Aglorim the Dark was a Necromancer of the highest ability.
After the fall of Sauron at the end of the third age, at the hands
of the Ringbearer and the wizard Gandalf, Aglorim began
his search for the secret of resurrection. At the
end of the fourth age Aglorim began searching for the Silmarils,
the three most precious jewels in all of Middle Earth. Deep in the
chasms of Moria, now called Hythloth, he found
the the first stone, guarded by a host of Balrogs. With an army of
goblins and orcs before him he was able to wrest the jewel
away from the Balrogs and return to his tower, whereupon
he placed it upon a great altar,inset with three crevices. On the back of a
great dragon he found the second Silmaril, in the citadel
of the two greatest of the Valar, Manwe and Elbereth. Through
treachery Aglorim was able to decieve Elbereth into giving him the Silmaril
unbeknowest to her husband. With the second Silmaril
Aglorim fled back to Middle Earth and in the depths of
his tower began his dark incantaions. With the powers of the two
Silmarils he harnessed the power of resurrection
and he summoned Melchar(Morgoth)and Annatar
(Sauron)back from The Void and into Middle Earth once
again. Now called the Mortician by mortals he resides in
the rebuilt Barad Dur at the side of Sauron and
together they spread their magicks and evil across
middle earth.
