Races of Nachtaria

In Nachtaria, you will find many types of people and creatures. Here is where we tell you a bit about each of the organic races.



Humans: An average race of people, humans are. The originated on Earth and, through science, ended up inhabiting the planet of Nachtaria. They can range in height and appearance, having no notable special abilities.

Strengths/Weaknesses: None.

Elves: A humanoid race, however they are far from human. Nobody knows exactly where they came from, but they are as numorous as humans. Look for pointed, slender ears and thin faces. Elves are always slender and not usually tall, although some have been seen at 6'. They have exceptional hearing and most can see in the darkness, but Dark Elves can see in pitch blackness. They are usually dark eyed/skinned and antisocial beings. Some elves have wings. Some don't.

Angels: Spirits of humans or Elves who have passed away, taking on a physical appearance. They are often skilled in magic and most have a certain aura. There are several types of Angels, most of which can be identified by their wing color. Neutra Angels have very clean wings, which can range in color from white and all sorts of colors, to grey, but never black. Fallen Angels, which are said to be the bringers of misfortune, have wings that can be from a dull yellow color to black, and they are always tattered and worn.

Strengths: They gain a +1 to intellegence, and NEUTRA ANGELS ONLY gain +1 to dexterity for their ability to fly. Fallen Angels cannot fly due to the condition of their wings.

Weaknesses: The Fallen Angels take -1 to Dex because of their wings. Neutra Angels suffer +10 dmg from Unholy magic/weapons held by Demons

Felus: A catlike race of people, their origins are unknown but it is said that they came from earth. Like humans, they can vary in appearance, but they usually have feline ears and/or a tail and possibly fur, their eyes always having slitted pupils. They have amazing grace and speed, but do not fair well in battle, usually using their speed to avoid getting hit.

Strengths:They gain +1 to dexterity and +4 dmg to claw attacks as they are masters of the organic weapons.

Weaknesses:They suffer -1 to Strength.

Werewolves: These creatures are very unique. They can be any race that is alive, and non animal related. Like human or elf. They are gived a disease called Lycanthropy which is passed on by another reltive or bitten by another werewolf (Requires OOC consent for Lycanthropy to be passed on). What it does is have three phases for three phases of the moon. First is full, where your body completely changed into that of a wolf, and your only communication is canine. The second is half moon. Where you are only half wolf. What you would have is the tail, ears, claws, fangs, and the abilitys. The third is the quarter moon, where you are only quarter wolf. The ears are pointed, somewhat like an elf's but have fur and are like that of a wolf's sort of. You have very sharp fingernails, no tail, pointed teeth and your abilities work at half the maximum.

Strengths: Being in the first or second form gives you +5 to dexterity and +2 to intelligence and +4 to strength only temporary in these forms. For quarter, +1 to intelligence, +3 to dexterity, and +2 to strength. You have a great sense of smell and can smell out almost anything. With a good sense of direction and able to call other wolves to you, you can also use your teeth and claws as a weapon.

Weaknesses: You are weak to silver. Even in your regular form just because the wolf blood runs through you. There are three kinds of silver. Regular silver which is not (d5) so bad, mythril (d10) which is the second worst, and enchanted or magical mythril which -is- the worst (d15).. Keep your ass away from that unless you want it to donate yourself for a decoration on someone's floor! I'm sure you'll make a GREAT carpet..

Draconis: The Dragon-like creatures that are native to Nachtaria. They have the ability to shift into dragons, and in that form they have natural weapons and armor. There are several types of Draconi, Flying (Fire, Electric, Ice), Water, Wind, and Earth. Each is weak to its opposing element. Fire - Ice, Water - Electricty, Ground-Wind. Electricity-Ground, Ice-Fire. You get the idea. They also have a humanoid form, in which they appear human, but with horns atop their head and wings sprouting from their back and a scaley tail. Water dragons, in human form, have finned ears and webbed fingers/toes and a mermaid-esque fin. Wind simply look like humans with feathery wings and a pearly tail.

Strengths: They all have strength over each element, and they gain +4 to Strength when in Dragon form. Also, their claws do 2d10 when in that form. They all have natural breath abilities which do 2lvd10 damage and can be used LV number of times per week.

Weaknesses:They are weak against their opposing element. However, wind does not suffer from any.

Vampires: Undead creatures that walk the night and drink blood to survive. They are deathly pale, and seem to be a very romantic race, although some will mercilessly feed on their prey. They must stay out of the light, for it weakens them, although Daywalkers can freely walk in the daytime, unlike their night-dwelling cousins. OOC consent must be given if a Vampire is to bite another being. They have the ability to turn into bats at their will.

Strengths: They gain +1 to Luck/Charisma due to their romanticism, and the Daywalkers are not weakened by sunlight.

Weaknesses: They suffer -10% to hit and evade when fighting in a sunny area, as well as +10 dmg when hit with holy spells/weapons. They are weakened by holy water/items, and garlic as well.

Demon:Children of darkness, spawn of the Dark Ruler. Demons are a proud race, who spread across Nachtaria like the plague. They take many forms, ranging from a Gargoyle to a beautiful man/woman or even having animal (goat, bull) heads/bodies with human parts as well. They can fly, usually, and they love the night life as much as vampires.

Strengths: They gain +2 to strength.

Weaknesses: Due to their unholy nature, they take +10 dmg from all holy items/spells.

Canis Demonis:A mysterious creature that can take 2 different forms. The first is that of a large, silver or black wolf with red gill-like marking on its sides. From these, sprout tentacles. They can be poisonous, and do d12 dmg to the opponent. The second form is that of a seemingly humanoid being. Their skin is either stark white or pitch black; nothing in between. The females will usually dress in simply sleeveless tops opposite their skin color, and skirts. Unlike males, their ears are sharp and pointed on the end like a procupine's quill. The same, clothing-wise, applies to males, only they do not wear shirts, and simply wear pants, so that you can see the red gill-like markings on their ribcages. Only the males have tentacles. Females have a poisonous d12 bite, and their aim with said weapons is very accurate. Their hair will be the opposite of their skin color and their eyes are always either red or gold.

Strengths: They gain +5% to hit in their wolf-creature form, as well as +5% to evade.

Weaknesses: In human form, due to their frail nature, they suffer -4 strength.
