A Golden Hind is a female Deer, a gift giver, a pair of ears that suddenly pop up behind you. It takes them many years to learn to speak, for they are creatures of pure emotion. Emotions that cross all language barriers, all creeds, and all dreams.
It is the nature of a Hind to be shy gift givers, they "feed" the people with their gifts, and are fed by the love of the people of Kymer. Thank a Hind - it feeds them just as much as the Golden Tokens that is their natural food.
Hinds are likely to run off if exposed by sudden movements, and rarely return to a locale where they have been frightened! They love Meditation Park and can often be found near the wishing well or swinging in the swing. They love to play with the butterflies in the Jungle, but tend to prefer the more civilized areas of Kymer.
If you have never received a gift from a Hind, remember, they can only give you a gift if your hands are empty, and there is room for them to land in the locale. They are happy when the people empty their hands without coaxing! They try to give gifts to those who are not parking, so they may wait awhile to see if you are "awake" before giving you something.
