About TCG
What is Pokemon TCG, you ask me. Well, you've come to the right place, and asked the right person. I'm no Pokemon TCG expert, put I know at least the "Must Knows" of it. Pokemon TCG actually stands for Pokemon Trading Card Game. It is not only a card that you trade around, it is also a card game you use to battle your opponent. It's not a real battle, but it is as real as it can be!
Pokemon TCG is a card game that has many sets. The current sets are the Base Set, the Team Rocket, the Jungle, and the Fossil. In the Base Set there are four decks, and one beginers' deck. In each of theose theme decks, there are 60 Pokemon trading cards, and 61 in each beginers' deck. In the other sets, there are only two theme decks. But that's not all the things you can buy to collect all the cards. Booster packs are one main part in Pokemon TCG, because they each contain 1 rare card, two energy cards, and a few other cards. These cards add up to eleven cards in total. But this only works for the Base Set. For the other sets, there is 1 rare card like usual, no energy cards since the other sets don't contain any, and 10 more of other random cards mixed together. So there you have it, an almost close to perfect explanation to the words Pokemon TCG.
