Potara Earrings - This method of fusion was introduced during the Buu saga in DBZ. These earrings were given to Goku by Kaioshin to beat Buu. They were originally planned for Goku to use with Gohan, however Buu absorbed Gohan. Unlike the fusion dance, the fusion these earrings cause lasts indefinitely.

Fusion Dance - This method of fusion was first taught to Goten and Trunks by Piccolo as a last resort to defeat Buu. This consist of a rather awkward dance that fuses to beings. For some reason first attempts of this fusion end up in a Fat or old version of the actual fusion. The fat one can't really move let alone fight and the old one just sits there and wheezes.

Namekian Fusion - This method of fusion was introduced in the Freezer saga by a completely lame way in the words of the DBZ announcer "What's this?? An ancient Namekian Fusion Technique??". This Fusion is The Namekian shortcut To the fusion dance.

This fusion was performed by:
 1. Piccolo and Nail
2. Piccolo and Kame

To form:
 1. Extremely powerful Piccolo
2. The "Namek"
