Welcome and thank you for stopping by at my Rose Shrine. This is dedicated to my favorite character of Legend of Dragoon, Rose. So if you totally hate Rose, you have no buisiness here. Well, when I first got the game, I was really excited and I had the demo, so I liked Shana the best in the demo. But when I first got Rose and saw her do her stuff, I quickly loved her to death. She was in my party since I first got her, along with Lavitz, then Albert. She's extremely strong and very mysterious, and almost every game has got to have a mysterious person. Plus, we finally have an ally who can use the darkness...and a young woman no less!
You know, when I first saw and used Rose, she reminded me of a lot of people. Here are the people they remind me of. Do you quite agree? If you have any comparisons that are not listed here, you can e-mail me and I'll put it up if you wish.
Is anyone familiar with the anime Heroic Legend of Arislan? If so, then you probably know of Pharangese. I believe Rose is DEFINATELY like her. Pharangese is amazingly strong, a little mysterious, and just plain pretty. Pretty much the same for Rose. And don't they look and act alike?
I'm sure EVERYBODY knows of Final Fantasy VIII. There is a young woman named Quists Trepe who kind of reminds me of Rose. Not by looks or power, but by wisdom. Rose is wise about the arts of Dragoons. Quistis is wise about SeeD fighting. So their wisdom kind of links.
Also from Final Fantasy VIII, there is Squall Leonhart. He keeps alot to himself and keeps his distance from everyone else, pretty much like Rose. You don't know alot about her and during discussions with the group, she is often alone while everyone is together.
Being alone often. Doesn't that remind you of Vincent from Final Fantasy VII? (If you have no idea what FF7 is, YOU'RE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!) During discussions, he's always somewhere else! Although, he has a reason to be alone and we don't really know the reason for Rose. Plus Vincent is like your dark ally, and that is what Rose is.
Last but not least, we have Sailor Saturn.
We all know Rose is NOTHING like Sailor Saturn, but now you have to think power-wise.
Even though Sailor Saturn's powers are Silence, it's pretty much dark. And since she's the most powerful of the Senshi, her dark powers are amazingly strong too. Enough to destroy a planet! Rose has amazingly strong dark powers and some, such as Astral Drain and Demon's Gate, are extremely useful in battle. Who knows what Rose's powers can do in the end?
Rose is a very powerful ally. One of the strongest in the game. Her voice is awesome and her Dragoon powers are really useful. She plays a VERY important role in the game besides awakening the Dragoon within Dart. Anybody agree?
