was now getting angry at the cockiness of Chakrin. Slowly he started taking off his protective gear unaware that Wrawrck would be awaking at any moment.
“Damikian, deal with him while I take care of this beast!” he yelled
“With pleasure, sir.” Said Damikian as he got up wiping blood from his forehead.
“Keep in mind that I’m new at this fighting thing guys…go easy on me ok?” said Chakrin in an asinine voice. Smiling as he checked on Y-ftin, “So how does that freeze thing work? I mean after all you did shoot one of your own guys with it.”
“Shut-up!” yelled Damikian, getting angry at the smart remarks of the kid.
“I was just wondering you don’t got a get all pissy with me!” he said back to Damikian still being an ass.
“You som-n-a-bitch! I’ll hop-up-pear and kick the sh!# out of you!” Said Damikian with a slight redneck accent.
Laughing so much his sides started to hurt Chakrin looks up at Damikian laughing at him and pointing. Wrawrck was right behind him having recovered from his electro-shock therapy. Now he was pissed! His eyes were glazed over showing now pupils. His muscle mass seemed to increase ten times over and finally, his claws and teeth increased in size by five inches. Wrawrck was definitely not a happy camper at this point.
Still laughing hard Chakrin manages to spit out some words between hysterical laughs.
“Hey look behind…big bastard…hilarious!” were the only words Damikian could decipher. Looking toward Quentine seeing shock on his face, Damikian slowly turns around to stare right at Wrawrck’s huge gaping mouth full of razor sharp teeth and drool dripping to the ground.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” was heard through the forest for miles and it wasn’t a manly yell either. Taking a few steps back Damikian trips on himself and lands flat on his ass. Putting his hands in front of his face screaming like a woman being chased by a mouse. With one quick snap of his jaw half of Damikian had disappeared! Throwing his upper body into the air Wrawrck started to play with his food. Still hearing the screams from Damikian, Chakrin slowly backs away and turns his attention toward Quentine.
“Tell me how to thaw out my friend and you will live another day, fight me and you too will be a snack for him.” Said Chakrin, still in shock of how quickly Wrawrck’s movements were.
“You and I both know that I could crush you with no effort.” Opening his fists and starting to charge a ki blast in each hand Chakrin was only angered by these words. “You are a mere boy out of place with these Konatians. Everyone and anyone can see that your not supposed to be here.” Quentine was slowly powering up his own surprise for Chakrin as he spoke. “You do not belong here or anywhere, anyone can see this everyone knows this, you are nothing important to no one, and even less important to me.” Rising off the ground Quentine slightly elevated himself about a foot of the ground and turned his back to Chakrin.
“Face me you bastard!” yelled Chakrin letting his ki blasts reduce power back to nothing before powering up his whole body for an attack. “There is something else you forgot to mention Mr…”
“Quentine, my name is Quentine, but you will be too busy begging for mercy in a few minutes.” He said as his small, but highly effective energy blasts floated between his hands.
“Mr. Quentine, you forgot the part I mentioned about you dieing.” Said Chakrin before powering up to his fully known power and charging at Quentine in anger. “You fool!” said Quentine as he quickly turned and launched his explosive at Chakrin nailing him right in the chest.
The explosion lit up the forest. It even stunned Wrawrck who had just tossed the remainder of Damikian into the air, watching as Chakrin was sent through the trees before the remainder of the chewed and bloody carcass lands on Wrawrck’s head. The fire now only a few hundred yards away was still closing in on the clearing.
His chest was ripped open in several places from the blast, blood running out of his open wounds. Looking up Chakrin could see the cave about 20 yards away knowing that on top of that cave was the fruit that would save his life.
Slowly getting up, Chakrin searches for the strength to pick him off the ground. Holding his chest in pain he makes it to his knees and stares through the trees at Quentine. Leaning against a nearby tree Chakrin slowly gets to his feet. Watching as Quentine makes his way towards the tree line.
“You pathetic fool. Did you actually think that I would just turn my back to you with out being ready for your more than obvious attack? I mean come on; it doesn’t take a DNA Specialist to figure that out…” said Quentine in a very crude and cynical voice. As he passed the two ice sculptures they seemed to melt and after he had passed them completely they were thawed out and continued on there way unaware of the changes that had occurred just minutes before.
“Everyone knows that my father did that! You can’t trick me Quentine!” yelled Chakrin immediately afterwards he was grabbing his chest from the pain.
“This is true,” smiling as he imagined the look on Chakrin’s face after hearing this next bit of news, “I also knew your father, which makes your death even that much more full-filling, if you will?”
“How do you know my father?!” asked Chakrin wincing in pain as he started his long stumbling trip toward the top of the cave.
“Oh come now, don’t run. Your father put up much less of a struggle you know.” Looking at the path of broken limbs and branches where Chakrin was sent from the explosion, not seeing him there now.
Being as quite as he possibly could Chakrin made his way up the side of the cave toward the fruit. Hearing the silenced screams of Y-ftin as he pounded away at Timone’s face and body. Never ceasing in his rage to avenge his lost people.
“You hear that Quentine?” Said Chakrin as loud as he could, knowing it would give his location away. “Yes, Chakrin,” turning toward the voice in the forest, “or should I call you Test Tube 99?” laughing at the thought of the name.
“What are you talking about Quentine?” climbing on top of the cave searching for his bag, getting angry at the thought of this guy knowing so much.
“You were the first successful birth of cloned species. All the rest had something wrong with them, but you…you were a mere perfect symbol of perfection. Until that so called wife of his had to mess everything up. She wanted to stop our experiments, put an end to the search for perfection.”
“SHUT-UP QUENTINE! Your lying to me, you’re just telling lies! Yelled Chakrin angrily as he picked up his bag with the fruit in it, still ripe and fragrant in its aroma.
“Am I dear boy? Tell me this, in the pod that your mother was sent in with you still in her womb, did you ever notice that it was marked with your name or that it even carried some of your past inside of it?” Said Quentine approaching the entrance of the cave, ignoring Wrawrck’s sudden interest in him being in front of his cave.
“That pod was destroyed on impact…nothing was left of it…NOTHING! Do you hear me Quentine?! Nothing was left of that pod!” Holding the fruit in his hands ready to take a bite, breathing heavily now with the thoughts of his past once again flooding his mind.
“Tapion knows all about the pod, boy. Ask him if you ever make it back home.” Said Quentine as he began his accent to see Chakrin on top of the cave. Taking a bite of the fruit, Chakrin quickly noticed the change in his body. His wounds were immediately healed and he even gained more muscle mass. Standing there on top of the cave taking in all of what Quentine had to say, letting his mind regain control and channel his pain into raw power.
Meanwhile back at the clearing in front of the cave Timone was being pummeled by Y-ftin’s relentless barrage of punches and kicks. Wrawrck had also become bored of his now more than dead toy. Seeing that Y-ftin was giving Timone more than he could handle he decided to attack both of them. With a single swipe of his paw Wrawrck had nearly ripped the spinal cord out of Y-ftin. Howling in pain he turned in time to see the back of Wrawrck’s paw hit him in the face sending him across the clearing, landing hard on the ground next to Pumba who was just now coming to.
“What the f*$k is goin on,” he said rubbing his head, “where am I?” Looking down toward Y-ftin still unaware of his surroundings Pumba exclaimed, “He sure is a hairy bastard!”
“SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!” yelled Timone, as he tried to crab walk away from Wrawrck to no avail. “Pumba wake up!!! Help me damn you!” he said now crawling toward Pumba.
“Go away! I don’t have anything to use for a weapon ya crazy Dutch bastard!” said Pumba yelling back at Timone. As he started to crawl away from Timone in the opposite direction toward the mouth of the cave.
“Wait for me you piece of s#!t!” said Timone as he caught up with Pumba thus starting another race between the two, with Wrawrck in third closing in fast. Floating up Quentine thinks about the days when he worked along side the scientist that created Chakrin, before his wife interfered with the research.
“I’m coming, boy! Are you ready for your death?” He said loudly.
Nearing the top of the cave and finally coming level with the boys eyes Quentine made his last speech. “I killed them all Chakrin! All of them but you! And now your time has come. Prepare to die, Chakrin.” Said Quentine smiling widely as he stretched his arms out from his sides.
“You can not kill me…” said Chakrin slowly, feeling the mass amounts of energy flowing through his body, “…I…am…stronger than you could ever imagine…” feeling his hair float a little as he spoke, “…I will…destroy…your very…existence…” slightly raising off the ground his body mass grew three times larger than before, his hair became much darker and his eyes turned completely black.
Looking into Quentine’s eyes Chakrin chuckled softly before screaming loudly making his power level increase immensely before a huge and even more sudden eruption of power was ejected from his body in a fiery blast that more than injured Quentine. The night sky was suddenly lit up in dark green and blue colors of the purest form.
Quentine was shot from the cave to the edge of the clearing in mere seconds. Slowly rising to his feet shaking his head he looked toward the cave to see Wrawrck chasing Timone and Pumba into it. Looking to his right he could see Y-ftin awakening from his coma, watching the top of the cave, and watching the light show being put on by Chakrin.
Turning back toward Chakrin, Quentine powered himself up and shot an insane amount of blast towards Chakrin’s location. Ending it with a huge Kamehameha. Blowing the cave to rubble leaving Chakrin’s body floating in the air still surrounded by the dark but extravagant light.
Y-ftin knew that the fruit was much more than Chakrin could handle, but somehow he was managing to keep it under control. Slowly Y-ftin lowered himself back to the ground trying not to move too much, knowing the outcome would be disastrous.
Quentine once again took flight toward Chakrin in a fast rush of speed and powered blast waiting for impact. Releasing them just before he got to Chakrin letting them explode at point blank range. Knowing he himself was going to be injured in the attack. From Y-ftin’s point of view it looked like Chakrin had been blown away, completely surrounded by the blast. But from behind Chakrin it was easy to see that the blast did nothing more than ruffle his hair. It went around Chakrin never coming closer than a foot from him. Somehow he was able to block the blast, and quit well at that.
Quentine waited for the smoke to clear before he made his next move, which in his mind was picking Chakrin off the rocks and trees behind him. To his utter amazement Chakrin remained and wasn’t even damaged in the blast.
“What the hell are you?!” He said angrily, “I have been watching you for months and your power levels were never this high! Where did it come from?” He asked, slowly backing away trying not to agitate Chakrin any further.
Looking at the ground breathing heavily Chakrin said, “You shall die for your trespassing, you shall die for your crimes, and you shall die…” looking from the ground up to Quentine’s eyes, “for the murder of my family.”
Immediately Chakrin’s hands came together outstretched in front of his body, hands together as they slowly came back toward his body with a bright blue glow around them. As his hands moved toward his body, Chakrin’s fingers spread apart, but were still touching the adjoining fingers on the other hand. With his wrists now touching his chest Chakrin’s body started to glow a bright blue, starting from his hands through his body from where his wrist touched his chest until the light surrounded him.
“What are you doing boy?! Stop it you don’t know what that will do!” Yelled Quentine almost begging for mercy.
Suddenly the light extended from Chakrin to Quentine engulfing him as his screams of pain were silenced. The blue light radiated Quentine making his whole being the same bright color before the explosion. In a single white light Quentine was internally combusted. Splattering his smoldering body parts all over the nearby rocks and trees of the forest. Leaving nothing but his uniform and equipment falling to the ground, landing in a scattered pile on the ground. Heat from the flames told Y-ftin that it was time to be moving to safety.
Chakrin was falling too, unable to control the power any longer he fell into unconsciousness as he hit the ground. Y-ftin quickly rushed over to him, hoping he was still breathing. A very faint heartbeat could be felt through the bloody and sweaty clothes of Chakrin. Piling the uniform on Chakrin and picking him up, Y-ftin whistled loudly in an almost inaudible tone.
Walking away slowly heading deeper in to the woods away from the fire closing in on the cave toward a more secluded part of the forest Y-ftin was followed closely by Wrawrck, who soon offered his help to carry Chakrin on his back.
“Thank you Wrawrck…he will not know anything that happened when he awakes. I will bring him back to Tapion myself.”
In what seemed like an agreeing nod Wrawrck stopped long enough for Y-ftin to put Chakrin over his shoulder and take the extra clothes before he quickly ran through the deep forest looking for his new home…
