Dragon Leader

Dragon Leader The Dragon Leader is an experienced Dragon Caster or Dragon Lancer. When they have proved themselves in combat they get the chance to duel the former Dragon Leader and take his place. Many train for this chance and are skilled in the ways of the Dragon Leader. Dragon Leaders are very powerful and are great fighters and decent spell casters.

Handle Animal: 10 ranks
Animal Empathy: 10 ranks
Feats: Mounted Combat, Mounted Archery
Special: The character must have a Dragon mount.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Dragon Leader is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, light armor, medium armor, heavy armor
Spells: Beginning at first level the Dragon Leader is able to cast spells. To cast a spell the Dragon Leader must have a charisma score of 10 + spell level. Dragon Leader spells are based on Charisma and spells have a DC of 10 + spells level + cha modifier. When a Dragon Leader gets zero spells in a level he gets only bonus spells. The Dragon Leader prepares and casts spells as a wizard.
Familiarity: Starting at second level the Dragon Leader is use to fighting on Dragon mount. He gains a +1 bonus to all balance checks to stay on the Dragon. He also gains a +1 bonus to attack checks when fighting on the Dragon. This bonus goes up one every other level. (This effect stacks with any previous bonuses)
Dragon Lance: At third level the Dragon Leader receives a Dragon Lance that is charged with incredible power. The lance does 2D6 damage and when the Dragon Leader makes a critical hit with the Dragon Lance it does 2D6 secondary damage of one of the following types; electric, fire, ice, or acid. The Dragon Lance is treated as a +2 magical weapon. If anybody besides the Dragon Leader is wielding the Dragon Lance it loses all its special abilities and is treated as a normal lance.
Charged: At sixth level the Dragon Lance does 3D6 secondary damage
Leadership: At seventh level the Dragon Leader gains Leadership as a bonus feat.
Super-Charged: At ninth level the Dragon Lance does 5D6 secondary damage
Master of Dragons: At tenth level the Dragon Leader gains the ability to call on the gods for help. Once per adventure he may call down Ultimate Punishment. Ultimate Punishment has a 60’ circle of damage. The reflex saving throw to take half damage is DC 25. Ultimate does 30D6 damage but the damage is evenly spread throughout all characters in the damage area.
