Saiyan:
This is a very aggresive race. The Saiyans had always been ruled by Freeza. They had helped Freeza conquer and clear off planets so that he could sell them. Their home planet, Planet Vegeta (Plant Plant before conquerd) was destroyed by Freeza and only Goku and Vegeta were left of the Saiyans. All full blood Saiyans have black hair, and a tail, they also transform into a giant ape or Ouzaru when they look at a full moon.
Ouzaru:
This level is achieved by a Saiyan who has a tail and looks at a full moon. A Saiyans power is 10× when at this stage but the Saiyan cannot control their power. This stage is called Ouzaru, all Saiyans that still have a tail can transfrom to this level.
Super Saiyan:
A Saiyan has to have a pure heart to reach this level, although they can have a pure good heart or a pure evil heart like in Vegeta's case. This level is cause by extreme rage and anger. In this level the Saiyan has gold hair that sticks up, green eyes, muscle mass increase, their speedly is greatly increase along with their power.
Ultra Super Saiyan:
Even though this level is much more powerful than Super Saiyan, the speed decrease makes this stage no good in battle. This level is reached by extreme training. Once again the Saiyan has golden spiky hair, green eyes, but there is also a huge power increase and huge bulky muscles.
Super Saiyan 2:
This level is reached once again by extreme anger and rage. The change is dramatic, there is lightning flashing arougn the person, there is even more hair sticking up, green eyes, but most of all a huge power increase
Super Saiyan 3:
If you think Super Saiyan 2 is extreme then you gotta see this. The saiyan's hair grows down to his knees and the eyebrows go away abd there is even more lightning around the person. This level is reached by extreme training. Goku and Gotenks are the only Saiyans to achieve this stage.
Golden Ouzaru:
This stage is reached by a Saiyan who has a tail and looks at the earth from a different planet. Goku reached this level while fighting Bebi-Vegeta on the new Plant Plant. Only Goku and Bebi-Vegeta reach this stage.
Super Saiyan 4:
This level is the most extreme with the Saiyan's hair growing long, red fur grows on his body, the eyes are red-rimmed, and the Saiyan grows bacl his tail. In order to reach this stage a Saiyan must first reach Golden Ouzaru
and then gain control of his power and powerup. This level is pretty mucg Golden Ouzaru compressed. Goku is the only one to reach this stage the normail way because Vegeta used a special brute ray to transform into Golden Ouzaru first.
