Description:
The Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk is a unique aircraft in that it could both launch from and dock with an airship. Although these aircraft did not participate in WWII, this scenario explores what might have happened if they did.
The airship USS Macon has intercepted the IJN Ryujo, a Japanese carrier. Both vessels launch their fighters, and a battle ensues.
Team 1 will fly F9C Sparrowhawks and attempt to destroy the IJN Ryujo. Team 2 will fly Nakajima Army Ki-27 Nates, and attempt to destroy the USS Macon.
