Whitie and Blackie

Whitie and Blackie are one of those rare combinations that just go together in the mind: Thrash and Badcat, Palom and Porom, Fonnie and Zonnie. That has as much to do with their names as anything else. Whitie is a very short black kid, Blackie is a very tall white kid. Both might have been regular street children or successful in their own special way, but it seems they were destined for greatness. After the Dark Fred debacle, the scientists of the project faced both failure and Fred's wrath for the trickery they put him through. They decided to try to hunt down and kill or recapture Dark Fred. To this end, they chose Whitie and Blackie. There were a number of reasons for the choice. First of all, Dark Fred was very strong: a lone warrior was not enough to defeat him. Second of all, the scientists wanted to study interracial relations and the psychological effect of street kids with little or no purposes being given a new ticket on life. Third, the scientists greatly needed to get back their damaged reputation, and a successful test with a black kid would majorly help to do just that. Fourth, White and Blackie's metabolism were perfect for their respective jobs. Fifth, Fred had a very good chance of finding them, and the trio of Whitie, Blackie and Fred would easily defeat Dark Fred. And so on and so forth. They made the choice.

Whitie and Blackie were contacted. They let themselves be "fucked with" by the scientists for the same reason Fred did: they were flat broke. Whitie was given the Magi DNA Fred had with no modifications. Blackie got a conglomerate of modifications. Dark Fred had already shown his incredible Strife and Skirmish ability in the initial fight with Fred, so Blackie's peace powers could, with Fred's DNA, counteract Dark Fred's power. Such a counteraction would surprise Dark Fred. The scientists had not yet learned that a Magi's skills are very oriented by his personality, but the DNA modifications have just increased Blackie's life skills, although perhaps at the cost of some variety.

When the Final Battle team finds Whitie and Blackie, they are fighting Dark Fred. They are actually faring quite well for their power levels, but Dark Fred is an Avatar. A fight with Dark Fred occurs. Blackie tries showing his gratitude, but Whitie's tenacious personality stops Blackie. Fred comments on Whitie's wimpiness. Whitie does the Joe Pesci routine: "Huh? You dis-respectin' me? What?". And Fred replies, "Hell yes!". Fred is then immediately surprised by a punch to the gut. Thrash is forced to separate the two combatants. It is then discovered in a roundabout way that Whitie and Blackie are what they are.

Whitie

Whitie is a tenacious, fighting boy. Blackie must continually restrain him. However, his powerful emotions and speed offer him some useful skills.

Abilities:

Anger Spirit: This modification of Spirit Bomb takes the energy from frustration, rage, and other energies and pools it into an amazingly powerful bomb! The attack's proximity to Strife & Skirmish makes Whitie afraid of using it too often, lest he turn into a new Dark Fred.

Barrage: Basically the Magi equivalent of the Rifts spell of the same name. It consists of cutting the energy blasts into numerous small balls and smashing the enemy with them.

Enemy Sense: This very honed use of Rage Sense enables Whitie to see enemies, friends, neutrals, potential enemies, potential friends, and so on.

Maggatling: This unique move is developed by Fred but can be used naturally by all the Magis. Maggatling is a combination TK-energy blast. Basically, energy pulses are accompanied by a TK "bullet". At close range, the "muzzle flashes" are powerful pulse energy blasts. At long-distance, a basically instantaneous shot hits enemies.

Rage Sense: Whitie can detect sources of raging emotions or powerful, sudden reactions, even if not technically rage; i.e. a raging thunderstorm, a psychopath on a killing rage (even if the psychopath really feels next to no anger). He can also detect his own anger brewing.

Raging Barrage: A fusion of Barrage and Raging Energy, every consecutive smash from the energy balls hurts more. Thus, it is worth it to slow down the impact.

Raging Energy: This energy blast is quite peculiar. Every consecutive hit with the blast makes it stronger; every miss makes it weaker. Yes, this can be combined with Shinken, Maggatling or Blaster ZanMagJi, but it becomes increasingly costly, though quite deadly.

Rush: A temporary chi/magic boost not unlike MagKogRyu. The move is an odd combination of Sorcerous Fury and Magical-Adrenal Rush.

Unite with Magic: Whitie is the first person to be able to turn his own powerful collection of magic into a body of pure, raging magical energy, similar to Sorcerous Fury but with greater mastery. At first, he requires a "jolt"; ambient ley line energy, someone else's magic... and so on. Later on, such a source is not required. The transformation into pure energy has a number of advantages.

Blackie

A very large, very friendly kid. He is physically strong and very fast for his size, but he uses his strength less than Whitie.

Abilities:

Angel of Peace: Blackie transforms into a white, purified version of Dark Fred's Blood Angel. His eyes glow white and his entire body is white.

Calm: Blackie, when he researches this power, always exerts a calming influence. This can help to stop battles and to make battles slow down or cool down, but it is not enough to stop the effects of a large-scale battle. If he meets a force such as Ares who seems to cause war and death by his own aura, the two auras will clash in such a way that the stronger one is reduced in power and the weaker one is not felt at all.

Cooling Ice: A ice or water which is liberating and calming.

Light against War: Blackie creates a piercing beacon of light. All the warriors calm down, start forgetting their war. This is used to reduce Dark Fred's returns from Strife and Skirmish.

Maggatling: This unique move is developed by Fred but can be used naturally by all the Magis. Maggatling is a combination TK-energy blast. Basically, energy pulses are accompanied by a TK "bullet". At close range, the "muzzle flashes" are powerful pulse energy blasts. At long-distance, a basically instantaneous shot hits enemies.

Negate Strife & Skirmish: Blackie can merely stop the process, which, considering his speed, means that Dark Fred might get one or two fights worth of power because it is shut down.

Peace & Love: This power is the anathema to Strife and Skirmish. It drains energy from peace, love, good feelings, and sorrow at violence or evil. All of these positive energies are as strong as hatred and desperation, which are the energies drawn upon in Strife & Skirmish.

Sacrifice: Blackie uses this to make all attacks hit him. This is a last resort move, and a move that Blackie will do in one ending, where he absorbs the All Monster's final blast at the cost of his own life. Even if the attacks far override his health and turn him into individual atoms, he will absorb all of the attacks.

Spirit Bomb: Blackie can learn the ability Spirit Bomb on his own, but it doubles or triples his learning rate to have Goku or another warrior who knows the manuever. Blackie can prevent his Spirit Bomb from doing pointless destruction, but the power is weaker.

Stop Destruction: One of Blackie's most powerful skills. It prevents destruction and war from happening. If it is put into effect when an attack is being launched, the attack loses it's wind. Sometimes, Blackie is too late to use it, but if it used wisely, it can prevent such people as the All-Monster and Dark Fred from tapping the energies of war.

Warming Flame: A very warm flame that cures cold, disease, poison, and helps people cope.
