Let @ 11:01pm cst - Sunday's Meeting Wrap up!!!

First of all I'd like to thank EVERYONE who attended the meetings this past Sunday!! We head great turn outs for both the 6pm and 1am meetings!! I'm only to share with you here what was discussed in a nutshell.
1: Kuja's official induction as an Elder!
2. Please try your best to answer everyone and anyone when they have a question or a request for help. Even if you do not know the answer or too busy too help. A simple yes or a no will suffice. Do NOT, under any circumstances, leave them feeling ignored.
3. Teamspeak, you may dload it at www.goteamspeak.com Please, if you have a mic take advantage of this feature! Its extremely useful and actually fun to use while playing. The address to the server can be found to the left of this page.
4. In the coming future we will be adding a new rank above Spirit Guardian! This rank will be reserved for those who are recognized for special achievments or incredible feats of bravery! Check back for more details!
Also congrats to all the winners of our raffle prizes!! The winners are as follows:

Let @ 3:26pm cst - Kuja Chosen as New Elder of AtA!!

Congratulations to Kuja for his promotion to Elder of Aria tama Asha! Based on Kuja's experience and leadership skills, not to mention he's been with us since the beginning of AtA, the Circle of Elders, following the announcement of Chaosrage's departure, have nominated and unanimously chosen Kuja to be the next Elder in the Circle. Congratulations again man!!!
In other news, if you havnt already, please sign Chaosrage's Tribute Post on the Message Boards! We are saying good-bye to a great friend and a brother in arms!! You will be missed Chaos!

Let @ 3:00am cst - Meeting Summary and Congrats to Kuranei on his Winning a Pet Whelp!!!

First of all, I'd like to congratulate KURANEI on winning the first ever guild Dragon Screenshot contest! His picture will be showcased on our webpage AND be sent to WoW's official webpage in hopes that it will make the Screenshot of the day. Keep your eyes peeled everyone!
Secondly I'd like to take some time to go over meeting details that were discussed this past wednesday. Edaras started the meeting off with his idea of creating an Alt Guild to be based on a fresh, brand new, PVP server. Edaras has volunteered to head that guild. The name of the guild will most likely be along the lines of Dark AtA or Dark Aria or Dark Aria tama Asha. Yes, for those wondering, this will be a horde guild. Hence the "Dark" in the name.
Some may ask what are the benefits from this? There are plenty.. one mainly being that if any of our present guild members feels the need to branch out into a PVP server they will always have a place to go to where they already know eachother and trust one another. Secondly, for new members of Dark AtA if they ever want to go to a normal server, they have a home as well.
Aggrammar will NOT be abandoned and will always be first priority. This is just for fun, and to give every one of us more options as guild members.
The next thing discussed was the idea to have two Banks. Ashana will carry all lvl 40-60 items, while the second bank, also headed by Edaras, will carry all lower lvl items. Ashana is terribly overstocked, and i ask that everyone please halt donations until further notice. Thanks.
The third and final announcement was the idea of a new weekly contest. A Guild Lottery will begin either this week or next week. Please check back here for more details!!

Let @ 12:17am cst - Exclusive Guild Contest Extended until Sunday the 15th! WIN a Pet Dragon!

We have decided to extend the Dragon Screenshot Contest to until Sunday the 15th.
Winner will recieve a TINY CRIMSON WHELPING -Estimated value of 40g!!
The Rules are simple. Simply take your best screenshot of a Dragon and send it to Chaosrage. If the link doesn't work mail to this address chaos_dreamer@yahoo.com. The winner will recieve a special prize that will be announced sometime this week, and also be sent to WoW's official Webpage to be eligible for their homepage Screenshot of the Day.
The pic should not have ANY names of anything or anyone. Press Alt-Z to remove all the interface graphics and go into your Interface Options and uncheck all the "Show Player Names" boxes. This will give you a clean screenshot without anything in the way. Finally press the Print Scrn key to take a snapshot. Pictures may be of ANY Dragon and Dragonkin in the game! All pics must be sent in by Sunday before Midnight. Monday pics will be judged and a winner will be annouced soon after! HAVE FUN guys and be creative with this one!

Let @ 2:24am cst - For those that missed the meeting....

Thanks to everyone who made these past two meetings enjoyable for all of us! We really hope the new scheduled dual meetings were convenient for everyone!
Not too many announcements this time around, however we have 2 really big changes on the way this week. First off is Teamspeak. Teamspeak is a program that will allow voice chat with eachother. We really want to implement this in all our guild activites... to help strengthen our relationships with eachother and also add an advantage when teaming for raids and instances. If you dont have it already you may download teamspeak at www.goteamspeak.com.
The process is simple; open Teamspeak and under "Connection" click "Connect". Once there, the only spaces important to enter are "Server Address" and "Nickname". In the server address space, type 68.13.70.108:8767

This will always be the server we link to when using teamspeak. Once inside, look for a room entitled Aria Tama Asha. If there is not one, feel free to create one. The password is always the same. But in order to protect our privacy we cannot reveal the password here. If you do not know the password, please ask your fellow guildmates online.
Second big announcement is the revamping of the rank system. The rank veteran will be removed, and Officer, Member, and Initiate will be replaced with Elder, Spirit Guardian, and Wisp. All new recruits will start as Wisps like normal... once they become Spirit Guardians they will be eligible for the Name Earning Trial upon member's request. This will include grouping with 1 or more elder and the elder will analyze your playing style and personality through random use of fighting, conversation, ect. Afterwards 2 or more Elders will discuss what name is to be given to that player. This is very similar to the coming of age trials in native tribes. This will allow a more personal experience while playing the game and also allow each guild member to have his or her own unique individual place in the guild. Ofcourse, some guild members have been around for quite awhile and a trial may not be needed for we already know eachother well... other name earning opportunities will ofcourse arise through random encounters and experiences shared through the guild. This is not limited to just a group trial. ANYTHING can earn a name. Trials are by players request to recieve a garanteed name at the end of the trial. Name earning can happen anywhere at anytime!
Thats it for now, I'd like to remind everyone to remember that we carry a Guild Tag. Our actions reflect EVERYONE in the guild. I know its hard ot refrain yourselves when you get mad because someone steals your chest or angers you with an insult. Please try to remain calm. Instead, let the guild know of that person's behavior so we may know who the rotten apples of Aggramar are, and not let ourselves become one.
