Nestled deep within a glade not far from Ardee, a new set of lungs screamed a birth cry. And so Moonfire was born. Her mother, Kyrisa, a wandering healer, gave birth to her alone in the late of afternoon of the setting sun. As evening came, her mother noticed the harvest moon in its deep red state, and thus Moonfire was given her name.
From what is known, her father Kalbinos, was a powerful firbolg warrior from a tribe that wandered the highlands of Moher. Earlier in the season a savage kobold raiding party claimed his life in the name of Loke. Though Kyrisa understood nature and its course, she still mourned her love, and set out alone into the glades to live.
As time passed, Moonfire grew. She would spend her days running along the streams with the deer and stags, and would speak to the ancient trees. She possessed a strength and quickness, unusual for even firbolg women. Her mother told her stories of nature and life and of her father. But as time passed, Kyrisa knew that Moonfire would need better training for her talents. So her mother sent her to Tir Na Nog to train with Fernoc the guardian trainer there.
Fernoc guided her in the ways of battle but had Midgard and Albion raiding parties to attend with. So he urged her to seek out her own skills in nature. She came across strange trees and evil hounds that wished to take her life, but she survived. She learned the ways of the spear, just as her father had. And grew more powerful.
Early one morning, Moonfire was checking her rabbit traps she set up the evening before when she heard the screams of someone being attacked by something. She grabbed her spear and headed into the misty morn after the screams. There she came across a Celtic by the name of Oblivia. After assisting her to dispatch the monsters that attacked her camp, they introduced each other. As time had passed Oblivia and Moonfire spent their days hunting together and became fast friends.
One evening around the campfire, while eating bird-eating frog legs Moonfire told Oblivia of the stories of her father she heard from her mother. Stories of high adventure and of the bravery and loyalty her father possessed. And she spoke of the evil kobolds that killed him. Oblivia told Moonfire that she should form her own clan and set out to avenge her father's death. And so the Brotherhood of Light was formed.
Traveling along everyday, Moonfire met more people looking to rid the land of the evil that was Midgard and Albion. Her hatred great daily as those she cared about had similar stories to her own. Eventually Moonfire was nicknamed Bloodlust. For in every battle against Midgard or Albion her strength seemed to multiply. At times she would even transform into an ancient stag of the gods.
To this day Moonfire can be seen in the deep dungeon of the Corticated Mines killing kobolds or on the frontiers killing Midgards and Albions.
