Appearance: Santeria is a tall man (6'1") with short, greasy black hair and a goatee. He has beady brown eyes. Normally he wears black and red robes, but when in public he would wear completely black robes with a heavy cowl to hide his appearance. On his belt he carried a dagger, a horn, and his components.

History: Currently Unknown.
Campaign Events: Santeria caused a lot of trouble in Voxis, but
ultimately it is still unknown what his true objective was. Using a
magical horn, he could control the vermin living in the mines and order them to
attack the miners and anyone else who dared entered. Ultimately, this led
to the mines being shut down. Santeria also gave Vandoorm a scroll to
conjure a fire grue and put the idea into his head. It's believed he had
something to do with the unleashing of a greed demon in the bazaar, although
this has not yet been proven.
Following a couple of leads, the party managed to learn more about him.
Originally, he was just known to them as the 'man in black.' Once they
tracked him down, they learned his name and true appearance. Santeria
offered the party the chance to join him for ultimate wealth, power, and
pleasure...but was turned down. He and his pet displacer beast, Tira,
attacked them. But ultimately, the party was victorious and killed both of
them.
DM's Commentary: Santeria was really a
minor villain and didn't get much development, largely due to his lack of screen
time. But this was intentional. He wasn't meant to be anything
special. I just used him as a way to introduce the Bloody Maw and their
shadowy agenda (which is still largely unknown).
