Thread, the evil that falls from the sky. It eats all in it's
path excepting metal, rock, and a few other things. It got it's name as when
it falls it is in the form of long silver colored strands. As Harper
Andrea quotes:

Thread comes from the sphere colored red,
A planet, that all of us know much too well.

Thread is back, it returned after being knocked off course by a passing asteroid shower. You can fight back against Thread by training your dragon to fly, to go between, and to eat firestone and belch forth flame.This will turn the thread into a crispy critter....or fritter, whichever you prefer...
