Wherries
Wherries are stupid birds that are a delicacy to dragons and men alike. They usually like to eat fish and can often be found by rivers. Be careful however, they are rather buzzard-like and will attack if necessary, but normally they are just too stupid to do much of anything!
Tunnel Snake
Tunnel Snakes live in the earth, they are afraid of dragons but not in any way afraid of humans. You must be careful when traveling in caverns and such for they do attack. They are rather like snakes but have tiny limbs to help them get around just a little quicker then snakes of earth.
Firelizards
Firelizards are very kind and useful little creatures. They are basically the anscestors of dragons and can be Impressed. However they do not speak, they rather show the person they were lmpressed by pictures in their heads. They are easily excitable.
Herdbeasts
These creatures are like a cross between a Komodo dragon and an ox. Big, heavy, strong, endurable, and fairly obedient.
Canines
Dogs, most are somewhat between a mix of German Shepard and a Jack Russel terrier.
Runnerbeasts
Some think it to be an equine, other favor more like a llama. Personally, I think it to be llama-like, considering the book's descriptions are not at all describing a beautiful equine.
