Ariana has simple wants and simple needs: money and wealth. She's a golddigger and she'll be the first to admit it, and the men don't seem to mind. Take, for example, her ex husband, Mick. Now, Mick fell head over heels for sweet little Ari, and she fell head over heels for his money. It was a match made in heaven! Until he walked in on her and her lover.
So, after five years of marriage, Ari found herself on the receiving end of an ugly divorce. Actually, the divorce itself went rather smooth, Rhydin being a community-property state; she actually made out better than half as far as possessions were concerned. It was the custody battle that proved difficult.
Ari, in all her cold-hearted pleasure, is, indeed, a mother to a beautiful young man named Michael, whom her ex-husband was rather fond of, having been led to believe that little Mikey was, indeed, his son. It turned out, much to Ari's dismay (and surprise, really), that Mikey was not Mick's kid. So that put a stunt in the child support payments, which she is still currently suing for because Mick, after all, did sign the birth certificate.

She trudges on, financially secure for life, and now the guardian of a little Rhydin runt-waif, Ro. It took a lot of manuevering on her part, but she got the silly child to actually choose her over Mick. Of course, Mick being "in love" again did seem to help matters.
She's fiercely independent and, by all accounts a good mother, but don't cross her. She has that lawyer wrapped around her finger, and she's not afraid to use him. After all, it's not her money--she gets alimony!

She's fond of the home, having made Mick build it for her--exactly to her liking--down to the smallest detail. There are jacuzzi tubs, water beds, weight rooms, a recording studio, an indoor poor (and an outdoor pool), two hot tubs, tennis courts, a gourmet kitchen, and the entire basement has been converted into a library, complete with state of the art catalog systems. And yes, she has used every room at least once. ::Winks::

Those who know her best will say that Ari is happiest when she's alone, in the basement, with her books. She loves to read, it being a hobby she picked up from her best friend (and sometimes-lover) Trea. It doesn't matter what it is--any genre, any era--if it's written, she's all over it. See that sweet smile? Those indescript glasses? How could anyone ever resist?

Don't cross her. She worked for many, many years to become a success before she learned of the joys of marrying into money. Yup, she was comfortable with her finances until he spoiled her.
