Herewithin lies a link into the Eye of Orthanc. Here you shall be able to gaze upon the Dark Lord himself and hear news and events that have happened in the realm of Mordor.
News from Mordor. The Dark Forges below Barad Dur have long been
the birthing place of evil instruments of destruction. The Demon Smiths below
have been working long on an item that might quell the opposition of the
Shadowclan Orcs. This is their weapon. The Orcsbane is a vile weapon, while being forged
It was woven during the tempering process with evil Icantations of power
and cooled in the blood of Elves. The damage upon any
Orc who so much as touches it is severe and should it bite the flesh of an
Orc it would mean certain death indeed. Given to the Captain of the Uruk Hai,
Grishankh, one would think that he being of the orcish race would loathe
such a dreadful item, but it is not so. Indeed the mere touch of the weapon
pains the Orc greatly but he endures it, and his hatred for the Shadowclan
is the cheif reason why he is able to wield such a weapon, for the sword
Sensing the wielder's hatred for Orcs of the weaker race has aligned itself
with Grishnakh's Aura, and pain just seems to him as an afterthought
to the great amount of pain that he will be able to cause upon his weaker
cousins. A warning to the Shadowclan, beware the blades of your brothers! Added 01/24/01

Parley with the Shadowclan
Recently our brother Aresius took a sojourn with the Captain of the Uruk Hai, Grishnakh to give them one last chance to join the horde of Mordor and ensure that their race survives upon Middle Earth. After several attempts to get the orcs to understand that the Wargod they so worship was actually Morgoth, the pathetic wretches, lowered themselves to insults and spat blashemy about the Dark King. The whole affair threatened to escalate into violence but the Dark Lord entered the mind of Aresius and told him to stay his hand for the moment. The two brave fighters for the throne warned the orcs that the day will come when they would come to regret the words that they speak on this day and that this would be the final parley before the return of Morgoth and the subsequent annihilation of their race. Still the orcs tried to insist that their Wargod would protect them and they even went as far as to try and corrupt Grishnakh with their insolent sacriledge of the Evil King. But Grishnakh's heart was too pure with the Evil and the darkness the the Vengeful One instilled in him and spouted horrible insults to the orcs in their own tongue which enraged the orcs to a feverish point. Then when all seemed lost one of their leaders appeared and had words with Aresius. Aresius proceeded to tell this orc, Zug'Dagh, of the errors of the Shadowclan way, and STILL even this orc, though stupid as the rest, had a bit more sense and reasoning in him to see the grave mistake they were all making, but still the orc claimed that he would stick to his ways until death, and that very well may be soon. The tides of darkness do not blow in favor of the Shadowclan. The Army will be reborn, tenfold strong, and nothing can stop them, should all the hosts of light and goodness stand between.

> The Uruk Hai Grishnakh
Rumor has it that strange shadows have been seen creeping into Mordor at night. The grunts and cries of orcish voices have been heard wailing through the night as an insurmountable legion of large black skinned orcs pours into Mordor from every direction each nightfall. The orcish clan is called the Uruk Hai and they have been long awaiting the moment when their master Sauron would again rear his head upon Middle Earth. Smaller in number than their less intelligent cousins they have been forced into exile and driven into caves and catacombs for not following the path of the Wargod as the common orcs of the day do. Little do they know that the wargod that the orcs worshipped was actually Morgoth sending his will forth from the Void and commanding his servants from the dark recesses therein. Now that the Orcs of the lesser tribes renounce the rule of Morgoth they in turn renounce the rule of the Wargod and now must face annihilation at the hands of the lesser but superior forces of the Uruk Hai. These new Orcs are said to be led by a vicious and bloodthirsty orc named Grishnakh. He is said to carry human children off screaming into the night and brings them back to his Master in the tower Barad Dur to endure the torments of the dungeon of the Black Tower. Grishnakh has an hearty hatred for the Orcs of the Shadowclan and has this to say about them. " Snaga Orcs fauth bagronku-ishi, skahuga buubhosh duuga!!"(The lesser Orcs lie hidden in dung pits, and f*** in pig guts and filth!!) (added 01/17/01)
