
Supersoft
Dagger and Steiner will reach a rest stop and get off to wait for the next car to arrive. Enter the rest stop area on the right and talk to everyone. (Be sure to save at the moogle) dagger will hear a familiar voice, so head out to investigate it. Once you've talk to Cinna, Marcus and Steiner, follow them all to the car that has just arrived. You wont go far before the train car will stop, and you will have to get off and fight Black Waltz #3 again. This is an easy fight, since the Black Waltz attacks do little damage and dagger's healing spell will heal everyone. After the fight get back on the train car and proceed to the next gate. At the split in the path, take the road on the right and you'll end up on the over world.
Treno
Head southeast until you reach the city of Treno. Once inside, the party will split up and you will be in control of Steiner. Explore the town and search everywhere you possibly can. In the weapon shop it is possible to fight the monster and to get a nice reward, but you have little success of winning at this point in the game unless Steiner is at a high level and equipped with good abilities. You can still try though, one way would be to throw a Tent on the monster and try to get Poison/Darkness/Silence snake on the first try. There is also another Synth shop on the West side of town. (You can build up your money at this shop if you have steepled hats in your inventory). The Cotton Robes take 1 Wrist, 1 Steepled hat and 1,000 Gil to make, but sells for 2,000 Gil. If you don't have any Wrists, you can head back out of Treno, go back to the South gate, take the left road to reach over world, then head to Dali to buy Wrists in the shop there. Unfortunately, you can buy steepled hats anywhere at this point so your limited to those you bought in Lindblum for now. After you're through exploring the rest of Treno head to the Auction house to meet up with Garnet.
At this point you can spend a long time fighting outside of Treno to build up money to buy the expensive items from the Treno auction, and you can also learn new Abilities-it's optional but it will really help out in the long run. Either way once you are ready, head to the Inn/Bar to meet up with Marcus and look for the Supersoft. Eventually you will end up at the Synth shop and meet up with one of Daggers old friends. Follow him to his home in the tower in the west area of Treno. After you receive the Supersoft and talk with Doctor Tot, take the hatch underground into Gargan Roo.
Gargan Roo
Head to the bottom left of the screen until you find a room with a switch. Flip the switch then head back up and take the right path. Tot will instruct you on how to use the Gargant to get to Alexandria. Follow his directions and you'll end up riding the gargant until you encounter a surprising boss battle. This snake isn't that hard to beat, especially if you built up your chars outside of Treno. Just chop away with Steiner and Marcus and heal with dagger. If you get poisoned, just use Antidote or Dagger's Pancea spell. After the battle you will continue to Alexandria and meet unfortunate circumstances before the action returns to Zidanes party.
Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire
After the battle with Beatrix you will head to the town of Cleyra, the town protected by a magical sandstorm-, which makes it very easy to find. After you enter the sandstorm you wont be in the town yet. You must climb up the giant tree trunk; proceed through the paths until you pass a large green hole on the left with a chain leading into it. Ignore it for now but continue and you will come to a switch that redirects the sand into the previous area. Head back to the green hole and head into it, then go to the left and continue. In the room with the quick sand you can direct the way you jump out of the hole by holding a direction button and tap the circle button. After the room with the quick sand you will soon arrive in the town of Cleyra itself
Cleyra Trunk
After you gain control of Zidane, head to the room on the right from the entrance of the town to save your game. Explore the town until you hear news of the Antilon misbehaving, then head back to the room with the sand with the whirlpool near the entrance of the town. Here you will see the Antilion with Puck in its claws. After Puck is set free you'll have to fight the Antilion. (This will be a very thought fight if you haven't been keeping your characters levels up) Have Freya always use jump so she can avoid some of the Antilions physicals attacks and be sure to use Potions and Phoenix downs, as you need to. After defeating the Antilion several events that will end up with your party heading back down the Cleyra trunk. Keep backtracking until the party realizes they've been set up and returns to the town.
Cleyra
Upon arrival in the town you will need to direct the surviving townspeople to safety. Direct them to the upper right part of the town and then to the Cathedral (the more people you save here the more items you will receive from them later). After Freya's sad realizations about her lost love, you have to fight Beatrix again. Deal with her the same way you did before and you will meet the same result. After the battle follow the black mages and you will end up on the Red Rose airship. There isn't much to do on the ship but to follow directions. You'll end up on your way back to Alexandria.
Alexandria
The scene will switch to Steiner and Marcus trapped din a cage. Once you start swinging the cage the secret is to push in the direction you are moving as soon as you have passed the middle of the screen. After several swings, you'll break out. Equip Steiner with any weapons you both while in the other party, then start moving to the left of the screen, be sure to be quick so that you are not caught by Alexandrian guards. Once you climb the ladder, you will meet up with the other from the Red Rose and your party will now be Steiner, Vivi, Zidane and Freya. You will now have 30 minutes to find dagger. If you are using auto potion on any of your characters you will want to unequipped that since the time counts while you are in battles also. The Alexandrian soldiers wont do much damage so auto potion will just be a waste of time. Proceed into the castle through the main gate. If you go into the library and have over 20 minutes left you will want to re equip auto potion and examine the book on top of the high shelf. But be sure to ignore it unless you have 20 minutes left and your chars are over level 20. You can't really damage this enemy while it is close up. Vivi should use Focus every turn, and the other party members attack until you uncover the actual enemy itself, then use your strongest attacks such as Vivi's Fira. If you don't kill the Boss on the first try it will close back up again and you will have to fight it again. If you win you will receive the Running shoes (gives you the ability auto haste). After the fight head back up to the balcony where Zidane first met Garnet and go through the door that she ran out to enter the Queen's chambers. Examine the purple candle on the far wall to open a passageway.
Proceed through the halls and you will eventually find the room where Dagger is being held by Zorn and Thron. These two shouldn't be too tough, since you only need to defeat one of them to win the battle. After this fight the timer will finally stop, so go and rescue Dagger, then return to the Queen's chambers to meet up with your good friends Beatrix again. This same will be the same as the other, just deal with her the same and you will get the same result. After she defeats you watch the events unfold. You will briefly take control of your party consisting of Freya and Beatrix (the monster is easy to defeat with normal attacks). After this brief interruption, you'll take control of Zidane's group again. Head back down to the area where dagger was captive before but this time head out the bottom door to end up to the area where Steiner, Dager and Marcus were originally captured. You'll be captured too but some old friends come to the rescue. Once you have been freed, head out and ride the Gargant until you reach another Boss battle. This boss is pretty easy except for that fact that he will us a technique that causes mini status on you. If the boos coils up don't attack instead just make sure everyone is healed. Vivi should use Focus. Continue with this pattern until you are victorious. After the battle you will ride the Gargant again but your trip to Treno is cut short and you end up pretty far of course.
Pinnacle Rocks
Here you will need to talk to Ramuh, who will send you on an errand to find various parts of his story, if you explore the area thourghly you shouldn't have a problem. When you have found all the pieces find Ramah and assemble the first four parts of his story (you can choose either Human or hero for the ending). After you leave Pinnacle rocks you will see a FMV and end up in the now ruined Lindblum.
Lindblum
Talk to Cid, then buy some equipment and save your game. Tell the man waiting at the fountain that you're ready to go. Cid will help you take the Dragons Gate out of the castle and you'll be back on the over world again.
Fossil Roo Again
Head back to Qu's marsh and find Quina at the frog pond. She will lead you to the hidden entrance of Fossil Roo. If you hit the swinging blade along the path inside, they wont do any damage to you but they will slow you down. If you hit the monster that is chasing you, just fight it as normal; it's not that hard. Keep going until you have to fight Lani. If you have auto potion turned on for all your party members (which you should), this wont be a tough fight at all. Also if you really want it to be an easy fight just cast Blind on here so her physical attacks will miss. After the fight continue through the passages until you reach a room where the excavation is taking place. Save at the moogle, and then flip each of the switches as directed by the thief. To ride the Gargant, just pick a flower, then look for the spot where the filed icon papers just press circle. Once you reach the room with the vines on the back wall, climb the vines to the right, then up to the left to avoid the water jets. Make sure you are ready to leave, then flip the next switch at the upper left of the room. Next, climb back down and return the previous room. Take the Gargant outside to finally reach the Outer Continent.
Outer Continent
After the battle she`ll run away. You can get a elixir if you run all the way back to the monsters` cage. Continue when you`re ready. Here you`ll arrive at a screen where Zidane sences there`s a Gargant around. Pick one of the yellow plants to the left and push X at the place where a “!” appears above Zidane`s head. The Gargant will now get you to an area with two moogle`s (one`s Skiltzkin) and a goblin like creature. Talk to the goblin (I recommend you when you`re here the first time. Go up and do the Gargant-call (I call it Gargant call now= pick up yellow plants and call Gargant) Now keep following the path and switch the lever. Keep doing this (you`ll get to another screen every time) until you swith #4. Now go all the way back to the screen with the two moogles and go right. Here you can call the Gargant which brings you to the exit. Get the stuff you didn`t have here in Fossil Roo and continue to the Outer continent.
The Outer Continent
Head northwest around the cliff and go to what appears to be a bridge between cliffs. Keep going northwest and you will reach the Outer Continent's Qu's Marsh, where you can catch more frogs for Quina. From there head up to the cliffs and head to the "bridge", which you will find is actually a village filled with dwarves.
Conde Petie
Explore the town and buy items and equip as usual. You will meet up with various members of your party and eventually see a black mage buying items at the shop. When you try and talk to him, he will run off. To follow him, head out the village and back onto the over world. Go North then East around the cliff into the long forest. You will eventually reach a small wooded area.
Black Mage Village
Enter the woods and proceed until you reach a split in the path. Read the sing and go to the direction that says, "Where there are no owls," and you will end up on the other side. Read the sign again and follow the directions again. Continue until you end up behind the black mage you saw earlier Follow him and you will end up in the Black Mage Village. Explore the village as usual and you will see a series of ATE's. You can buy some nice equipment here. In the item shop you can finally buy Hi Potions, I would suggest stocking up on these. I would advise gaining levels and money until you have enough to buy 99 Hi Potions, they are expensive but with auto potion it makes you almost invincible. After you are finished there return back to Conde Petie.
Sanctuary
Return to the village, then head to the left area of the town. You will find an old dwarf that can perform the ceremony to let you into the Sanctuary. After the events that follow, you will end up on the trail of a thief named Eiko. Follow her outside and she will decide to join your party.
In this area there are several colored stones that are inside the statues scattered around. After finding each one head to the large statue on the path, down right from the save moogle and place them in the statue there you will receive a moonstone. Continue onward after another FMV sequence, you will fight a boss battle. This guy can be pretty tough if you are not using auto potion with high potions. Dagger should summon Ramuh while Eiko should act as the healer, Vivi should use any of his strongest spells and Zidane should attack and steal as usual. After that take the path on the right at the split to go to the over world and find Maiden Sari. When Eiko is preparing food make sure to get enough water for at least 11 people. After you explore that area and view the events that follow, head back out to the mountain path and take the left path to reach the over world.
Lifa Tree
Head southeast until you reach the Lifa Tree. After Eiko breaks the seal, proceed inside and follow the path until you reach a platform. Ride the platform down and continue on the path. While riding the green elevator, you'll fight several easy battles. Once you reach the bottom, talk to everyone and watch the water with Eiko. Explore the area to the left. This Boss can be really hard or really easy depending on how you fight him. If you want it to be easy just throw a Phoenix down and use cure spells on him and he will go down fast. After the post battle FMV scene, the party will be outside the Lifa Tree. Now head back onto the over world.
Madian Seri
Return to Madian Seri and head to Eiko's house and go down the stairs. After you have talked with Eiko and the scene finishes, proceed to the Eidolon wall. Talk to Morrison to get healed, then go and save EIko. When fighting "Scarlet Hair" use attacks and high potions as needed. It is likely you will Trance in this battle, especially if you are using the High Tide ability, so it shouldn't be too hard. When the fight is over return to Eiko's house and her and Vivi in the room beneath the stairs. After discussion there walk outside of Eiko's house and wait for the field icon to appear to find dagger. Once the events unfold, pick your desired party and head back to the Lifa Tree.
Lifa Tree Again
After you enter the tree, you'll have a choice of action. Make sure you are healed and then go for it. Follow the path just as before until you reach the trunk. Once you reach the top you will have a chance to heal or change party members, then it's time to fight! The firs enemies are easy just treat them like you would any other enemy. Once you have control head up to the moogle and save. Keep running or you will be caught by another monster, once you reach the bottom disc 2 will end.
