The list is posted so that other gift givers may see who wants what. In most cases other avatars will be the ones who give you the ONE item you ask for; the Hind's stock of the very rare items is limited to the donations received. Anime items are not in our current inventory of gifts. The Hinds give what they receive; items are donated or purchased by Scheherazade in bulk from vendos.
Sometimes we receive donations from the possessions of someone who has had to leave Kymer. Other times, we receive items from the gifts of remembrance in memorial turfs, or left on the streets or in the Place of Remembrance. To donate the contents of the memorials of those who have died in the Waking World is similiar to scattering the ashes of one who is lovingly remembered across Kymer. These donations those who no longer can remain in Kymer, or who have gone on to a better world, can be the final gift to a world that was once cherished.
While I, Scheherazade, hold strong religous beliefs, the Golden Hinds are innocent creatures who hold no religious beliefs of any kind. They are as they were created in The Great Silence - simple gift givers, full of love, very shy and playful spirits.
When the Golden Hinds have no more to give, or are starving, the entire herd retreats to their own world to be restored and well fed on the Golden Mountain, located far off in the Distant Hills of Kymer. Be assured that they will return when they once again have the means to give their gifts, randomly, with joy.
