The following is a record of all the beasts the Shadow Bats have encountered.

Adventure 01 (Arc 01)

Giant Rats
(29) - The party's first real battle together was in the Mirthful Miner's basement, where they had to dispatch three giant rats.  Later, they went into the Voxis Mines and fought 26 more at once, just barely surviving the ordeal.
Rust Monsters (2) - The party was hired by Vandoorm to dispose of a pair of mating Rust Monsters that had nested in the basement of the smelter.  They dropped a crate of pig iron on one and Astal beat the other to death.
Fire Imp - The party was hired by Brun the Farmer to stop a Fire Imp that was burning the crops.  The imp, named Cinder, claimed he had been conjured by a priest of Renos.  He was easily defeated.
Shadow Bats (12) - Called upon once again to clear out the Voxis Mines, this time the party ran into a pack of Shadow Bats.  After this successful encounter, they decided that they would call themselves the "Shadow Bats."

Adventure 02 (Arc 01)
Skeletons
(21) - While in Kallow Valley, the party ran across a squadron of skeletons marching toward Voxis.  They were overwhelmed and fell, save for Gaheris who fled.  The unconscious party members were then captured by Orcs who enslaved them to work in the Karik Mines.
Orcs (4) - The party knocked out three Orcs to escape their imprisonment.  Daufer then challenged their leader to combat and won.
Giant Hornet - After leaving the Karik Mines, the party spotted a giant hornet.  They avoided it by hiding.
Fire Grue - Vandoorm conjured a fire grue, also known as a flame horror or harginn, to 'cleanse' the heretics of the slums.  The party destroyed the beast and slew its master.
Ochre Jellies (2) - In an attempt to investigate the recent troubles at the mines, the party found a secret tunnel in the tavern's basement that led to the mines.  While in there they were attacked by a pair of ochre jellies, but were able to defeat them both.
Jermlaine (32) - After their first encounter with the mysterious man in black, they found themselves being chased through the Voxis Mines by a small army of Jermlaine.  Meschior was able to stop them by causing a mild cave-in with his last Oil of Fiery Burning.
Displacer Beast
- The guardian pet of Santeria was a displacer beast named Tira.  She was taken down almost single-handedly by Daufer.

Adventure 03 (Arc 02)
Leucrottas
(2) - The party was hired by Lady Arael Monet to bring back the hides of the monsters that dwell on Leucrotta Hill.  They managed to slay two of the beasts at once, thus earning a good deal of gold.
Otyugh - When Loreleii was kidnapped by the Vermin Plague gang, the party followed them into the sewers and ran into the gang's pet Otyugh, "Rex."  Working together, the party made short work of it.

Adventure 04 (Arc 02)
Constrictor Snakes
(2) - A pair of boa snakes attacked the party in the Kallow Wadi, apparently enchanted by some unknown means.
Giant Lizards (6) - Giant Lizards, AKA Rock Lizards, attacked the party in the wadi, under the same magical influence as the snakes.
Fire Lizard (1) - This beast has been around for nearly 100 years.  It has slain a number of Slayers who sought it and its eggs, including a member of the Tainted Hands about 20 years ago.  The party was able to defeat it, however, thanks to Jasmin's Potion of Super Heroism.

Adventure 05 (Arc 02)

Gremlins
(6) - A pack of gremlins invaded Lord Peur's mansion and wreaked havoc, before the Tainted Hands and Shadow Bats were able to hunt them down.
Wolves
(8) - A wolf pack attacked the party in the Kallow Valley during a storm, and nearly got the best of them.

Adventure 06 (Arc 02)
Megalocentipede - A five foot long centipede with lethal venom.  The party slew one with ease in the Kelkar Highlands.
Worgs
(9) - Like wolves, but bigger, stronger, intelligent and evil.  The party nearly met their doom while fighting a pack of them in the rain.
Skeletons
(10) - A squadron of hobgoblin skeletons that actually used strategy to ambush and surprise the party members (except Jasmin).
Zombies
(30) - Thirty zombies, the animated corpses of soldiers, roamed the forgotten temple of Qavay.  The party did not fight them all, but once Illanna was defeated, the remaining ones returned to the land of the dead.
Banshee - The groaning spirit of the drow cleric, Illanna.  The party faced her and defeated her after overcoming the magical fear that surrounded her.

Adventure 07 (Arc 02)
Zombies (12) - More zombies were faced when the party stormed the Temple of Shadowbite.

Adventure 08 (Arc 02)
Zombies (12) - Yet more zombies were faced as the Tainted Hands trekked to Nikola.  Jasmin and Siara faced them alone, and nearly fell to them.
Ghouls (11) - A gaggle of ghouls went after Eskar and Aidan after they broke away from the party.  The two survived, but Aidan's mule was not so lucky.
Desert Troll - The Shadow Bats ran into one in the Dayru Desert.  Daufer discovered its weakness--water.
Vampire - Number Four, Elle, turned out to be a vampire who had charmed most of the citizens of Nikola.

Adventure 09 (Arc 02)
Shadow Dragon
- An army Drow invaded the city of Voxis, and brought a young adult shadow dragon with them.  The party split into two groups and managed to bring it down to its death.
Succubus - Number Three, Kakona, turned out to be a succubus who attempted to seduce the party into giving up.  Failing to do that, she just managed to distract them long enough for an ambush.
Mind Flayer - Number Two, Xriss, turned out to be an illthid or 'mind flayer.'  He ambushed the party while Kakona distracted them.  He nearly ate Zikar's brains, but Meschior saved him.
Beholder - Number One, Teheth-Obz, turned out to be a beholder.  He was the final challenge the party had to meet.  Although the battle was won, it was not without cost.  Teheth-Obz slew Zikar, Kricket, and Eskar before going down.
