News: 9/24/2002 (from the old site)

Today is the grand opening of this site. It has a lot of good stuff and is one of the best VHD sites I have seen (can you say bias?). I haven't given it a name yet, so if you have any ideas, e-mail them to AndrewMudd@aol.com. If there are any problems or stuff you want to see added, e-mail them to me or go to the guest book at the bottom of this page.

Okay, here is the deal. I have started seeing some traffic again, so I have decided to update the site. Be prepare for some new stuff in the next few weeks.

News: 3/14/2002 (Note: Not all of the site is done. Bear with me.)

Well, the site has been changed.  I didn't want to lose the whole Vampire Hunter D feel, but I felt the site needed a change. I didn't like the way I had it all laid out and I wanted to improve the loading time. Sorry if all of you don't like it, but I think it is for the best. I have gone mainly text based. There are a lot of VHD sites out there that are so good looking that I can't even compete. However, they don't give much info or they are in another language. So, I have decided to go for the simple look and provide as much information and pics as I can, since that is the reason you would go to a site right? There have been requests for the script to Bloodlust, so I am going to start work on that. Since there is no captioning on the US DVD, I will have to do it by ear. It will be dialogue and that's it. It won't be like a play. Its main function will be for dubbing the Japanese version. It might take me a few weeks or so, so hold tight.

News: 3/26/2002 (As a side note, the counter was at 2000 before I accidentally reset it.)

There are a few more sections up. I am rewriting the stuff from the old site so that it sounds better,

so it will be a little while for the other sections. I am looking for a script to Bloodlust still, so if anyone knows where I can find one, email me by clicking Contact Me. Also, the old site is still there is anyone wants to check it out while this one is being updated. The site is here. Also, the font set for this page is available here so that this site can be viewed correctly. It is really just BD Garamond, so if you got it, you can see the site correctly. It also has instructions on how to install BD Garamond. I have also noticed an annoying black space at the top of the page. Something screwed up when I uploaded and I have no idea what causes it.

First, I am glad people are posting in my guest book, but if you have comments about corrections needing to be made to my site, please email them to me instead. Also, if the comment requires it to be put as private, email it to me, because I don't like the private posts in my guest book. I'm picky, I guess. Also, I am thinking about submitting my site to those "Anime Top 100" sites and such and was wondering what everyone thinks about it. Don't worry, I am not going to have the "Vote for me or you can't look at my stuff" crap or 20 pop-ups on every page (Angelfire already makes me have 2). Instead, I will have a page in the links section that you can go to if you feel my site is worthy of your vote, because I am a big anime fan and all the crap that I have to go through to find anything in them (thankfully, the hardcore VHDer's with sites like myself haven't succumb as much to the temptation). I will have them because it may increase traffic (and having them on a single separate page doesn't hurt anyone, I think). As a side not, you may notice I don't advertise on this site. That is because this site is simply something I like to do. I don't plan on ever having ads (unless I do it on a single, separate page like the voting stuff). The sole motivation for me is to increase traffic (thus, the Top 100 stuff is just to increase traffic, not make me money). Hopefully, if my site grows, I will stick to this principle and not be tempted by the green stuff (although it is possible that I will do a little advertising if I get my own domain, just to break even and all). Well, I guess that is it for today's rant. Oh yeah, I have added a few more pages and you can keep you eyes peeled for more updates.

Okay, the voting site stuff and affiliates section has been added to the links section. I also have made some banners for my site, which can be found here.
