Character Bios No.1

Welcome to the first part of my Character Bios. You see, Final Fantasy 6/3 is packed with great characters, and I want to pay tribute to them all!

Terra

Terra is one of the main characters in FF6/3. Born half Esper and half human, she possess valuable magical powers. These powers were greatly sought after by Emperor Gastahl and his minions, so she was controlled by a slave-crown (an item which robs one of all indivivual thought) and used as a Magi-tek soldier. However, she is rescued from this fate by a group of rebels, and after some confusion joins them to bring the empire down! Terra is the only character who can use magic other than Celes for the first while. Eventually everyone else can with the help of Magicite (See Espers), but she pretty much stays one of the best at it.

Locke

A bit of a hero and a bit of a devil, Locke is the lovable 'Treasure-Hunter' who helps Terra at the beginning of the game. Plagued by a past in which he abandoned someone he loved, resulting in their death, Locke offers to help each and every troubled young girl he meets. Though he feels guilty about this incident from his past, it really isn't all that much his fault. You see, Locke's fiancee fell and hit her head while they were out Treasure-Hunting together. As a result she lost her memory, and her parents were so mad at Locke they kicked him out. Then they were killed by the empire, but Locke had his girl's body very well preserved in hopes he could find a way to bring her back. Locke has the all-too-useful 'Steal' ability. Don't knock it, because some items can only be obtained this way. Locke can be a very strong character, just don't call him a "Thief"!

Edgar

The play-boy king of Figaro, Edgar has hit on each and every female in his kingdom, including the High Priestess! But besides his soft-spot for women, Edgar is a brilliant inventor and a wise king. His twin brother Sabin ran out on the kingdom shortly after the death of their parents, not wanting any part in ruling. That left Edgar on his own to decide the fate of his people. So he wisely chose to pretend to friends with the empire, secretely aided the rebels. This charade fallls through, however, when Kefka finds him harbouing Terra. But don't worry. Edagar, Locke, and Terra easily escape. As for Figaro...well, let's just say it manages to burrow it's way out of this sticky situation! Edgar has the unique but powerful 'Tools' ability. This allows him to whip out some of his latest and greatest inventions to demolish his enemies.
