Alexander grew in
Parelis. A village within the land of Zeriel surrounded by beautiful
mountains, land, and trees. A young boy with a strong mind. He would often
help his father Alex and mother Aoki with everyday things such as growing
and preparing food. His father a trusted commander within the division rank
of the kings army of Zeriel, would often spend as much time with his family
as possible. His mother, half Jagan. An ancient race with mystical knowledge
and abilities. Their appearance is nothing short of human. The only way a
Jagan would be noticeable is if they were to open and expose their third
eye. Which lies on their forehead. Other then that,a jagan is not
noticeable. Alexander's father was the only one within their village who
knew of his mothers secret. And had remained silent due to a promise he had
made to her. Jubei,Alex's best friend had been a practitioner in an art so destructive he had decided to pass it's knowledge on to no other. He made a trip to Alexander's home in order to visit Alex. After dinner the two had a short conversation. I could hear my fathers voice become shaky as I had captured the words "will die" within my ears. On the next morning I was told by my father that he wanted me to succeed after him. But in order to do so I would have to become stronger. It was then that he had sent me back with Jubei to begin my training at his temple home. For two years Jubei trained me in many basic forms of combat. It seemed to move along rather quick as I had excelled in many of the various forms at the time. So I had decided to become the best at what I learnt. My mother would often visit and speak of many things. But it was then that things had become strange. Four months after the second year. My mother and father had come to visit When night fell. My mother had fallen asleep. And my father was nowhere in sight. Having heard voices I moved outside only to find my father and Jubei speaking of me. He had told my father that I would soon awaken and bring about the destruction of myself and that it would be best if I remained there. They had also spoken of something else. It was on that night I learned of my mothers secret and the terrible setback that came with it. If a newly born Jagan comes within a certain age in life, the power of the ancient Jagan lineage flowing through them would have the chance of being awakened. It seemed my mother had passed the Jagan lineage on to me. Yet there was a chance the awakening would not happen. Yet Jubei had also told him he could see it within me. And that the time would possibly come. At that moment I pondered to myself. "Why did my mother not tell me of this"? "Why was I destined for this?" "And why am I to suddenly die due to a gift I had never asked for"? The next morning my family had gone and I remained silent in anger as my mother had still not told me of the secret she carried with her. Soon Jubei had began teaching me more. I had been introduced to a strange form of summoning ones own internal strength in order to perform feats that seemed impossible. Jubei began passing on his knowledge of this along with the proper style of swordfighting within his art to me. The training was a bit different, yet I did not focus on it. The one thought I kept in mind was that I would possibly die one day. It was a week later when the whole situation finally got the best of me. I quickly made my way home bursting inside my family home staring to my mother as my eyes had captured her. I had told her of what I heard. And with that I continued to speak out asking if they had wanted me gone forever. My mother had only went silent pulling me into a hug and speaking out to me shortly after. She had told me of the Jagan. That they once took pride in the development of magic and weaponry. That she was now one of the remaining few and she had left her home in order to flee from danger. A man known as Madius, who was once a powerful Jagan fighter had risen to one of the highest ranks within their order. But he had soon changed. He wanted complete domination over all who lied within his path and did not accept his power. It was then that he became known as the demon warrior Triloch. This eventually led into a war between their people. Many becoming dark warriors, others fighting against them. My mothers family within her homeland was slain by Triloch and his warriors. It was then that she fled and eventually met up with my father who suddenly aided her when she was attacked by dark Jagan during a rainy day. She had never wanted me to practice the Jagan arts or know of them because doing so could possibly alert Triloch who she feared would seek out my immediate destruction. She had cried and told me how sorry she was to pass such a burden on to me. Sending me to Jubei was an exception. He was more than my fathers friend. He was also my mothers brother. Her last living relative. He would be able to properly train me in time to a point where the Jagan awakening would not be dangerous. I had told her to not worry, and that I had not hated her. Deciding to continue my training the next day I returned to Jubei's. Little did I know that the day would soon become painful... The sound of horrible screams nearby of both demons and humans could be heard. I rushed from the temple with Jubei only to arrive inside the burning village. My home also set ablaze,my father had suddenly hit the ground. My mother moved infront of him and for the first time I had saw her use her power to destroy a group of three large demons. But she was suddenly sent backwards landing onto the ground. The dark warrior known as Triloch stood infront of her asking her to reveal the location of her son. When she would not answer him he began to speak a language unknown to me. The sky darkening it soon came to an end as my father had slashed into Triloch's back with his sword. He then moved to grab hold of my mother helping her up. It was then that I quickly made my way to them only to be grabbed by my mother and held close. The hand of my father resting on my shoulder,he had told her to leave with me. His words were soon ended as he spun around only to be stabbed in his side, falling shortly after. Jubei grabbed hold of Triloch attacking him. My mother had started to run off pulling me along, but the sudden scream of her brother and a group of demons surrounding her would cause us to go no further. Triloch soon walked over having dropped Jubei to the ground and grabbing me by the neck in turn. My mother, father, and Jubei had tried to fight back but were completely outnumbered. A dagger had suddenly pierced my shoulder causing me to scream out in pain. Red would stain the ground shortly after as Triloch laughed dropping me as he continue to speak in the language I had not understood. Triloch had performed a reawakening spell. It was then that my mother had realized his true purpose. To raise demons of Excel legend. Demons who would bring about chaos and destruction within the land. Triloch wanted this power. But he needed the blood of a Jagan who was to awaken to be spilt. The ground had began to shake as he finished the ancient language. Wind began to roar as I had never before heard. A dark laugh took place from Triloch as the clouds had blackened over the area once more. My mother had managed to grab hold of me and pull me to my father and Dio just before the ground suddenly cracked open. From the ground would come six monsters of terrible evil. A largely built minotaur who held a battle axe a size I had never seen before and stood over twelve foot. A female Succubus with alluring beauty, yet true to evil. A reptilian like lizard who stood over seven foot, followed by a batlike creature who held onto the reptiles back. From the ground a huge snake like creature would slither to the female Succubus. And one dawning a large scythe, hidden behind a darkened cloak. They had each spoken out to Triloch in turn stating he had released them. And with that he was to now approach and join them. He had done so,being surrounded by the six. A loud scream of pain had taken place shortly after. It had went on for a few minutes. During that time Jubei,my mother, and my father had scanned for a way out. But they could find none whatsoever as the area around us had changed to a more darker setting. Newly formed demons stood around us in every corner, darkened laughs heard. Everything fell to silence, the six monsters who had come each took four steps backwards. Triloch was completely changed. His flesh no longer flesh but armor of a crimson color. Wings of black had suddenly folded around him giving the image of a darkened cape as he stood. Eyes of red set in our direction as a smile took place. He spoke "Lower yourselves to the winged Angel of death". My father, mother, nor Jubei would do so. A few smaller demons moved alongside Triloch as he stared fiercely and ended with the words "Kill them". The demons moved in swarming us,my father and Jubei fought back their hardest but more continued to come. The large minotaur grabbed my mother and I tossing us to the ground alongside Triloch as the reptilian creature had sent a a clawed hand into my father. The Succubus taking hold of my uncle Jubei had pulled him close tossing him into the darkened sky. He seemed lifeless as if he had fallen from the sky. My father landing to the ground a moment after having looked to my mother and I one last time. Triloch's clawed hand gripped my mother as a heavy foot would slam down onto my chest pinning me to the ground. He had spoken out to me in a darkened voice "watch closely". Vampiric like teeth draining her shortly after. A single tear which ran from her eye had fallen against my cheek as my breathing became unsteady. Having finished,Triloch allowed her to drop to the ground. Both eyes had widened,my body slightly shaking in rage and complete pain. I screamed out. My jagan powers being awakened and unleashed onto everything around me. The force had caused Triloch to be sent backwards, yet uninjured. A few of the weaker monsters around falling victim to the uncontrolled power. My body had felt like something were trying to escape from it. The pain was unbearable,I could do nothing but scream out. No matter how much I wanted it to stop,it would not end. "Was this the Jagan"? I had thought to myself. So many things had run through my mind. Memories of the past with me and my family. Only to lead to the images that had taken place on this night. As my right eye had taken sight of my fallen mother once more the feeling had changed. They would fall...everyone...would fall. I allowed my body to relax,my eyes closing only to focus with my jagan eye. The energy around myself had died down. I quickly opened my eyes once more falling to my knees and taking in quick deep breaths. A summoned ball of dark energy thrown at me,it hit the ground alongside. The explosion had sent me into the air,and landing into a woodened area. Triloch had laughed, believing his new found powers were at a godlike status he took off into the sky. The remaining demons following him each in their own way. |
